“Thank you again for dropping in to visit, walk and snuggle Titus while we were out of town! We all appreciate the photos of Titus enjoying his time when you are around!”

“It was such a pleasure working with Bobbi! She is a very good communicator, and graciously pivoted when our travel plans changed. Both dogs had great care from her and we will definitely be working with her again!”

“Travis came in as promised and sent me photos of my little guy Milo. Now that I’m working on leaving my puppy home alone it was great to have that peace of mind and Travis came super prepared with extra items for emergencies. Great sitter and Milo seemed to have fun!”

“It was so comforting knowing our two dogs were in good hands while we were enjoying our sons wedding! I liked the updates on each of the 3 drop in visits Jenny sent. I will definitely request Jenny again in the future.”

About: I currently have one dog at home, and he loves to have friends during the day. He is an Aussie-doodle, and is very playful. He is almost 6 years old. I am excited to offer care for other pets in my home. Your pet will be loved just as much as Tracker while they are with me. I am patient with all animals and have been around them my entire life. I am able to take care of puppies as well as senior dogs as well. I have had a lot of practice with giving medications for dogs. I will ensure that your animals needs are met anytime they are within my home. I am more than happy to send updates and pictures as often as you would like so you know how they are adjusting and doing. I work from home and I am able to watch and play with animals during the day and after work. Our yard is fenced in and has a large backyard to play in. I have three girls that I bring to school from 715-8am and then pick them up from 230-330. On the weekends I am available the entire day as I do not work weekends. I have a large fenced in yard. Anytime the animals are outside they gate will be shut. I will also endure any small animals are on a leash as they are outside so they are watched after. During the day, the animals will be within eye sight as I work upstairs.
“Josh does a fantastic job watching Aspen. He always makes sure she enjoys his company and that she gets energy out. Josh also goes above and beyond, leaving detailed notes about his visits and takes plenty of pictures. I would highly recommend Josh to care for your dog.”

“Stacy is awesome with our boys! We have 2 senior cats, one on a special diet. She does a great job with taking care of their needs. She takes extra time to give them the attention they need when we are away. They are relaxed and happy when we get home from a weekend away. We will definitely keep having Stacy care for them. We know they are in good hands with her!”
About: I very much enjoy taking care of animals on my free time! I have over 8 years of experience with dog and cat sitting! I also have worked at a daycare and boarding facility to meet the needs to pets that come to stay and play! I have an open schedule to provide sitting for your pet! I currently have one young beagle who lives with me! And I know I can make time to help others who have pets that may have a busy schedule! I am accommodating for your pets needs and will provide caring and fun experience for your pet! I love to reward your pet for good behavior and to connect a stronger relationship with your pet!

About: Available for doggy day care as well as overnight and long term boarding in our home. Experienced in taking care of cats, dogs, and small animals of all ages and needs. My partner and I have owned and sat several dogs and cats for the past 20 years. I will take care of your pets like they are my own, and will thoroughly follow any instructions provided for their care. I am able to take dogs on walks as much as needed and am close to both the Appleton and Kaukauna dog parks. I currently own 3 small dogs and 2 cats, 4 of which are rescues. I live in a quiet area of Kaukauna and am available most nights and weekends. Hope to hear from you! I work from home at least 2 days per week and my fiancée works from home full time. We do not work weekends. It’s common for us to have visiting dogs hanging in our home offices with us during their stay meaning your dog will get lots of attention from us! We make sure to monitor any visiting dogs multiple times per day, provide separation with multiple gates in our home when needed, always watch during feeding times, and provide regular updates on how your dog is doing with photos.
About: As a long time owner of dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles I have the skills, patience, and experience to safely and lovingly watch over your fur friend/s. Being around all the pets especially dogs has always been a natural passion of mine. As much of a service this is for you and your dog, it is also very much beneficial to my own health and well being. I have learned over the years that dogs respond very well to my voice, commands, and body language. A lot of love, care, and compassion to give. I have an open schedule and availability with flexibility to meet any requests! Monday-Sunday. Mornings, Afternoons, or Evenings. I look forward to being a helping hand in enhancing the lifespan and overall well being of your best friend :) My current daily routine and schedule is in need of dog walking and pet sitting. I am focusing on pet care and curating a more pet filled lifestyle. Although I will not be using my own home for pet care services, I can guarantee that the level of care given will be treated as if it were my own.
“Chase and Jessica really came through for us regardless of the short notice and length of time we needed care for our cats. They followed my instructions and keep our cats on their usual routine while we were away.”
About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.
About: If your smaller non-shedding dog (up to 40 lbs) does not care for other pets, I'm your sitter! There are no other pets in my house, and I specialize in dogs who do not like other animals. I have owned and loved dogs my entire adult life. In retirement I've chosen not to own one, but I miss those little guys so much and would love to love on your precious pet. I am retired and can fully care for your smaller (up to 40#), potty-trained, non-shedding dog. On weekends in the summer I may talk to you about your friend joining me at my camper. I will provide care for your smaller non-shedding dog without other animals in my home. Perfect for those cuddlers who would rather not have competition for my attention!
“Jessy has been amazing with our girls! She has great communication with us and we know we can count on her with our fur babies. We are looking forward to our on-going relationship!”

