About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and know you’ll want to leave them in capable hands while you’re away. I work from home so they’ll have someone around during the day to keep them company. We have a large yellow lab named Chunk who is always looking for a friend to play with. We have a large, fenced yard for the pups. I work from home most days so I’ll be around for any of your pet's needs. Please refer to the booking schedule for full range of availability. I can accommodate most any pet requests. We also have a large fenced yard for the dogs to play in. There is also room to separate the dogs if anyone needs a break. I always enjoy getting photos from our sitters, so I'll be sure to provide as many as you like!

About: Nice to meet you, I'm Kat! I have been working in the pet industry since the beginning of 2019, beginning as a kennel attendant, evolving into a professional dog trainer in two prominent KC training facilities, and now running my own small business in Overland Park. I am thoroughly versed in canine care and communication, and use my expertise to help every dog that stays with me have a comfortable and positive experience. Not only that, but I am also very knowledgeable in canine enrichment and stimulation. Have a high-energy, high-needs breed? They'll end their days with me happy and tired. Puppies are absolutely welcome as well, and will have many opportunities to practice socialization, building confidence, and manners. My experience also means that I am able to care for dogs with behavioural issues. I know it can be difficult to find care for dogs with "quirks," and I hope to make that search a little easier. Send me a message and we can chat about your dog and if I would be a good fit. I'm looking forward to meeting your pup! The dogs I work with are my priority! I am out of the house throughout the day in short bursts (at a maximum of a few hours) as I work with training clients and have other work engagements. However, I am able to build my schedule around the dogs that stay in my home. Before you book, we will have a chat about your dog's needs, and I can make sure to set up my schedule in a way that ensures your pup will always get the attention they need. My house is pretty well "dog-proofed" and oriented in a way that I am able to keep a close eye on pets from just about anywhere. To ensure your pup's safety, they will always be directly monitored during freetime - and will be given a comfy crate and/or pen to hang out in when I cannot monitor them. For walks and other adventures, I will always keep your dog leashed and close to me. I love to take dogs out on excursions to parks, trails, and other such places, but I will always check with you first to make sure that we don't go somewhere your dog doesn't enjoy. I have two adult dogs (both ~45lbs) and a cat in my home. The cat is dog-friendly, but also is able to be kept entirely separate from your dog if needed. My dogs are both 100% dog-friendly, have good play manners, and are able to be neutral around/ignore other dogs when told. They are very patient with young puppies as well. They are also able to be kept totally separate from your pup if requested! It is 100% up to you if your pup has any interaction with other dogs (or the cat). Full separation is possible, but if you'd like your dog to make some furry friends, I am happy to safely facilitate that! All interactions between your dog and other pets will be of limited time and monitored - two dogs will never be alone together. For safety and management reasons, I cannot accept bookings for dogs that are not able to be comfortable in a crate (or pen, for small dogs only). Have other questions or concerns? About: I loving going on walks and spending time outdoors, so taking care dogs is something I really enjoy. Even thought I don't have pets right now, me love for them hasn't changed-I’ll love to give other animals the care and attention they deserve. I like to spend me free time at home in quiet activities and when the days are nice I love to go for walks outside. I currently work full time Monday to Thursday, part time mornings on Fridays and have weekends off. I live in an apartment floor flat, with a nice little outdoor patio, with a fence and only one access from the inside. My apartment is surrounded by large green areas for walks in a nice and safe neighborhood.

About: I’m the sole proprietor for my cat for 5 years, the sole proprietor for my dog for 8 years, and fostered 3 more cats for 2 years before finding loving homes for them. I love animals so much! I have a full time job, but lots of free time and would be honored to take care of your pets when I’m not at work! I have every other Saturday off, every Sunday off, and usually get off by 4pm. I have a cat, and live in an apartment so if I’m pet sitting it would be best to do it at your home. I love going on walks and to parks, which I do that daily so having a sweet companion to go with me would be fantastic!
