“Lauranne was absolutely wonderful with my dog. I received frequent updates and photos throughout the day, which put my mind at ease. I was especially impressed with their patience in dealing with his picky eating habits, which can be a challenge. It was so clear how much she cared for my dog, and I came home to a happy, tired pup. Highly recommend! Laurie is the best! I finally found a trustworthy, caring boarder! Thank you so much Laurie! I appreciate you! I will definitely get on your schedule for future getaways!”

“Great service, she took good care of our dog, she sent numerous pictures and even videos, we explained to Tiffany that our dog had never been around other dogs and she said it wouldn’t be no issue that she would help our dog get adjusted and she did just that, our dog had a great time and we would absolutely book again!”

“Zelda suffers from separation anxiety, but she quickly adjusted to Monica and the new surroundings and appeared to have had a relaxing and restful 3-day stay. Monica kept us well informed throughout the stay and sent photos of our happy dog.”

“I am sooo thankful for Caitlin. I've never boarded my 2yr old Boston Terrier, Chester. He is so energetic and can sometimes be too much for other dogs to be around. But Caitlin made him feel right at home and gave me updates while I was away. I think Chester was actually a little sad to leave. THANK YOU SO MUCH CAITLIN and to anyone reading this , no need to keep searching. Caitlin is your doggo's answer.”

“Rumi took great care of my Bernese mountain dog Flynn! He was in literal paradise, she sent updates with photos, she was very easy to get ahold of and communicate with, and made his entire stay so wonderful! We will for sure be using her services again!!”

“We were very nervous to leave our high energy guy with anyone but Katelyn & Nicholas were the perfect fit! The large yard and other companions kept Bo very busy and happy. They sent us daily updates with pictures and were promt to answer when we texted to check in. Katelyn & Nicholas took the best care of our boy!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and a firm believer of caring for someone’s baby as if they were my own! I have anxiety leaving my babies for work or vacations and will always be understanding and empathetic to you and your babies during that time! I do work a normal 9-5 throughout the week, as a STNA doing home health, but I have Thursdays and Sundays off and available for all day help you may need! I’m also available for sitting overnight or multiple nights in your home or mine! I do have 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own but my doggos are big puppy lovers and love play dates! As an STNA, I am in people’s homes all day everyday and just as I’ve been trusted the last four years with loved ones in the form of the elderly I take care of, I can be trusted with your loved ones in the form of fur babies 🫶🏼 I have a fenced in yard and two playful doggos always looking for play dates! As well as a puppy pool and plenty of toys that my doggos love to share! In your home, I love a good list of your pups routine and will stick to it to keep them happy and comfortable!
“Kaily and Matt were great!!! They bailed us out in a pinch by watching our two pugs. We received numerous photos and videos of their time away. Couldn’t be more thankful for the care our dogs received and the services Kaily and Matt provided!! Thanks”

“Katelynd did an amazing job watching our dog Kaylee. She was really nice to work with and sent us regular updates and pictures. Her farm is absolutely gorgeous and provided Kaylee with so much space to run around and play. She was so excited the moment we pulled up. There is no doubt we wouldn’t have Katelynd dog sit again!!”

“Hannah was so kind to accept a last minute reservation for our pup. She provided great updates and sent us photos to let us know he was doing great. We would highly recommend Hannah & Daniel!”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She really put my mind at ease during my trip. The pics and videos she sent along with the text updates were so awesome. I know my boys had fun and can’t wait to schedule with her again!”

“Keylor and Grace were very accommodating when I was running late and when I picked Molly up earlier than expected. They were gracious and kind and took very good care of our Frenchie. She had such a good time with the bigger dogs; she was sad at home without them.”

“Angellynn was absolutely great! She took wonderful care of my 8-year-old dog and treated her just like she was at home. Ginger loved all the attention she got from them. They played with her and loved her. I will definitely be taking Ginger to stay with Angellynn again. Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs since I was 13. My family had an Australian Blue Heeler, Irish Wolfhound, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Boxers. I currently have two Bernese Mountain Dogs who are the loves of my life! I have experience with dogs as small as Chihuahuas and large as my Berners. I spend a lot of time playing, training, and walking/hiking with the dogs I care for. I like to keep them engaged! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which gives me the ability to care for and play with my own dogs and your dogs. Dogs have improved my life immensely, and I try to repay the unconditional love by providing them with an awesome day, every day. I have a fenced in yard and two animal loving Bernese Mountain Dogs to keep your family happy and engaged. Juli is 4 years old and incredibly gentle with all living things. Cooper is 9 months old and definitely a big puppy. I also have room dividers/doggy gates if your pup needs space or time alone. We love going on walks and taking hikes in the surrounding parks, but I’m also intentional about taking time to calm down and relax (when needed)! I understand the importance of limiting exercise for puppies, especially growing large breed dogs, as well as making sure temperaments and play styles match with playmates!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
