“I can't sing praises enough for Michael. We typically make arrangements for dogsitting well in advance. This time, one of our sons was house/dogsitting. He had to be taken to the hospital, had emergency surgery, and is still hospitalized. Our other son and his family work full-time and couldn't stay at night. I made arrangements with Michael from a cruise ship in the Eastern Caribbean, which meant we couldn't do a meet and greet ahead of time. Our other son met up with Michael to introduce him to the dogs. Michael took great care of our dogs and our home while we were gone. He was very communicative. It's good to know we have an excellent option for care next time we're going away. Looking forward to actually meeting him in person next time. About: I've been pet-sitting for friends, family, and referrals for the past 10 years. Yorkies, Doodles, Dachshunds, and other mixed breed dogs, cats, and birds. I love caring for pets, especially cats and dogs and keeping them on their routines, feeling safe and loved while their owners are away. I've cared for senior dogs and have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I love taking dogs for their walks ...I personally walk 3+ miles every day and will gladly sit for dogs who love a good, long walk. I typically do overnight stays from 2 nights to 6 weeks. I am now accepting dogs, one at a time, for day sits in my home. I have a big fenced in yard and currently no pets. As a writer and yoga teacher I work from home and have lots of time to play with, walk and provide lots of loving attention to your pets. I do not currently have a pet. I used to have cats and I love all pets. I have a fenced in back yard. I typically pet sit in the pet's home when owners travel and am now offering daycare for one dog at a time in my home. I love to send pictures of the pets to their owners to let them know their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: My family has always had dogs while I was growing up. I love all breeds of dogs and would enjoy dog sitting, dog walking, or even checking on them! My pictures include my family’s dogs. Although it looks like a lot of laying around due to her anxiety and wanting to cuddle, I do enjoy playing and going on walks with dogs. I work full time as a teacher in Osceola County. I’m typically available during most weekends. I’m also available some evenings throughout the week, after 4:30-5pm. I do not currently have pets in my home. I am willing to go to parks to walk and play, or dog parks while taking care of someone’s dog (only if they are trained and dog friendly).

We had a great experience with our dog sitter during their recent stay at our home. From the start, communication was clear and consistent, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. They took wonderful care of my dog, Gia, making sure she was comfortable, well-fed, and getting plenty of attention and love, especially important given her age. I also really appreciated the respect they showed for my home. Everything was clean, organized, and exactly as I left it. Kevin is an absolute gem! I recently had him watch my two dogs for three days while I was away in Phoenix, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Kayla took amazing care of our babies and our house!! Her proactive communication and responsiveness made us feel so comfortable, which means we enjoyed our vacation even more because we had peace of mind that all was well back home - and that is priceless. She followed all directions for the dogs and the house, and when we got home the house was just as we left it and all packages were brought inside without being asked. We are so grateful!
Dom is absolutely amazing! From the initial meet & greet it was clear our dogs would be well taken care of. She sent loads of photos and updates over the 2 days. It was obvious that our dogs adored her and were quite content. We’ve already booked Dom for another stay with our dogs!
My first experience with Rover is with Cristina, Cristina is fabulous with our puppy, Dash. Cristina played with Dash, brought him to the dog park and took him on various walks. Cristina is very pleasant, happy, and passes on her confident personality which makes a first-time Rover-user like me, feel confident when leaving their puppy with the caretaker for the day!!
