About: 🐾 I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and it’s been a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve looked after pups of all sizes—from a tiny 8 lb dachshund to strong, lovable 100 lb pitbull mix. My experience includes everything from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, each with their own needs and personalities. I currently live with two spayed female dogs who are well-socialized and have peacefully cohabitated with several foster dogs since last year. I regularly volunteer with Border Tails Rescue, providing a safe, nurturing home for dogs in transition. Through fostering, I’ve gained deep experience with behavior observation, gentle training, and helping anxious or shy dogs feel secure. I’ve managed feeding routines, administered medications, and supported dogs through recovery and adjustment periods. I’m especially mindful of canine body language and group dynamics, and I only accept dogs who are friendly with others to maintain a safe, peaceful environment. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I treat every pup with patience, respect, and the kind of attention I’d want for my own. 🐶 When dog sitting, I am home all day so your pup will have lots of attention. On the rare occasion I do leave the house, it's never for more than 4 hours at a time. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I share my home with two friendly, playful dogs—Miley, a 50 lb mixed breed, and a 75 lb American Bully—who are well-socialized and enjoy respectful canine company. My securely fenced yard provides space for supervised outdoor play, and my middle school children, who are also well-versed in watching and caring for dogs, help ensure everyone feels safe and supported. I only accept dogs who are known to be dog-friendly to maintain a positive, secure environment for all.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. I have an extremely safe neighborhood with a little park about a 3 minute walk away, two kids that love playing with dogs, (15 and 8) and an extremely friendly mini goldendoodle!

About: I have owned dogs sense I was I’d say 6, once I turned 10 I started offering family and friends to watch their animals, which included feeding, playing with, walking, bathing, grooming. I am currently not working, I am currently enrolled in online classes to become a horse trainer, so I am open pretty much always sense all my classes are set paced I don’t offer in home services but I do have a dog of my own you can request that I bring him over to play, he is house trained, but is afraid of big dogs so small dog owners only! I worked for a dog day care company so I have a wide variety of experience with dogs all ages and sizes, as well as basic training in dog first aid.

About: I had a golden mix retriever for 10 years. Currently I volunteer at Second City Shelter located in Palatine and love spending time with dogs and would love to take care of your pets and help you whenever is needed. I am available after 3:30pm everyday and Sunday and Monday all day. We can arrange time and make it work. I am flexible to accommodate hours. I take care of the pets at the clients home since I would like pets to be in a familiar environment. I can drive to your location.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and caring for them is a passion of mine. I have experience with dogs of many breeds and sizes, reactive dogs, cats, and medication administration. I understand and appreciate that every animal is different and am more than happy to accommodate to their unique needs. With a chronically-ill cat of my own, I understand that being away from your pets can be stressful, and I hope to provide the same peace of mind that Rover sitters have given me. I am nearing the end of physician assistant school and will have a good amount of free time while awaiting licensure and full-time employment. My current schedule is somewhat flexible, so we should be able to make something work! When caring for a pet in their own home, I fully accommodate to their normal routine. About: I grew up running my own dog walking business and started taking care of my own dog and others since I was 8. I fed, walked, trained, and played with pets and loved every second of it! I am a full time student and have taken care of a bunch of dogs while at school. I love to do the same when I am home for breaks and always fit in time in my day to be around pets. My house has over an acre of land, and while not fenced my dog is a herder and keeps all the other dogs in the property. I am able to crate your dog and walk them with ease.
