About: I’ve spent several years providing reliable, compassionate care for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior pets who need a gentler touch, I tailor my approach to each animal’s unique needs. My experience includes daily walks, feeding routines, medication administration, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection to keep pets happy and relaxed while their families are away. I focus on creating a safe, calm environment so every pet feels comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my weekly rhythm, especially since I work from home three days a week. On those WFH days, I’m able to offer flexible, consistent attention—perfect for pets who enjoy companionship, regular check‑ins, or a steady routine. I build feeding times, walks or play sessions, potty breaks, and general wellness checks around my work blocks, making sure pets get the care and interaction they need throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I plan visits intentionally to keep each pet’s routine stable. Whether it’s morning care, midday enrichment, or evening check‑ins, I make sure every pet gets predictable, comforting attention. Because I’m used to balancing a hybrid schedule with pet responsibilities, I’m very organized and reliable about maintaining consistent care all week long. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine, environment, and comfort exactly the way they’re used to. I follow the owner’s instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play preferences, medication needs, and any household rules—so pets feel secure and stress‑free. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, whether they need extra play, quiet companionship, or a slow, gentle approach. I keep the home tidy and respectful, making sure food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes or potty routines are maintained, and any messes are handled right away. I also pay attention to small details like closing gates, locking doors, turning lights on or off as requested, and keeping the home feeling lived‑in and safe. Throughout the stay, I send updates and photos so owners always know how their pets are doing.
About: I’ve gained experience working at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included supervising group play, monitoring behavior, assisting with medication administration, feeding, cleaning, handling dogs safely, and using de-escalation techniques when pets became anxious or overstimulated. In addition to my professional experience, I have provided overnight care, drop-in visits, and walks for both dogs and cats. I am committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience as a dog attendant at a dog daycare/boarding center! I have cared for both large and small dogs, cats, and fish! I am very flexible with time for your pets, all I ask is for you to let me know at least a day in advance for booking:) I treat every pet as if they were my own. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and responsive throughout every booking. I love sending lots of photos/videos, and leave a report card as well!
“Bobbie was a great dog sitter and kept up great communication. They are like my children, so the right sitter was very important to me. She took great care of them even when Mojito was being temperamental one night. She sent frequent updates and pictures. I highly recommend her and would use her next time. Dogs were in great shape and happy when I got home.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was five years old, my family got a dog named Midnite, and taking care of him is what first made me realize how much I love being around animals. As a kid, I volunteered at a local dog groomer for two years, where I got experience helping out and learning how to work with dogs of all different personalities. More recently, I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends and have also helped take care of their cats. I’ve even had experience caring for senior pets, including a German Shepherd and senior cat who needed regular medications. All of these experiences have helped me become more comfortable, patient, and confident when caring for animals. I am currently working full time from home. This gives me time to walk, play, and cuddle animals who need some attention. I also have reliable transportation and a love of enjoying the outdoors. I have extensive experience taking care of cats and dogs in their owners homes. Making sure they have access to water, are fed, medications are administered, and they are comfortable and happy. I also have experience walking dogs who are great on the leash and some who pull.
About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.
“Kristy was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I first contacted her, she was incredibly responsive and communicative. Before my trip, she came to my home to meet my dogs, and I immediately knew she was the perfect fit. My dogs are truly family to me, so finding someone I trust is extremely important. Throughout my time away, Kristy sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my fur babies were happy and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and treated them as if they were her own. When I returned home, my house was clean and my dogs were relaxed, happy, and obviously very well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Kristy to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾💕”

About: If your smaller non-shedding dog (up to 40 lbs) does not care for other pets, I'm your sitter! There are no other pets in my house, and I specialize in dogs who do not like other animals. I have owned and loved dogs my entire adult life. In retirement I've chosen not to own one, but I miss those little guys so much and would love to love on your precious pet. I am retired and can fully care for your smaller (up to 40#), potty-trained, non-shedding dog. On weekends in the summer I may talk to you about your friend joining me at my camper. I will provide care for your smaller non-shedding dog without other animals in my home. Perfect for those cuddlers who would rather not have competition for my attention!
About: I’ve been volunteering and caring for cats and dogs since I was eleven years old. I am knowledgable in pet CPR and first aid. I’ve had pets of my own my entire life, including 3 dogs, 4 cats, as well as chickens. I’ve cared for large and small dogs as well as cats. I am experienced in administering medicine to both cats and dogs. I’ve cared for everything from young kittens to elderly dogs. I have multiple long-time returning clients currently. I’m currently a student and have a part time job, so I have mostly evening and weekend availability during the school year. In the summer I usually work in the afternoon into the evenings, so I’m available mornings, after 7-8 in the evening, and most afternoons. I am available to stay over if desired most weekends and weekdays in the summer. My mother also works as my backup when my schedule gets hairy or in emergencies so your pets will always have someone to ensure their wellbeing! I am comfortable letting dogs out in the yard or walking them on a leash depending on the pet and personal situation. I am not currently offering services in my own home.
“Anna did a wonderful job! My kitty is shy and Anna was even able to pet her once in a while-which is huge for my kitty! Anna was also able to house sit for us, so Kitty wasn’t home alone at night while we gone. Great experience for us. I will be hiring her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Chute
Stacy provided great care for our two dogs. My older dog developed a hot spot while we were gone and Stacy went above and beyond to care for her. She even brought her own cone to use to stop the licking. She kept the house tidy and clean, brought in our mail and even did some light plant watering. And the pups were happy which is the most important part. I would define my recommend her.

Aisha was so thoughtful and intentional with the way she took care of our pups and we are so appreciative of her time. I also really appreciated the pictures and updates I got throughout her stay as well. I could tell that my dogs were happy and well cared for and that helped me relax and enjoy my trip.

FAQs for House Sitting - Little Chute
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Little Chute on Rover is $38.25 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 379 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Little Chute. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Little Chute walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Little Chute maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Little Chute choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
