Providing clients peace of mind.
It’s my goal to provide the pets under my watch with the best care possible. It’s important to me that my clients have peace of mind concerning their pets so that they can enjoy their vacation or business trip worry free. I message, send pictures, and provide videos often towards that goal. I gladly give their pups all the love and attention they want. Truthfully, I just love dogs and love their company. I’ve had dogs and all sorts of other pets my whole life. They will get plenty of attention from me and my wife since We are retired and typically home all day and night every day. Currently I have no dog of my own and one reason I do this is because I enjoy their companionship. I also do not care for dogs from other families at the same time. So, your pup or pups will be getting our full attention without worry of conflict with another animal. I have a high concrete block fence all the way around the grass back yard where we go out often for fresh air, play, and potty. Them potty, not me. I keep your pet indoors with me mostly but give them potty breaks and play time often during the day and night. I do not leave them alone outside. And if we go for a walk or to the park, they will always be on their leash and we avoid other animals which may be out. We tend to be tranquil low energy home bodies. So a pet with a lot of energy or one that needs daily walks and exercise may not be a good fit.

We just did a one day trial with Mark & Mary. They have a great set up for pet sitting and it's very clean. He sent us several texts and some photos & videos throughout the stay, which was nice and reassuring. We've already booked a 1 week stay during Thanksgiving and will hopefully be booking more, so we can travel a little. Our little toy poodle puppy took to them, right away & the videos showed her playing with them. Don't hesitate to book with them.

Mark and his wife are wonderful! They took amazing care of our dog Chance. Like our stay before they provided multiple daily updates with pictures and videos. They let us know how he was adjusting and you can tell they both are dog lovers. Thank you for making us feel comfortable with going out of town when we can't bring Chance. Chance came home happy and I know he would love to visit again in the future!
Mark and his family did a wonderful job caring for my dog Benji! He sent regular photos and updates and I was confident that Benji was in great hands! Benji was a very happy pup when he returned home with me which reflected Mark’s care and attention. It is evident that Mark genuinely loves dogs and caring for them.
Mark did an excellent job taking care of Chaco. He provided updates using text, photo, and video of Chaco and it was clear Chaco enjoyed his stay with him.
Mark was fantastic for our dog! Twice per day updates on his mood, habits, and included pictures and/or video each time. Absolutely spoiled our pup, spent time with him all dav and even mixed in some rice with his food while his stomach was upset. Finn was very comfortable with him and (almost!) didn't want to come home

Schedule
Since I am retired, I will be with your pup pretty much 24/7. My wife will be helping me as well so it’s highly unlikely we would ever leave them alone. If we do need to run a quick errand and we can take them with us, we usually will.

Safety, trust & environment
It’s my priority to provide your pup(s) with a happy, safe, and healthy experience. It is only my wife and I so my home is quiet and calm. I have a grass yard for play and potty breaks. There is a high brick fence around the yard. There’s not much in the house for them to get in trouble over. The floors are easy to clean in case of accidents. Between visits I thoroughly clean and disinfect the floors, furniture, rugs, patio, and even the yard with animal safe solutions to insure the health of your pets.
A typical day
Your dog and I will interact often during my care playing games such as fetch or chase or tug of war. They will get a lot of attention and affection. I talk to them often. We will play in the yard, or house, or at the park. I do not let them off leash ever. There are two large parks just a couple blocks from my home. Maybe we will spend a little time learning some new commands or games as well. I keep away from other dogs and always keep your pup on their leash. I make sure they cannot run out through a temporarily opened door. I take absolutely no chances with your pups.

- It’s important to know if your dog is aggressive towards other animals or strangers or has other triggers such as protecting his food. Any health issues your pet may have or activities that you do not want to happen. Although I’ll keep on eye on your pet at all times, let me know if they are a fence jumper or escape artist. Also, if they have separation anxiety. Normally I’ll be with your pup all the time, including all night, but I could need to run up to the store or go to a doctor appointment during which time my wife will keep an eye on them. On a rare occasion we may need to leave them for an hour or so.