About: I had a dog and cats growing up but as an adult I rescued a German Shephard Mix named Jaxon. I learned a lot just taking care of him but I got a job at Wags and Whiskers Pet Resort and worked with a wide variety of dogs from small to large and a range of behaviors. I feel like working with dogs is a gift I got from God and I'm able to work well with them and like them more than most humans. I'm caring and compassionate and always do what's best for the dog. I can provide treats for the dogs based on if there are allergies or not and can take good pictures of the dogs as I have experience doing it at the pet resort and could send you them while you are away from them! I work during the day during the week but nights and weekends I will be free to stop in and check on your dog or whatever you need. I cannot have any more animals where I live since I live in an apartment but would be able to at the customer's home. My dog has a kennel at home for when I'm gone, he feels safer in there with the noise from the apartment building. We play in the apartment and outside and go on long walks and hikes often!
“Lyndsey was extremely attentive to my pups, especially my puppy who hadn’t been home without either parent before. She was very patient and communicated well with me!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was 6 and had to put in my time taking care of the dogs while the parents were out of town. In high school, I volunteered at the human society as a dog walker and helped feed/play with the animals up for adoption. I love spending time with pets and making them feel happy and fulfilled! I have a dog of my own and love taking care of others! I am currently in nurse anesthesia school so I have time early in the mornings or in the afternoon/night time. Weekends are usually pretty open! Let me know what works best for your animal and what their needs are. I will do my best to accommodate any needs and help keep your pals happy and healthy!
About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and started walking dogs when I was 11 years old. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, and many other pets of my own. I am comfortable with pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, including senior pets, rescues, and shy animals who need extra patience and care. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love building trust with each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is my full-time and only job, so I’m able to offer flexible scheduling, dependable communication, and plenty of attention for your pets. I’m typically available all days of the week, including daytime hours, with occasional exceptions depending on scheduling and personal appointments. I truly love what I do and treat every pet as if they were my own. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. During drop-in visits, I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level while providing plenty of care, affection, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, meals, medications if needed, and cleanup. I understand that trust is incredibly important when someone is caring for both your pets and your home, so I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive to details. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Combined Locks
Travis came in as promised and sent me photos of my little guy Milo. Now that I’m working on leaving my puppy home alone it was great to have that peace of mind and Travis came super prepared with extra items for emergencies. Great sitter and Milo seemed to have fun!

This was our first experience using Rover.com and Josh. We were in need of someone to come and take our dog out before bedtime every day for two weeks. We were aware that due to the fact it was later in the day (10:30), winter, and we live a couple of miles out of town, that it might be difficult to find someone Josh came to an initial visit a week or so prior to meet our pet and become familiar with our situation. We could not have been more pleased with promptness, care, and politeness of Josh. Josh was gentle, spoke with, and assured Walter of what was expected. He arrived within a minute of the expected outing. We would definitely use Josh in the future. Thanks, Josh.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
