Dog Walkers in Limerick, ME

About: I have taken care of a variety of pets my entire life, ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits and other small rodents. I have an open spare room which I use for separate housing if needed for case by case bases. I have three cats and a dog of my own that are spoiled beyond measure but the spare room comes in handy for new friends to be separated. I have worked as a waitress for the last 5 years but after suffering a shoulder injury I am currently looking for opportunities to work from home. I am currently only working one day or two out of the week, meaning I have just about complete open availability. I do my best to provide a safe environment for all of the pets I chose to bring into my home. I do have camera set up in each of my hall ways and living room where I can watch what my pets are doing while I am awhile. There are few times, if any, when I am not one on one with the animal during their time staying with me unless they personally prefer space but I try and keep an eye or camera on them at all times. Plenty of appropriate toys and treats will be provided. There is a closed off spare room provided for pets that need to be kept separate, as needed case by case. I have a medium sized yard that is not fenced in. For dog cases where appropriate I will bring pet to dog park that is close by. Mainly will be walked on leash on side streets and around the yard. Your pet will be treated as one of my own. I do want to mention 2 flights of stairs are required to get in to the building so while I’ll do my best to accommodate all animals, ones who struggle with stairs and need frequent yard time need to know.

About: I have a beautiful cat named Lila now and two guinea pigs. I have a lot of experience with pets and love animals. I have pet sat for friends and family. I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I do enjoy taking photos, so I will send lots of pictures of your fury friend while you’re away. I’m available and can work pet care around my daily and weekly schedule. I’m in between jobs right now so I have a lot of flexibility. I will make sure to watch the animal as if it's my own. I know how important your pet is to you. I will follow any rules given to me regarding your pet. I will also make sure to clean up any messes the pet makes and leave the space as clean as I got there.

About: I recently had to say goodbye to my 8 year old black lab due to cancer. I am looking to spend some time helping others with their pet care. As a pet owner I understand how stressful time away can be due to missing your animal. Let me make your work day, work trip or vacation a little easier. I work full-time from home so I have flexibility to pet sit in your home, be available for walks or potty breaks, etc. During my free weekends I am available to stay with your pet. I am able to care for your pets in your home to make them feel safe and comfortable. This helps to avoid transportation or any settling in period.

About: My family has had dogs, cats, and rabbits since I was a child. I have been pet sitting on and off for several years. I’ve been fortunate enough to help train my friend’s dogs (the bernadoodle and lab mix in the pictures). By working as a guide at a remote lodge for the last 10 years, I am well versed in caring for larger animals too, including horses, goats, pigs, and more. I’m happy to help care for some of the most important members of your family:) I currently work full time Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. I often travel to different parts of the New England on the weekends but am happy to care for pets on those days with 1-2 day notice. Whether your dog loves to snooze on the couch or play for hours on end, I will be there for their every need and wish! I currently work 4x10 hour days, and am fully available Thursdays, Saturday and Sundays. Schedule may be flexible for different days depending on the circumstance. I am usually available for last minute care requests as well! It's my primary goal to make sure your fur baby first and foremost feels safe and comfortable when I care for them. It can be stressful having someone new come into your space, so allowing time for slow introduction and bonding are very important. I want to be able to build trust and a loving bond with your pet, so both you and them know they're getting top quality care, love and affection from their new human friend.

We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

About: I have been assisting my Girlfriend with many of her clients when she can't take them.I am very attentive and enjoy playing with them. I will treat every animal if it were my own. I also continue my education on dog care so to provide the best experience for your dog. To add..I am also experienced with cats as well. Being older(61) I feel I am a responsible person that would make sure all my clients and their pets needs are met. I also respond to phone messages and emails promply to make sure you concerns are addressed as soon as possible. I am currently working full time but.I adjust my schedule to fit the needs of your pet. I can give potty breaks as much as needed as my girlfriend who has been dog sitting for a few years can also assist in that. I am very attentive to your pet. Love playing with and walking them as well as just chilling on the couch with them. I am also very attentive to their feeding needs and will follow strict instructions of owner.
