“Josh has done an amazing job with our senior dog who has sight and hearing issues. He was always very responsive to our dog’s needs and took great care to let me know how things were going. Josh is a great Rover care-giver! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend and will use again in the future!”

“Travis went over and above what we expected! He was super patient with our shy pup and was able to accommodate our last minute request. We definitely plan to use him again in the future.”

“This is the second time Bobbi took care of dog, Lita and just like the first, she is super wonderful! She is quick with getting back to you and gives great updates on how your dog is doing! Definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Monica is very professional! She showed up exactly when she said she would and took extra care to make sure our pups got their exercise. And we found the house just how we left it. I hope she’ll sit for us again!”

“We have a cat that tends to hide from strangers but on day one after Sara was visiting came out from hiding and was social during the other visits for the week. She sent daily updates and pictures at the end of each visit of our girls being social and being helpful. When I needed to communicate with her she responded back in a quickly manner. Toward the end of the week one of the automatic feeders we have decided to go offline so she stayed and was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue while we were away which was greatly appreciated so she could breakfast the next morning. We are booking her again for a future visit when we have an upcoming vacation trip out of town.”

“We are so happy to have found Jenny to care for our dogs while we’re away! She is very punctual and communicative. We loved receiving pictures of our fur babies from her every time she visited. She is very friendly and warm. Our dogs, who are normally wary of new people, both fell in love with her instantly. She didn’t even seem to mind that they are a little naughty and like to jump up on people when they first come in. We will definitely be requesting Jenny again in the future. Even when her whole neighborhood flooded while we were gone, she was putting on her boots and ready to WALK to our house to check in on our doggos. So even in a natural disaster, you can depend on Jenny to be there for your animals while you’re away.”

“We booked Jadira for a second time, since we had a good experience the first time, and highly recommend her. She is reliable, consistent, and my dog really enjoys her company. I am so appreciative of her accepting a last minute request. She takes a lot of photos and videos and keeps you updated throughout the day. 🙂 My dog is nervous around strangers and she took to her right away.”

“Janet was so good with my modge podge of pups while I was away! I am extremely attached to my dogs so being away from them for so long is very hard, but knowing that they were being well taken care of puts me at ease. Thank you so much Janet!”

“Stacy did a great job for us with stopping in to let our dogs out when we had an overnight away. She sent pics & an update each time, made sure they got their meds correctly at night & left everything closed up & secure when she left. I hope she will consider watching our dogs again because we would love to have her!”

“We love having Briana pet sit for our two kitties while we are away. We are confident that they are being well cared for. She is very accommodating and great at taking care of our pets. Thank you Briana!”

“Chase and Jessica really came through for us regardless of the short notice and length of time we needed care for our cats. They followed my instructions and keep our cats on their usual routine while we were away.”

“Briana and Ben are phenomenal. The pay attention to detail and really take the time to care for your pets. Briana and Ben recently started stopping by to help us with our puppy during lunch hours. They would assist with any clean up, feeding and play. Giving our boy some love and attention between his naps. We will always be grateful for their hard work, continue working with them and recommending them to others!”

“Lauren was unbelievably kind and so professional! Each visit was prompt and gave us reassurance that our boys were taken care of. We are so grateful we found Lauren and will forever be using her services for our boys!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Chute
Since I was a first time customer, I really enjoyed the meet and greet beforehand. I have 3 cats, two kittens and a senior. The senior cat became ill 2 1/2 weeks before our scheduled sitter visits. He required a few medications and 1:1 time with feedings. Contacted the sitter, explained the situation and she never hesitated. She arrived twice daily on time and went above and beyond to not only take excellent care of the kittens, but also gave my senior cat his medicine and spent extra time making sure he ate. I always received updates with every visit and lots of pictures! My cats had excellent care ! Thank you so much, Monica💕🐾💕

Josh was great. He took the extra time through meet and greet to learn about Boone and his quirks. He made sure Boone was comfortable with him and provided extra training while out and about to keep his attention. Josh provided comments and photos about their daily visits which gave me great comfort that Boone was well cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
