About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover with dogs of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I offer dog sitting in my safe and welcoming home in Oxford, NC, where your pup will get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise. Whether your dog loves to run around, play fetch, or just relax and cuddle, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for like family. I also send lots of pictures and updates so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Creating a fun, clean, and safe environment for every pet is my top priority, and I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and companionship throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I’m able to accommodate pets close to my area easily and make their care a priority while keeping a consistent, calm, and loving environment. Providing a safe environment for pets is very important to me. I have a large yard where dogs can run, play, and get plenty of exercise while always being supervised and monitored closely. Inside my home, I keep a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, personality, and routines to make sure they stay happy, safe, and well cared for at all times.

Banjo LOVES his afternoon walks with Ashley! She picks him up and takes him for a walk around the neighborhood. He gets his exercise and gets to check out the neighborhood. We love using Rover and Ashley while we're at work. She sends us photos from their walks and Banjo's excited face says it all!

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

About: I've always had pets since I was a child, and my love for them has grown even more in my adulthood. My experience in pet care comes from having my own pets, caring for those of family and friends, and volunteering over the years. About: Hi there! My name is Hayley and I have an extreme love and passion for ALL animals! Since I was a baby and got my first cat at 6 weeks old, I have grown up in a household full of animals with everything from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, you name it, and those animals have taught me so much, enough that I want to give back to the local community and their animals! My specialties are with cats and dogs of any age, though if you have another animal in need of service, I am open to anything and ready to learn! Currently, I have two dogs (Jack Russells who are 2 and 8 yrs old) of my own that I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old. I have knowledge in feeding, medication management, daily exercise, enrichment activities such as tricks, routine care (bathing animals), hygiene maintenance, potty training, and as always, I strive to have strong, reliable communication with owners of your furry friends! I specialize in cats and dogs BUT if you are need of services for another animal, please dont hesitate to reach out as I am willing to help, learn whatever I need to, and give some extra love to your pet! AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th. Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ Mon-Sun: 8am-2:30pm (schedule varies but I will try my best to work something out with you!!) Meet and Greets: Scheduled meetings BEFORE desired sitting dates; I come to your home to get to know you, your fur babies, and the required schedule/rules. (I leave this up to the client's preference but I usually recommend it!) (CAN provide services before/after hours when requested!!) *AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th.* Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
