About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. The doors are locked unless I or someone with a key unlocks them, i make sure that the dogs have a leash on before I open the door and that there are no cats near the door to run out.

About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

“We were pretty hesitant to leave Cubbie with someone outside of the family. I saw Kat’s facility and knew he would love it, and he ABSOLUTELY did!! Cubbie is pretty active, and quite social. He had SO MUCH room to run around and play. Kat has her own dogs too, so Cubbie loved making new fur buddies. Kat was great about sending us pictures and keeping us updated on how Cubbie’s day was going. We will DEFINITELY be using Kat again!!!!!”
