About: Hi! I’m a student at the University of Maine and a big animal lover. I have three cats back at home and experience watching small dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and making sure they’re happy and safe. I’m a student at UMaine and pet care fits well into my routine because I’m looking for flexible work. I’m able to plan my schedule around classes and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and time throughout the day. I provide care for pets in their own homes, where they are most comfortable and familiar with their environment. I have experience caring for pets in their homes and always follow their routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions closely. I prioritize safety, trust, and cleanliness, and make sure pets feel secure, well cared for, and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: I provide love and care to animals. While I don’t have professional experience, I do have personal experience with animals. Whether in or outside of my family I have provided care to animals in need most of my life and I enjoy it every time! I take my dog on walks just about everyday and get her plenty of outside time and indoor play time! I am also able to take care of her with food, water, and love! I show them love, care, and the provide necessities where it’s needed. Whether it’s walks, treats, or love, your dog will get it!

About: I grew up on a farm with horses, pigs, sheep, cows, a dog and a cat. I particpated at a young age taking care of them (feeding, brushing, removing manure). Throughout my life I have had personal pets as well as helped care for pets of family and friends. I currently work full-time remotely M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. I also have a 9 year old son. I am typically available weekday evenings after work and weekends. I have a runner that extends from the side entrance of my house to my detached garage with a partially fenced backyard. I live in a safe neighborhood and have great neighbors. Three of my neighbors on my street work for the police department.

I'm good with specialty care, as I've owned rats in the past for quite a few years! They require a very specific healthy diet/great air quality and require much more extensive care than people realize. They require expensive, careful care and planning, much more than your average pet. I've also had pet cats, dogs, mice, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and chickens in the past. My dream is to live on a farm someday and animals have always been a big part of my life. I know that ALL creatures are very sentient and feel just as deeply as we do, if not deeper. Animals are very intelligent creatures and often know and see things we do not! My environment here is laid back and I'm a very chilled out down to earth kind of person. I like to have everything set up for my pets I'm watching as soon as I get in the door. I'm very attentive and empathetic as well. I'm always sure to send regular updates and photos. I'm accommodating so just ask! Water change at least 2× a day. I like to make sure that they have their food and water station all set up, and their bed and toys set out right after they come in the door so they feel at home. I pick up on cues easily and most always know when to take them out. I also note care details down and keep everything in mind. I send updates regularly and lots of photos. I'm attentive and empathetic too! Having an animal next to me while I'm having family time makes my place feel cozy and homey ❤️ I always double check with the owner about what their pets can and can't have when I want to give snacks or extra treats, and I also have knowledge of what's okay to give them and not.

I've been around pets for most of my life and I have been a pet owner for years. I have been a professional Sitter and Boarder on Rover since August 2021. Through my time as a professional pet sitter and pet boarder I have taken care of many different breeds, such as Maltese, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Labradoodles, Pitbulls, Boxers, Labs, Beagles, pugs, etc. I have also gained invaluable experience taking care of young puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs with special needs. I can administer oral medications as well as lift and carry dogs up to 50 pounds. With every client I try to go above and beyond during the stay. As a fellow pet owner, I know that your pets are like family, so while they're in my care I'll treat them the same and make sure they are loved and cared for to the best of my ability. Also, because this is my full-time job, I am very flexible with drop-off/pick-up times and understand that they're often more of an estimate. I've taken dogs in as late as midnight, and have had them picked up at similar times. I try to work with the owner's schedule as best as I can, as long as I'm available. **I accept last minute requests, especially in cases of emergencies, as long as I'm available. I live in a very safe neighborhood, however my yard is not fenced, so any dogs will need to come with a leash and collar or harness. I have experience walking large breeds and am okay with some tugging. As I do live in an apartment building, and my apartment is on the second story, there are stairs going up to my apartment. With small to medium breeds, if your dog doesn't mind being picked up, I have no problem carrying them up and down the stairs during their stay. Your pet will be safe in my care, as I have the time to keep my eyes on them and make sure they're both happy and healthy during their stay with me. I will be able to follow the feeding schedule/routine that is given to me for the pet and I will never ever give any pet food (outside of what's packed for them) or treats without explicit permission from the owner first unless prior permission is given (such as treats being packed for the pet in my care).

I was the owner of a lab mix, a mini dachshund, many Dalmatians, and multiple cats. I’m comfortable with any animal usually, you could call me Pocahontas. I have many years of experience with all aspects of training puppies, including some doggie sign language for commands. I have connections and great resources to parks/areas to play outside and walk. I am available for any pet care needs. I have knowledge of taking care of animals with medical needs from assisting with walking, changing, medications, etc. could do some minor grooming but not certified.
