They tidied up tracked litter, cleaned food bowls, and kept our boys good company. They even brought in mail, and took care of a beeping smoke alarm for us. About: Since my first dog at 11, I have not gone a year without having at least one in my life. From Pit Bulls to Chihuahuas, Rhodesian Ridgebacks to Cocker Spaniels, and currently a Labrador Retriever, I have experience with a variety of temperaments and needs. From puppyhood energy and slowing seniors, I have cared for dogs throughout their various stages of life. I homeschool my three kids, so my schedule is very flexible. With no morning rush or afternoon school pickups, I am able to accommodate a lot of different needs. I have a fenced and secure yard as well as a fenced pool area. Having dogs their entire lives, my children (ages 7, 9, 12) do know about dog safety and cues, however, all dogs that visit us must be kid-friendly. (My children would never be left unsupervised with a dog but would provide lots of play and cuddles when wanted.) We also have a Labrador Retreiver, Charlie, who loves having other dogs here. He is still pretty young, so he is happily crate-trained when we leave and at night. I love to get out for a walk everyday and would definitely include your pup if desired.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and started pet sitting at 12 with my neighbors’ lab puppy and senior shih tzu—both with detailed routines and special needs. Since then, I’ve worked with pets of all ages and sizes, including puppies and kitties, seniors, and those with disabilities. I attend school from 8-3 and work a part-time job on weekends early in the morning but besides that i’m available all other times including overnight visits and am willing to make as many visits as needed. I have a dog of my own and my mother previously owned her own pet sitting business. I helped her with her business in the past, so I've cared for dogs (as well as cats, birds, etc.) of all breeds and ages. I also have experience administering shots and oral medications to dogs, as my dog has diabetes. Additionally, my dog is reactive, so I'm comfortable around similar animals. I love all kinds of animals and would love to talk more about looking after your furry friends. I recently left my government job so I currently have full availability. I can take dogs on walks, to the dog park, or anywhere else suitable for animals. Safety is my number one priority when it comes to pets. I want to keep your pet safe, as well as others who may encounter your pet when I'm watching them. As a result, I'd like to know about any aggression or reactive behavior so I know how to handle situations if your pet encounters other people or animals on a walk or otherwise. Additionally, I do not like using retractable leashes on dogs. If you'd like me to care for your dog, please ensure you can provide something other than a retractable leash.
