About: Hi! I’m a student at the University of Maine and a big animal lover. I have three cats back at home and experience watching small dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and making sure they’re happy and safe. I’m a student at UMaine and pet care fits well into my routine because I’m looking for flexible work. I’m able to plan my schedule around classes and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and time throughout the day. About: I grew up on a farm with horses, pigs, sheep, cows, a dog and a cat. I particpated at a young age taking care of them (feeding, brushing, removing manure). Throughout my life I have had personal pets as well as helped care for pets of family and friends. I currently work full-time remotely M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. I also have a 9 year old son. I am typically available weekday evenings after work and weekends. I have a runner that extends from the side entrance of my house to my detached garage with a partially fenced backyard. I live in a safe neighborhood and have great neighbors. Three of my neighbors on my street work for the police department.

About: I have 3 years experience working in vet med as well as daycare/boarding. I’ve worked with all kinds of sizes, breeds, and ages. I’m capable to administer meds and any other specifications your pets may need. I have two fur babies of my own; a 7 year old tuxedo cat and a 1 year old great pyr/golden retriever puppy. I work on a dairy farm so I’m available Sunday to Thursday afternoons and evenings. Friday and Saturday I have more flexibility on my days off. If you really need someone at 4am, I’m willing to make something work I am someone who will follow instructions exactly as I’m told and love to make your life easier. If there’s certain routines or commands, just let me know. I’m here to help you out in any way I can. I know with my own pets they have a schedule and certain ways they’re used to things being done and life can be challenging if they’re thrown off course.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve had pet ferrets and an American Foxhound dog that I cared for, and I currently help care for my roommates 2 cats, ages 3 and 8, a Savannah and a calico short hair. I am currently a dog sitter and walker for 3 dogs, all labs, ages 3, 13, and 14. I have experience with dogs who were recently post-op, puppies, and elderly. I believe all dogs deserve the best care, and especially deserve to be treated as your own when placed in the responsibility of your care! My schedule is flexible and built around pet care. During the fall and spring, I’m a full-time college student with classes typically between 8am–3pm, but I have availability between classes and dedicate time each day to pet visits and walks. In the summer, I work from 2pm–9pm, leaving mornings and late evenings open for care. I also regularly dog walk for a client Monday–Friday, so I’m experienced in fitting pet care into a consistent routine. My evenings and weekends are largely open, allowing for reliable and attentive care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm good with specialty care, as I've owned rats in the past for quite a few years! They require a very specific healthy diet/great air quality and require much more extensive care than people realize. They require expensive, careful care and planning, much more than your average pet. I've also had pet cats, dogs, mice, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and chickens in the past. My dream is to live on a farm someday and animals have always been a big part of my life. I know that ALL creatures are very sentient and feel just as deeply as we do, if not deeper. Animals are very intelligent creatures and often know and see things we do not! My environment here is laid back and I'm a very chilled out down to earth kind of person. I like to have everything set up for my pets I'm watching as soon as I get in the door. I'm very attentive and empathetic as well. I'm always sure to send regular updates and photos. I'm accommodating so just ask! Water change at least 2× a day. I like to make sure that they have their food and water station all set up, and their bed and toys set out right after they come in the door so they feel at home. I pick up on cues easily and most always know when to take them out. I also note care details down and keep everything in mind. I send updates regularly and lots of photos. I'm attentive and empathetic too! Having an animal next to me while I'm having family time makes my place feel cozy and homey ❤️ I always double check with the owner about what their pets can and can't have when I want to give snacks or extra treats, and I also have knowledge of what's okay to give them and not.
