About: I’ve been a volunteer at two different animal shelters, including Olympia‘s Joint Animal Services. I’ve worked with everything from tiny 4 week old kittens to elderly dogs, and I’m comfortable delivering some medications. As a former teacher and current volunteer educator I’ve passed many background checks. I’ve taken care of my own pets and those of family and friends my whole life, and I love getting to know new fur friends. I am currently working part time as a consultant so my pet care schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Meeting someone new can be stressful for an animal, so I meet your pets with patience and attention to their needs. I strive to be a calm and safe presence although I am also happy to have fun and match their energy if they are looking to be playful.

About: I have 10+ years of experience taking care of neighbors, family, coworkers, as well as my own pets. I learn each animals routine and try to make them as happy as they can be while their owners are away. I’m experienced with dogs of varying breeds, sizes, energy levels, and ages. I have taken care of dogs that have just been born to dogs that need special medicine and nightly baths to be comfortable. I make sure that pets are safe and happy and will follow any instructions very closely. I can provide updates and pictures to the owners to give peace of mind. I do not have any children or pets of my own so my availability is very open and I can plan my schedule around the pets needs. I can make sure pets have constant care by giving them the right amount of exercise, playtimes, and check ins that they need. While in a clients home I can focus on maintaining the pets routine. About: Animal lover here! I take very good care of dogs of all kinds as demonstrated by my volunteer and pet sitting experience. I have volunteered at shelters with scared dogs large and small, fostered and trained shelter puppies, was a babysitter for puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and served client families as a professional pet sitter. My role for others' fur babies is to provide care so that they have their needs met in their parents' absence. I am a great surrogate parent! Over the years, I’ve personally raised several puppies—including a Jack Russell Terrier, two Corgis, and a Shetland Sheepdog—which taught me patience, consistency, and how to support dogs through every stage of development. I’ve completed training courses with all of my pets, working on recall and foundational commands like sit, stay, roll over, and fetch. I also have lifelong experience caring for cats. I’ve raised kittens, supported senior cats through their later years, and understand how important it is to move at their pace and respect their boundaries. Along with senior‑pet care, medication administration, grooming, and daily routines, my background gives me a calm, confident approach to animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Pet care fits smoothly into my weekly routine because I’m currently a full‑time online student with a very flexible schedule.
