“Brougan did a great job taking care of our home and our pets while we were gone for a week. He checked in, sent pictures. The pets seemed to really like him. We would definitely ask him to sit for us again.”

“Becky was wonderful! She went above and beyond, followed all instructions, sent frequent updates/pictures, and left the house very clean. She really eased my anxiety of leaving my dog for extended trips. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of family and neighborhood pets since I was in middle school and people in my neighborhood have come to rely on me to check in on their pets regularly. I am also an Animal Sciences student studying at Oregon State University (but I’m home for the summer in the Olympia area!) hoping to become a veterinarian and have worked in some clinical settings, so I have a bit of a background in veterinary medicine to give your pets the best care! I’m currently shadowing at a veterinary clinic three days a week but other than that I’m widely available to take care of your pets! I generally shadow Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (but days may change) from 8-5:30, but I have a lunch break from 12-2 every day and am able to let pets out mid day! Other than that I am largely available most other days! I treat every client's home with the same care and respect as my own. I carefully follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved while you're away, keep your home clean and secure, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and stress-free in the environment they know best.

“Shannon was fabulous! Our dogs (and cat) felt at home with her. She did a fantastic job taking care of the house, and making sure that our fur babies weren't too anxious with our leave. WILL use again when needed in the future! Highly recommend her for your pet needs!”

“Jaclyn was amazing. We were a little out of her service area, and have 2 great danes, so I was worried about finding some one who was comfortable with them. She is friendly and my dogs took to her right away, even my dane with anxiety. She sent us multiple pictures and updates, wich put us at ease since it was out first time using her service. Would absolutely use again.”

About: I've cared for people's dogs, cats, fish and homes for a couple of years in the Lacey, WA area. I work remotely so most days I can be with your pets all day and I have stayed in homes for up to two weeks. I love animals and will play with your furry family members, take them for walks, give them medicine and stick to the routines you have established. I love gardening and am happy to water plants while you are away. I work remotely so as long as you have wifi, I can stay with your pet(s) during the day! I can stay with your pets any day/night of the week. I will follow your routine, take your pets for a pup cup if allowed, or just hang out and play and snuggle in your home. I work remotely so I can easily take your dog(s) for walks or play fetch in the yard on breaks. I am comfortable giving injections and other meds if required. Of you need me to take out garbage bins or water plants, I am happy to do that as well. I will leave your home just as I found it, ready for your arrival.
“All good with Ariana! The puppies Chidi and Ellie had a great time playing with Ariana's puppies, everything was in good order when I returned, no complaints from the puppies! Thank you!”

“Mckinzie took excellent care of our pooch, house and yard! She was very sensitive to our shy dog’s personality and they ended up good friends! We appreciated her quick response time too. We will definitely use Mckinzie again in the future!”

“She took great care of our dogs and home while we were away. She kept us updated, followed instructions, and made sure the pups were comfortable and well cared for. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs and everything in great shape. Thank you, for helping make our trip much less stressful! Most importantly, she was very sweet to our babies, and that means the world to us. 🐾💕”

About: As an experienced dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by truly understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have a natural ability to read their body language and adapt to their moods, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medications, following specific dietary plans, or providing enriching playtime and walks, I tailor my approach to each dog’s routine. My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.
“It was great having Kirsten watch Cooper again. He was truly sad to see her go! She took him on long walks, and was super flexible when our plans changed last minute. Coop's definitely looking forward to hanging out with her again!”

“Our kitties LOVE Angela! Void hides from everyone, but runs right up to her when she visits. The house is always spotless when we come home, and the kitties are very obviously well cared for. Thank you so much for putting our minds at ease when we're out of town!”

About: When I was little and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said 'dog walker' — and now I finally get to live that dream! This summer I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I have experience with both small and large dogs, as well as cats, and I treat every animal like my own. This summer I'm home in Olympia taking a college course, so my days are flexible and my focus is simple — hitting the books and spoiling some fur babies! I have plenty of time and am committed to giving your pet consistent, reliable care My home comes with a large fenced yard — plenty of room for your pup to run wild, explore, and have the time of their life!
“Sydney was a great sitter! She communicated very well and took good care of my pup and place while I was gone. When I returned, my place was clean and my dog was healthy and happy! Would recommend to anyone! I have a large dog and she did great!”

About: Some of my earliest memories were fur baby family members. I lived in households with black and brown lab's, Shar Pei's, Yorkie's, Chihuahua, and multiple cats. At 5 years old I wanted a cat so bad that I hid one in the car. My mom noticed the cat on the drive home. After discussing it with the original owner it was discovered that he did need a new home and that is how Smokie joined the household. At 8 years old, I got permission for my second cat Speckles. I was allowed to help bottle feed him before he was able to come home with me. He lived to the age of 19. My schedule is very open and flexible, I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies. Wednesday mornings I go visit my grandma, I am free during the afternoon after visiting her. I will be caring for your pets in your home. I'm available for drop in care, check-in's, pet sitting, house sitting, and overnight care. I do have mobility limitations, I walk with the assistance of a cane and therefore am unable to offer pet walking services at this time. I have a service animal, my small dog Leroy. He gets along very well with cats and dogs of all sizes.

“Bekah did a fantastic job taking care of our two boys for the first time. She was professional and friendly; we much appreciated her keeping us updated with photos daily. We hope to use her again in the future. Thank you Bekah!”

About: I’ve taken care of most every kind of critter, starting at 5 years old taking care of baby sugar gliders and a Pomeranian puppy at the same time! I’ve have never been short of an animal in my home owning dogs, cats, fish, birds, snakes, lizards and many insects. I’m currently home to taking care of my brother for summer break, so I have plenty of opportunities to take care or maintain your pet. I currently overnight pet sit a 14 year old golden retriever named Karma and 4 year old rescue cat Maui, Karma has to be medicated by hand everyday so I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. Maui is a cross eyed skittish kitty that doesn’t trust most people but wasn’t a problem for me. I go at their pace until I have their full trust in me.
“Marnie took great care of our two dogs and our home while we were traveling for the Fourth of July weekend. She stuck to their schedule and always fed them and took them out on time and was very communicative throughout her stay. She also sent us lots of photos. Would highly recommend Marnie and book her again!”

“Erica really made our first experience with Rover great! Our dog is a sweetheart, but he can be major menace sometimes, and Erica really handled him with such kindness and patience. She sent us multiple videos and photos every day, which made us feel confident that he was in good, loving hands. We will 100% book Erica again in the future! Thank you Erica🥰”

“Bryan took care of our 3 pets while we were on a 2 week trip! Our dog can be very anxious so it is hard to leave him for long periods of time, but Bryan did great with him! We came back to a clean house and very happy pets. Would definitely book again!”

FAQs for House Sitting - Littlerock
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 645 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Littlerock. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Littlerock walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Littlerock maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Littlerock choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
