“We had a great experience with our reactive dog and nervous kitty! Iuliia came over for a meet and greet a few days prior to our trip and I was surprised at how quickly both pets took to her. She took great care of them and our home during her stay and sent us daily updates as requested. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Lauren was the best Rover we have had. Great communication, my 1 year old orange tabby and our 9 year old dog were so calm and happy. House was left in perfect order. Definitely will ask for Lauren for our future trips.”

“Lilah was wonderful. We hired her for Xmas Eve and we felt 100% comfortable leaving our 7 month old puppy in her great hands. We met her about a week before our scheduled time and I immediately felt comfortable having her in our home and more important watching Remy. We talked about expectations (we just wanted her to hang out with Remy) and what we expected from her (just to hang out). Day of, she had taken him for a walk (wasn’t required) and sent me some pictures and we just touched base a couple of times to be sure SHE was okay!! Super happy with her and so thankful she was willing to watch Remy while my family gathered for Xmas Eve!”

“Biiftuu was an excellent dog sitter. She clearly took good care of my little Aussie poo. She sent good pictures and left the house in excellent shape. I would hire her again.”

“Mary was wonderful staying at my home with my dog Maple. She checked in with pictures and updates and handled some anxiety and accidents Maple had really well. Would definitely recommend Mary!”

“Penny was great. She really listened during our meet and greet. The dogs (1 senior cocker spaniel and 1 middle aged active beagle) really seemed to love her. We came home to happy dogs and a well cared for house.”

“Robert was super accommodating for a short-notice weekend with my pups & cat. He was super communicative and took great care of them all! Would highly recommend Robert!”

“Erin stayed with our golden retriever, Harvey, for two weekends in the past month. We’ve never used rover before and we were a little nervous, but Erin was so great with him and sent us lots of updates. She also was very thoughtful of our space! (I.e washing the sheets and towels, making the bed, running the dishwasher, leaving the space clean). Would definitely recommend!”

“Tracy's 2nd time sitting for our admittedly complicated cat family. All scoundrels alive, well, and accounted for = 5 stars. Will be looking for her again the next time we skip town. Thanks Tracy!”

“We loved having Marykay housesit for our senior kitty while we went away! She is patient and kind and has a lot of experience with cats. She sent plenty of updates and photos which is great for these anxious pet parents :) When we returned, our kitty was calm and content, and the house was perfectly clean. I would definitely book with Marykay again in the future!”

“Iya was wonderful! This was our first time using Rover and we are so happy to have worked with Iya. She did great with our dog, and it was such a relief knowing she was able to be at our house with him!”

“Mercy was amazing!! We feel like we found our new dog/ house sitter. She regularly gave us updates and sent photos. Our dog is a senior and Mercy didn’t mind giving Moxie her medicine and taking her for her short walks. We already thought she was great and then we got stranded in Detroit on our way home. We texted her last minute and asked if she could possibly stay an extra night and she saved the day and said yes. We highly recommend her and will use her services again.”
“Azia’s a fantastic sitter. She’s watched my Gracie during two vacations and has been professional, a great communicator, and has provided wonderful care. Would absolutely hire her again!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Carolyn. It’s so great to have someone take care of my fur baby and my house while I’m out of town. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Jessica is fantastic. My rather anxious dog took to her right away. I felt so at ease knowing she was watching my cats and my dog. I have nothing but good things to say about her.”

“Amelia did a wonderful job house and pet sitting for us while we were away for a week this summer. She managed both big dogs and the cat and did everything else I asked. She is super responsive and does a great job communicating and sharing updates. I would highly recommend her services !”

Longfellow pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our doggies were lazy and calm when we came home — that’s a huge compliment for a dog sitter. Brandon is a lovely houseguest. Not even our cat had a complaint. (Brandon is one of the few visitors with whom our cat has a special relationship.) Our flight home was canceled, and Brandon rolled with the punches to stay an extra day. Whew! His flexibility made a stressful travel situation a bit less stressful. Thank you, Brandon!

We are happy repeat clients of Iuliia. She does a great job taking care of our two dogs, including our small 16-year-old dog with a complicated medication routine. All three pets seemed relaxed and hapoy when we got home and the house was spotless. She's great.

Rachel took care of our two pups and cat for a little over a week, and because we’ve hired her now several times, I didn’t worry at all - even when there were some tummy problems, I knew she’d take the best care. Our pets are super sweet and gentle and the extra TLC she provides is exactly what they need!

Cody house sat for my three Pomeranians. This involved processing a fairly-involved set of instructions prior to the visit, as well as working with the three dogs' different needs and different levels of separation anxiety during the visit. Added to this list of responsibilities were a number of protocols to follow regarding the house itself, it being fairly old and replete with quirks. Cody did a great job on all accounts. I'd recommend them to anyone seeking pet care, and would be happy to have them care for my dogs again.
Lillian was a great sitter for my senior dog and I would happily book her again! She was proactive, communicative, and professional. I appreciated her thorough updates on my dog and all the cute photos she sent. I could tell when I got home from my trip that my dog was well cared for and relaxed and that Lillian was attentive to him and respectful of my home. Highly recommend!

Savannah housesat for our senior kitty recently and was a real gem to work with! She was patient and kind and asked specific questions about care beforehand. When we had an unexpected house issue just before her stay, Savannah was understanding and flexible as we sorted it out. We received plenty of updates and photos while we were away, and felt assured that our kitty was in good hands. We would absolutely rebook with Savannah in the future!

Lucy was fantastic for us. She communicated well with us before and during the stay. She seemed to follow the directions we gave her extremely well and asked questions about stuff and kept notes for herself too so she could make sure everything was followed. When we got home, the house was as clean, if not cleaner, than when we left it. We were extremely happy with her and the booking.
