“I could see on the camera that Levi immediately loved her! She asked a lot of questions, which I love, to ensure that we were on the same page and overall was just great!”

“The best dog walker I’ve had yet! My pup can be leash reactive and high energy on walks, and Akshay has handled her wonderfully and cares about her unique personality. Always gives great updates during the day so I know she’s being cared for!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 2 years and truly love caring for animals. Along with my experience providing overnight care, I currently work as a veterinary assistant, where I care for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. Working in vet medicine has helped me become comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including senior pets and anxious animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full time, so I fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available on weekends and some Thursdays, which I’ve listed in my availability. I make sure to plan ahead so I can be consistent and give pets proper care and attention when I’m with them. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walks and bathroom breaks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep their environment clean and safe and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner.
“Rachel did great and our dog. We appreciate how thorough she was with the instructions we left. She was very communicative and left pictures, videos and a detailed report of what our dog did. Very appreciated and we definitely recommend her. 5/5”

About: Cant think of time where I haven’t been around a dog. Growing up there was always dogs in the house. It comes easy to me. For my 2 dogs it starts at 345am with their first walk before I head to the gym. There 2nd walk comes at 8am before I start work then again at 2pm for a quick lunch break and their last 2 walks come at 5 and 930pm before settling down for the night. In between all the walking they’ll get breakfast and dinner and some naps. Meet and greet is important along with getting to know the pets needs and routines. Along with likes and dislikes. Knowing what the pet parents wants and expects from visits or boarding.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and truly enjoy bonding with pets because they feel like a safe space and the most genuine companions. I have 4+ years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, giving attention, and making pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to care for their pets with patience, love, and reliability. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I make time throughout the week for feeding, walks, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets attention, comfort, and companionship while their owners are away. Extended Care after 8+hrs fee is $45 I can easily create your dog enough space to feel free and comfortable like home, take them for a walking while keeping them safe in a peaceful area.
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, which has driven me to dedicate my time to caring for them. Over the past five years, I have been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, handling a variety of breeds and temperaments. My experience ranges from walking high-energy puppies to providing gentle care for senior dogs. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I schedule morning and evening walks to ensure pets get consistent exercise and attention. Weekends are also flexible for additional walks or runs. I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, avoiding busy roads, and monitoring pets closely. In clients’ homes, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment, ensuring all pets feel comfortable and cared for.
“Naeemah is very reliable, presentable, patient, friendly and considerate. My dog and I loved her! I will rebook her as needed and would highly recommend her if you’re in need of service.”

About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila! She’s full of energy and loves running around the yard, going for walks, and playing fetch with her toys. I’ve been helping take care of my family’s & friends dogs since I was a little girl, and I’ve always loved dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. 🥰 I’m currently in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at FDU. I started in May, and the program is 15 months long, so I’ll be graduating in September 2027. My classes are a mix of online and in-person, but I’m generally available all day on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to house sit and available Tuesdays and Thursdays for drop-ins and walks! Whether your dog needs a walk, a trip to the park, someone to play with, or just a buddy to relax with on the couch, I’m happy to help! I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. Just let me know what you need, and I’d be happy to make it happen. 😊
“I can’t say enough good things! I reached out last minute—literally the night before—after my original dog walker had to cancel due to a family emergency. Travian came through bright and early at 6:30 AM with zero hesitation. Total lifesaver.”

“Nechama is fantastic! She was on time. She follows instructions well and demonstrated care for Buddy. He came back happy from the walk. I strongly recommend Nechama and her dog walking services.”

“Veronica is extremely communicative and always loves my Sadie. You can tell she really cares for these pets. My Sadie is still working through some separation anxiety and Veronica always is very gentle and kind with her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was very young, growing up with them since I was about 2 years old, and I started actively caring for them on my own at 12. I have experience with many different breeds, from German Shepherds to Yorkshire Terriers, which has helped me understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I currently have a well-trained Border Collie and a very sweet cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I’m patient, reliable, and truly love spending time with animals, always making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. My schedule is very flexible! I take dogs to parks, interesting walks, and even the beach if authorized. I have my own transportation with no additional costs. I wake up at 7am for the first walk: 1.5 hours. After that, breakfast time. Second walk around 1 hour after they finish eating. I work while they explore the house freely. Lunch followed by a long walk (2-2.5 hours) to parks or different locations. Dinner and two evening walks (7-8pm and 10pm). Your dog is welcome to sleep in my bed or use their own bed, whatever they prefer—I adapt to their comfort and routine.

I currently go to college Monday, Wednesday and Friday but for certain hours. I also have a part-time job but only at night usually 4-10. I spend my full attention on the pet, mostly if playing in the backyard. When walking the pet I also have my full attention on them in every since, like if it was my own dog!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Weequahic
The entire interaction with Omar was smooth and rooted in care and communication. My dog immediately liked him and Omar went the extra mile to assure not only was Ty happy but how he could be helpful. Knowing my dog was in good hands is a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I’m looking forward to booking with him again and would urge anyone considering to not hesitate.

Madeline was awesome. It was a last minute request and I was very nervous. This was my first time using Rover. All I can say Madeline was on time, took great pictures of my baby (Jerzee) and gave me feedback on their interactions. I definitely recommend Madeline and I plan on booking her again.

Jane is great with Luna! She’s very attentive to my instructions and very considerate. Anything I need she’s ready to handle and is just the kindest person and Luna loves her !! I’ve booked Jane for 2 weeks now for dog walking and am happy to say I’m a returning client!
