My goal is to make sure your dog (or cat) has the best time possible while you’re away so that you can have a worry-free, guilt-free trip while enjoying frequent and detailed updates, photos and videos. My summary of services and rates are at the end of this section - your final charge may be different from the initial Rover estimate. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with several years of experience working in emergency, shelter, specialty and primary care settings. I have fostered dogs for the rescue Stray Animal Adoption Program. I have been pet-sitting for friends, family, coworkers and Rover clients for over a decade. I treat each pet as if it were my own and go above & beyond to give them the best care possible. I am transitioning to a different career so I have some flexibility while I am in school I am very comfortable with routine pet sitting (feeding, walking, brushing, playing) as well as more involved care including administering medications, caring for special needs animals (geriatric, paraplegic, deaf/blind, behavior issues etc) and for pets recovering from surgery or illness. SERVICES AND RATES Drop-in visits and dog walks: 30 mins: $25 Additional pet: $3 60 mins: $35 Additional pet: $6 House-sits: $70per night (see further details below) Walks and visits are scheduled within a two-hour window and that window can be determined by you. Windows are as follows: Morning 9:00 am to 11:00 am Mid-day 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Afternoon 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Evening 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm *Please note that I do everything in my power to stick to the designated windows, but sometimes life interferes and delays may occur. I will keep you updated if this happens. Thank you in advance for your patience during these situations* DROP-IN VISITS Dogs: This is when a dog doesn’t need a full walk, but just needs to be let out briefly to potty, fed/watered, spend some time playing with them, etc. A 60 min visit will include a full walk. Cats: Feeding/watering, litter box cleaning, playtime Pocket pets and exotics: I also have some experience with birds and exotic pets such as rabbits, ferrets, fish and birds. Visits will include feeding, watering, and any habitat refreshing needed. I am happy to give them some time to stretch their legs or wings if they are accustomed to play time outside their enclosure and trained to easily go back inside their enclosure. DOG WALKS This is when a dog requires JUST a walk and no other care. If other tasks are needed - please book a drop-in visit. Otherwise, the duration of the walk will be shortened accordingly in order to complete other requested care OVERNIGHT HOUSE-SITTING I would bring an overnight bag and sleep at your home. My intention would be to continue your pet’s schedule as you do. I am completely okay with pets sleeping next to me. I will never have anyone else over without prior permission. I stay within privacy boundaries. I can take care of small tasks such as watering plants, bringing mail/packages inside etc -Overnight house-sitting is 70$ per night - that counts as ~5pm to ~9AM the next morning - so includes dinner, an evening walk, staying overnight, breakfast, and a morning walk. -I can return for one 30 minute mid-day check-in, feeding if needed, and walk for an additional $14 -If you require me to stay there for an extended time (upto two hrs prior to 5 pm or after 9 AM), it will cost an additional $20 per extension. -If you require me to stay there the whole time that you’re away, aside from a few brief periods not longer than 2-3 hrs, the cost is $140 per 24 hrs. In this case, the mid-day walk(s) etc is included. These rates are for a maximum of two pets. Additional pets will be charged extra.
