“Lina is great with Morgan! He has just started with her and we can tell he likes her. He is happy to see her and her puppies every morning. She reports his daily activities (eating, potty, playtime). She sends photos and videos and texts us updates through out the day. It's great to see how he is doing through the day! When we pick him up he falls asleep in the car on the way home, we know he has had a good day!! We are Very happy with Lina!”
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a very young child and have two of my own today. Whether it was family or neighbors I’ve always been the go-to for pet sitting of any kind, and I hope I get the chance to show your pup or kitty the love they deserve too. I attend university online, so my schedule is very flexible and I have the ability to make as many trips as necessary a day to care for your pet, and of course I’m happy to let them sleep on my lap while I work on papers. Gaining a pets trust is important to me so I never push them beyond their comfort zone, and wait for them to choose to warm up to me.
“Skye is so wonderful! We really appreciate her reliability, communication, and flexibility. Our dog is always calm coming back from her house as she gets all of her playtime there! Makes it so easy for us to go out knowing our dog is in the best hands!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our boy! He got toys he loved and plenty of playtime and affection and accommodated his allergies and needs. It was his first time with a sitter and couldn't have gone better.”

“Jennifer was very nice and was welcomjng. Pete obviously enjoyed himslef. Jennifer was great at sending us pictures and at giving full details of Pete's stay. Will reuse again and again. We recommend her highly!”

“Winston enjoyed another couple of doggie daycare days at Nicole & Bryans's this week and even got to spend some time with their delightful boys and take a nap on Nicole's lap. It is so reassuring to know that Winston is treated like one of the family and not bored and lonely when we are at work! ”

About: I have been talking caring for pets since I was young and since she was born and have 7 years of hands-on experience with my own dog. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and we always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they’re with us. I’m currently working working from 7am-5pm and my daughter had school but we will be more free over the summer! And we are completely free over the weekends and ready for your pups! I have a fenced one-acre yard that’s perfect for dogs to safely play and explore. I also have a friendly, medium-sized dog of my own who is spayed and very gentle around other pets. I always supervise playtime, provide plenty of attention, and make sure every pet feels at home in a safe and caring environment.

“I have only left my fur baby with 3 people in the last 5 years and Abigail is the 4th...I trust Abigail with Madyson... Madyson had love and attention not only from Abigail and Abigails daughter, but also from Abigails fur babies... I loved not only the updates about how Madyson was doing but also the pictures that Abigail sent to me... This was the first day, of I hope many days, that Madyson will stay with Abigail and play with her new friends... Thank you Abigail for giving me the peace of mind knowing that Madyson is loved and cared for when I am away and she is with you!”

“Amazing! This is the second time Yusel has cared for my dog. She is very accommodating and I highly recommend her! My dog enjoys her time at Yusel’s and has fun playing with her dog, Bella, as seen through photos provided :)”

“My dog, Harlan, is a rescue we've had for a year. We recently had an event at our house that included over 30 adults and children who he has never met. I decided a pet sitter. Was a good option. Harlan was very nervous when we got to Christopher's house., but Christopher gained his trust quickly. A feat still not accomplished by friends Harlan knows well. Would definitely recommend.”

“Glory is amazing, this is the second time my baby Yoda has stay with her. The moment we pull to her place his tail start wagging, he loves her. I would recommend her 1000% she is the best. Thank you so much for loving and caring for my baby.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
