My dad is a veterinarian and I grew up being around all sorts of animals. I have worked at a few different animal hospitals and spent several years at a dog daycare, pet-sitting off and on over the years. For a long time I had two of the greatest canine companions, Windy (a Jack Russel) and Luna (corgi mix). They have sinced passed, and so I really appreciate getting a chance to be around other doggos. I have a pretty flexible schedule and am willing to do drop ins, walks, and overnight stays (at your home, I have a territorial cat at my home :)). My schedule is very open and flexible. I do not have any other jobs currently and am utilizing my savings until I find an income that aligns with my personality and values. I would love to do pet care full time. About: The oldest of 3, I took lead in training all our dogs growing up. Getting better as I grew up, in recent years I've had the most experience w/ both elderly pups and puppies. I can't wait to meet you and your special babies! I live and work full time in Downtown LR, so you can rest assured that i'll always be close by in case of an emergency. I like being active on the weekends, I take my kittens out in their backpack carrier and walk the downtown streets every chance I get. My mountain of toys and climbing gear is no match for the energy levels of 2 sibling kittens. My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. I do not currently offer daycare or sitting within my home, but I am available to come to you in the event that you book with me!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
