Pet care makes up the majority of my working day. I try to be 100% present for each pet I take care of since this is my job and animals always deserve my full attention. I share my home with 1 cat (Skully) and 1 dog (Vito), and of course, my husband. My pets are laid back and Vito loves meeting new doggy friends.

When I care for an animal in my client’s home I try to stick to the pet’s feeding and exercise schedule as best I can. I feel like giving the animals pets or playtime if they want it, is just as important as the basics like feeding. My goal is to keep your pet’s stress level minimal. It’s hard enough for them when you’re gone.

I appreciate it when clients tell me about their pets personality. I like to know what kinds of things make their pet happy, and what bothers them. It helps to know if dogs get along with other dogs (so I know when we are waking). I also like to know if they are friendly to strangers and if they have any weird quirks like chasing cars.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks! It’s a great adventure for both of us. If a pet seems anxious or bored, I try my hardest to engage them in their favorite activity. I really want to make the time they spend with me enjoyable.

I strive to make the animals in my care happy and comfortable. You can breathe a sigh of relief when I’m the one taking care of your fur children. I’ve had all types of animals myself and have worked at an animal shelter. Currently I have 1 cat and 1 dog. At one time I had horses, goats, pigs, and chickens to care for. Pets are like little angels, so pure and honest. They just want to please us. It makes me happy to return the favor.

Stacy provided great care for our two dogs. My older dog developed a hot spot while we were gone and Stacy went above and beyond to care for her. She even brought her own cone to use to stop the licking. She kept the house tidy and clean, brought in our mail and even did some light plant watering. And the pups were happy which is the most important part. I would define my recommend her.

Stacy was perfect for Luna! We were totally at ease with her staying with our baby and she provided constant updates. Very very pleased and would absolutely recommend Stacy!
She did great, went into my house, let the dog out and played with him when I couldnt.
