About: Hi! I’m a student at the University of Maine and a big animal lover. I have three cats back at home and experience watching small dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and making sure they’re happy and safe. I’m a student at UMaine and pet care fits well into my routine because I’m looking for flexible work. I’m able to plan my schedule around classes and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and time throughout the day. I provide care for pets in their own homes, where they are most comfortable and familiar with their environment. I have experience caring for pets in their homes and always follow their routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions closely. I prioritize safety, trust, and cleanliness, and make sure pets feel secure, well cared for, and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: I grew up on a farm with horses, pigs, sheep, cows, a dog and a cat. I particpated at a young age taking care of them (feeding, brushing, removing manure). Throughout my life I have had personal pets as well as helped care for pets of family and friends. I currently work full-time remotely M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. I also have a 9 year old son. I am typically available weekday evenings after work and weekends. I have a runner that extends from the side entrance of my house to my detached garage with a partially fenced backyard. I live in a safe neighborhood and have great neighbors. Three of my neighbors on my street work for the police department.

Jazlynne took SUCH good care of our pets! She was even willing to take on a semi-potty trained young puppy, and all of our pets ADORED her! Left our home spotless, took care of all of the animals needs, and even was willing to take on an extra day last minute when our plane home got delayed. Absolutely plan on using her services again!

Sydney petsit in our home this past week, taking care of our cat and dog. She was incredibly responsive and sent sweet pictures of our pets throughout our trip. Our neighbors often pitch in to help with each other's pets, and Sydney coordinated with these neighbors to provide seamless care. Definitely will be working with Sydney again!

Stesha is a genuinely incredible person and sitter. We had a last minute trip out of the country and she literally got to us days before we left and provided such love and care and kindness for our little ones. Our dog is an anxious guy and Stesha treated him so kindly and gently, as was her treatment of our cat. We would absolutely be working with her again. 10/10.

This was our first time using Rover. We have an anxious puppy and weren’t sure how it would go. Jessica made several house visits ahead of time so Nieva could get to know her. Nieva was excited to see her and sad when her new friend left. We’ll definitely be using her in the future. I was able to relax knowing she was in good hands.

Elle was amazing. Very kind and patient with our rescue from a hoarding situation. Owen is very scared, all the time. But Elle worked with him and he would no longer run away when time to be leashed up to go outside, and took treats from her, too! Elle’s very patient and kind and was just what our little fur nuggets needed.

About: Hello, my name is Kristopher Vladyka and I'm located right by the Bangor airport. I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats, as well as smaller animals such as rodents. I've been around pets for most of my life and I have been a pet owner for years. I have been a professional Sitter and Boarder on Rover since August 2021. Through my time as a professional pet sitter and pet boarder I have taken care of many different breeds, such as Maltese, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Labradoodles, Pitbulls, Boxers, Labs, Beagles, pugs, etc. I have also gained invaluable experience taking care of young puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs with special needs. I can administer oral medications as well as lift and carry dogs up to 50 pounds. With every client I try to go above and beyond during the stay. You can expect good quality pictures of your lovely pet as well as detailed updates on how the stay is going. Your pet will always come first when they are in my care, and will always be prioritized during the stay. Their happiness and safety matter most to me. I also take emergency or same-day bookings if my schedule allows for it, so if something happens please shoot me a message and I will do my best to work with you! **If you have financial issues, my pricing can be negotiated. I do this for my love of animals first and foremost, and I want to help people who need it, so please don't hesitate to ask about pricing if you can't afford the listed price. I'm currently working as a Professional pet sitter and pet boarder full time, so I have the time and energy to dedicate to taking care of your pets. As a fellow pet owner, I know that your pets are like family, so while they're in my care I'll treat them the same and make sure they are loved and cared for to the best of my ability. Also, because this is my full-time job, I am very flexible with drop-off/pick-up times and understand that they're often more of an estimate. I've taken dogs in as late as midnight, and have had them picked up at similar times. I try to work with the owner's schedule as best as I can, as long as I'm available. **I accept last minute requests, especially in cases of emergencies, as long as I'm available. I live in a very safe neighborhood, however my yard is not fenced, so any dogs will need to come with a leash and collar or harness. I have experience walking large breeds and am okay with some tugging. As I do live in an apartment building, and my apartment is on the second story, there are stairs going up to my apartment. With small to medium breeds, if your dog doesn't mind being picked up, I have no problem carrying them up and down the stairs during their stay. Your pet will be safe in my care, as I have the time to keep my eyes on them and make sure they're both happy and healthy during their stay with me. I will be able to follow the feeding schedule/routine that is given to me for the pet and I will never ever give any pet food (outside of what's packed for them) or treats without explicit permission from the owner first unless prior permission is given (such as treats being packed for the pet in my care).

About: I have been taking care of dogs for 2 years now, starting with helping out with my family. But now I have been pet sitting for friends and family, and around 9 months ago I started working at a dog daycare, helping them out there! As a current nursing student, I am willing to work on a schedule that works for you and your pup! I am able to help anytime before or after my classes, and even in between! When it comes to safety, I am willing to do whatever is most comfortable for you and your pup. Whether this is crating your pup during the day or letting them out of leash outside!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I aim to give your animals the attention they need 24/7. I aim to give your pet my full attention on making them the happiest and most loved while you’re away! My dog inspired me to start this journey because she was my best friend and she sadly passed away of old age, I would love to be your trusted care taker and keep your pets the safest with me. You don’t have to think about it- your animal will be in the bestest of hands! I’m currently working part time over the summer, I am around the dates I have available. I can negotiate and work out anything to make it fit for you! I have one cat who is very friendly around others and minds her own business. I live in a very pet friendly environment so there is absolutely nothing to worry about for your pets safety. I’ll work towards your pets needs and keeping them safe while you’re away!

Glendon is obviously a figment of my imagination. I never leave my 17-year-old Teddy behind because he is my little world. It would take an exceptional person to meet my criteria, one whom I imagine to be caring and kind, one who would treat my dog like their own, who would be patient and have a sense of humor about the foibles of an old, spoiled dog. I’ve always imagined that person would be the only kind who could convince me to leave Teddy behind. A family medical emergency arose last week and I was needed to go help care for my grandchildren on a trip to Houston. Panic set in. What about Teddy?? I was desperate so I checked out two pet sitter sites. Rover and another. The other never followed up on my request. Rover brought me Glendon, the top sitter on the list. At the end of the lengthy meet and greet, I was actually anxious to have this guy take care of Teddy! And he turned out to be even better than I imagined. He stayed in frequent contact, sent me many photos and videos, managed to make my nervous dog calm and content. He met my changing needs by coming earlier than planned. When we got bumped from our flight home, he turned around in a snowstorm and returned to my house for an extra night so Teddy wouldn’t be alone and I wouldn’t have cause to worry. I can’t say enough good about Glendon, both as a person and as a dog lover. He’s the best. You will never regret hiring him!
