“Maellin was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter; she had excellent communication across the board. Sharing updates and photos of Navi every day. I could tell from the photos that she took such good care of her, Navi was smiling, and really warmed up to Maellin, which she doesn’t do with everyone. It was over the 4th, and Navi was quite nervous about the fireworks. Maellin took every measure to ensure her greatest ease and comfort, bringing her into their bedroom and turning on some background noise to help drown it out. Maellin is also a wonderfully sweet human; she will 100% be my first choice anytime we need care for Navi.”

About: I have a 5-year old dog, Roxy, who is very sweet and loves making new dog friends. We live in a home with a fenced-in yard and about one block from a park that is great for dog walks. I can provide a large crate if needed. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I’m typically available for contact unless I’m in a meeting, but will respond soon after. Roxy gets backyard playtime and walks around the park daily. She eats one large bowl of food in the evening and also receives treats. Of course I can accommodate your dog’s schedule and needs.

About: Disclaimer: I will only be in the Albuquerque area until May. I am more than happy to care for your furry friend until then but if you are looking to establish a long term relationship with a sitter, unfortunately I may not be the best option. My name is Katie. I’m a full time dog groomer and have a lot of experience working with pets. I have been around dogs since the day I was born, never without one in my life. I grew up with two gentle giants, my parents Bouviers, Bear and Irving. I have since adopted my own dog, Sheba, a rescue from the humane society of New Mexico. I love dogs, as well as cats, and I cannot imagine my life without them. I do not offer any grooming services through Rover, but I’d be happy to set up appointments at my place of work! I look forward to hearing from you! I work four days per week, 8 hour shifts. As far as boarding, your pet will be free to roam my home while I am at work. If you prefer I kennel them, I am happy to do that as well. I will never leave my dog or any dog I am sitting alone for longer than 8 and a half hours, but they would be alone for the day while I work. For this reason, I cannot accept puppies that are currently being potty trained and I cannot accept dogs that cannot be left alone unless we discuss this prior to the booking. I have a home and can offer multiple walks per day. I do not have a yard but can ensure that each dog spends plenty of time outside.

“Charlie gets SO EXCITED as soon as we pull up in front of Jamie and Pat’s house. He LOVES to visit them! They are excellent dog sitters! We never worry about him when he is with them. He is a powerful puppy in a massive body and can be hard to handle, but Jamie and Pat are not the least intimidated by him. And their children and dogs are perfect for Charlie. We love Jamie and Pat and highly recommend them!”
