About: I’ve been known as a dog whisperer by family, dogs love me and I love dogs. I have raised 3 and owned 4 since the age of 12. I have grown a love for the animal and everything about them. Going on daily walks and making sure my pets always are paid attention too are my top priorities. Moving about to Maine I have found a love for cats the same I have for dogs. Cats were always misinterpreted in my family growing up. We never had one in the house and so I was hesitant in how I could live with 3 of them when moving out. That hesitation disappeared when I moved up here in 2024. I love cats as much as I do dogs now when I discovered they can be just as cuddly and playful, if not more, than dogs! Working part time my schedule is very flexible. Latest I’m available ranges each week. As long as I get some kind of message on what’s good for you I’m sure I can squeeze your pet in! I go off what the pet wants and how we can work around that so that I can provide my best care. Each dog is different so their dislikes and likes are something that needs to be expressed.

I’m a full time student, but I have a lot of free time in my schedule during the week and weekends. I love all dogs and work very well with them! About: I have cared for the dogs and cats of family members, friends and coworkers when needed, for years. I personally have a dog and cat. My dog is a sweet boy but he is reactive to other dogs. Before him I had never worked with/known a dog that has reactive tendencies. I have learned a lot over the last 7-8 years about reactivity, especially dogs being reactive towards other dogs. I have cared for as many as three dogs and three cats at a time including puppies and senior dogs. I currently work full time but have developed a good schedule for when I do check in/drop ins for those I pet sit for. If someone is out of town and leaving their pets at home for a check in/drop-in schedule I would typically drop in, in the morning before work, around lunch time, around dinner time and again before bed if the owner requests. I have recently cared for three dogs and a cat for almost two weeks for a coworker and this schedule worked well. I will adhere to any instructions that a pet owner provides. I will make sure that the animals are well cared for and report any concerns I may have for the pets while caring for them. Whether it is a drop in to let a dog out to go to the bathroom at lunch time, walking a dog, feeding the pets, etc.

I offer tailored care based on the pet’s unique needs, whether that’s medication, specific diets, or behavioral routines. Just like in my home care, I update the client regularly with pictures and reports, ensuring they are always in the loop.
About: I have experience working with rescues with severe behavioral problems, working at a doggy daycare and I own my own dog grooming business. I’m currently in school for animal behavior and getting my dog training certifications I create my own schedule since I own my own business so I am available at most times to be able to provide for others dogs as well My pups get frequent outside time for play and potty breaks. They get treats throughout the day and lots of training / mental stimulation. We work to keep a safe environment while being able to play hard.
About: As a pet lover for my entire life, I am very open to who I will take in. I have taken care of my family’s dogs and cats. As well as friends’ pets as well. Not just our small pets. I worked on my family farm in the middle of Maine near Dover-Foxcroft. That included Horses, chickens, occasionally some cows and donkeys. I would love to take care of your pets for whenever you need me to. Just give me any details about them. Medical, whether they are in heat, spayed or neutered. I will be sure to accommodate accordingly. You can contact me via email, call, or text. For those who need service at their home, I would gladly organize that with you as well. Small, medium and large pets are all welcomed. As for cancellations and early pickups, I will do my best to be as flexible as I can. As this is for the pet, not the money. ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and I’m a mom of a little boy. I have pets of my own that I take care of on a daily basis. I have integrated my son into my pets lives and they’re all best friends. Being with animals has always been a major part of my life! Currently not offering in home services, or house sitting services. However, when checking in or walking pups I do make sure water bowl is filled if I notice it’s low and I make sure to bring a pop up water bowl on long walks in the summer.

About: We are an energetic family that love animals. We will make sure your animal is well looked after and receives the love it deserves ! I will be off this summer and will be home throughout the day to take care of your animals. We can also look after your animal over night. We live in a dead end neighborhood where there are not many cars that pass through. We will make sure there is always a set of eyes on your animal.
“Kate was a gem and truly saved us when we were in a pinch. My dog had a severe allergy flare up when we were on vacation and was in need of a rest day with some TLC. Kate and family went above and beyond to give him all of the blankets, cuddles, and relaxation he needed while we continued hiking in high humidity and wet conditions. I’m super careful about who cares for Tux and am glad I put my trust in Kate! We made it home without worsening Tux’s allergies, and he’s doing much better now.”

And the humans made sure Bella had daily walks in the woods, swim in the pond, chasing squirrels and chipmunks …so much so, Bella ate and slept well. This is a FIRST FOLKS! I was thinking Bella wouldn’t want to come back home she was having such an amazing time. I know Bella will miss her new human friends and Dhooney that is Bella’s newest best fur friend! “We contacted Karen about watching our dogs we while we went whale watching. She was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She had our dog from 1 pm until 8 pm. We met at a halfway point for drop off and she returned the dog to us at the port in downtown Bar Harbor. She could not have been more accommodating aa our boat was a little bit late getting back into port. She is very nice and seems to genuinely care about the animals she watches. She sent me pictures throughout the day and text message updates. I would definitely recommend Karen and I would use her again. You do not need to have any worries about leaving your pet in her care. About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. I currently work full-time from home and I’m outside with my dogs every day playing! pet care is a necessity for me as my world revolves around my girls. I have two labs that are very friendly and playful, I also have the ability to crate dogs as well. I used to work in clients homes so I have a vast understanding of the necessity to keep your home safe and well cared for. I also understand the vulnerability that your pet may feel if you are gone at work or for a period of time.
