“Brice is a wonderful sitter for my Frenchie. My schedule changes some weeks and he is always willing to try to work with me to make sure my puppy is taken care of. And my Milo loves him to pieces!!”

“Rachel helped feed and look after 4 kittens and 2 adults for a week!! She lived the expression “herding cats!” Thank you so much for taking great care of them and keeping us updated with photos and details of how they were all doing!”

“Amanda took care of Lanie and sent pictures to let me know that Lanie was happy and cared for. She also took on feeding some outdoor cats that have chosen my house as their base. Amanda was always timely in her visits and took time to secure a couple of package deliveries during my time away. I will likely contact her again when I need care for Lanie to see if she can accommodate my schedule. I appreciate her willingness to take on the extras. Thank you, Amanda.”

“Darcy saved us when our sitter cancelled days before we left for vacation. She took very good care of our cat and went above and beyond keeping us updated on everything. I would recommend her to anyone needing their pets cared for!”

“Patsy was super helpful and most of all reassuring with our cat while we were gone. Leela isn’t friendly with anyone but us, and we appreciated Patsy giving a general update on where she was hiding and basic and minimal tries to get her to socialize. We would recommend Patsy to anyone and will happily use her again.”

“Danielle was amazing. She came over several days before scheduled to introduce herself to my wife and I, and the kids (our two dogs). After that, she came exactly on time each day and spent time interacting with both our elderly dogs. We was very impressed with her.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for my friends and family for about 2 years! I also have two dogs and have always been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working at a doggy daycare for almost 2 years now, so I have plenty experience in pet care! I currently just work as a part time employee and part time student. I do get about a 1 to 2 hour break in-between shifts. I also am able to get up early in the mornings before heading to school and work. I don’t work Saturdays or Tuesdays, so those days I’m very flexible! I’m normally able to move my schedule around to try and be flexible, I just normally need 2 weeks in advance to fix that flexibility! I currently live in an apartment, but I walk my two dogs on my off days about every 2 hours. When I’m working I just take my dogs with me to work so they have plenty of run around room! I also use treat puzzles or squeaky toys to keep them entertained and going! I always enjoy taking pets out for rides in the car, I always ask first before taking any dog anywhere that isn’t mine. My older dog can be a little snappy, so I don’t bring him around any of the dogs I dog sit. My younger dog is very playful however and loves everyone! Shes always looking for another playmate. However I do always ask first before I ever bring her to meet other dogs or pets! I also believe in a lot of love and cuddles!! 💚 I will always make sure your pets are comfortable and safe and feel loved! When caring for others people’s pets I always ask upfront questions about what is okay and what is not. Every dog and pet is different and have completely different personalities. I will adhere to their comfortability and personality!
“Casey was a wonderful cat sitter who I would gladly use again. Great communication and she went above and beyond with making sure my cat area was clean. I would trust her with my kitties anytime!”
“Aaliyah was so great! She kept us in the loop, had great communication, and provided lots of updates and photos! I definitely would recommend her to care for your fur babies”

About: Hey I’m Hannah! My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. I do not currently offer daycare or sitting within my home, but I am available to come to you in the event that you book with me!
“Ashleigh has been amazing taking care of my baby. We are going on our 3rd recurring week and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I appreciate all the pictures she takes and the updates while she is with Bruno. I will definitely continue booking with her!”

“Absolutely fantastic care, attention, and communication. 10/10 would recommend. She managed to care for all 6 of our dogs - one of which needed special care as she is getting heartworm treatment, wranglin’ our 2 goats, and even stopping in to pet our cat. Could ask for more out of a pet sitter!”

“Haley has been great with my dog and cats while I’ve been away! Couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She came a day before to see what needed to be done for a drop-in and went beyond what was required. Also sent pictures and information each day. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had many years of animal care! I have been volunteering in animal shelters since I was 16 and have previously walked dogs in Chicago for a few months! Most recently, I was on a volunteer team that helped train rescued puppy litters. I am currently a dental student that does not have the time for a full time job, but will always make time for some furry friends! I live in a gated apartment community with grassy areas within. There are no other animals in my apartment. My area is very walkable and I would love to be able to do so with your pet!
“Asia took great care of my dog during drop-ins while I was away. Her communication was great. It was a breeze as a first time user of the Rover services. I would definitely recommend Asia and hope to work with her again.”

About: I’ve always loved animals growing up and so does my family, thats why I was the one to feed, bathe, and walk their pups over the years. I’m currently enrolled in an online real estate course, I work my study hours around walks, check-ins and pet sittings so I am available when you need me. I like to make every pet feel comfortable and safe by create a bond with them, making sure they have water, food, and physical exercise!
“This was our first time using Rover, and Tabitha made it such a wonderful experience! She came by beforehand for a meet and greet, took thoughtful notes to make sure our girls were well cared for. Even our most skittish pup warmed up to her right away! Tabitha was punctual, sent plenty of pictures, and kept us updated throughout the visit. We’d be happy to book with her again in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Rock
I am so grateful to have found a sitter like Jayce. She accepted my unusual request of watching my pet bunny and she was absolutely amazing with him. She is responsive and professional, and I feel very comfortable with her in our home. She has been great with our dog as well. I highly recommend Jayce if you are looking for someone to take good care of your pet(s).

Cheyenne did a phenomenal job taking care of my babies while we were on vacation. She was extremely timely, neat, organized, professional and absolutely amazing with my loves. She gave the dogs and cat so much attention and care and made sure they got their exercise. She even helped Lt. Dan (our amputatee puppy) how to climb up and down the stairs. Thank you, Cheyenne!!

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
