About: I raised my dog as a child for 15 years then raised another dog as an adult for 15 years. I cannot own a dog right now, so would love the opportunity to care for dogs again. I am back in central Jersey, taking care of my Mom full time, giving me available opportunity for dogs 24/7. I have no full nor part time job, so much much down time here. I have a large empty townhouse in central Jersey with only one other inhabitant-sweet adorable senior Mom. There is an outdoor patio and courtyard, that leads to the grounds of the community where there is a dog walk and plenty of green grass to run and walk on. We have a large empty room that I can play fetch with a dog, and throw a toy on a rainy day or anytime.

“Josephine’s first stay with Pardeep was seamless. Pardeep was very accommodating with my schedule and provided a safe, calm, enjoyable day for Jo. He kept me up to date on her as the day went on and that is always reassuring. His dogs were friendly and respectful which I greatly appreciate due to Josephine being a senior. I would gladly recommend him and will seek his care for Josephine again soon.”

“Teddy had his first daycare experience and was there all day. He had a blast! Getting pictures and information about his day was comforting too. He’s a puppy and we had never left him with anyone. Your home felt like family. Thank you!”

“Xinzhi was wonderful! She sent lots of updates, was very thorough in asking about Sherlock’s needs and owner’s desires, and was very very understanding about timing mistake on my end. Sherlock had a great time with her her dog Bella! We will def be back!”

“Purvi is amazing!!! From the first moment of meeting her, I could see right away that she loves dogs and dogs love her. I 10/10 recommend Purvi and will definitely be rebooking her for the future!”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and have over 10 years of experience as both a dog sitter and walker. I treat every pet like family and strive to create a calm, fun environment that’s tailored to their unique needs—whether we’re going for a walk or settling in for a cozy stay. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m happy to coordinate with your routine to make sure their care fits seamlessly into your day. In my home, pets are cared for like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. They’re welcome to be wherever I am—including sleeping in the same room or on the bed—so they never feel alone. I follow their usual routines and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and rest to make them feel secure and happy.

“From start to finish, my experience with Alexis was excellent. She was great with communication, including taking the time to speak with me before the visit so she could learn all the ins, outs, and quirks of my Ninja and Louie. She sent updates during the day, and the boys were very content when I picked them up. Not only would I recommend Alexis to anyone looking for safe, reliable pet care, but I will definitely book her again for my own dogs in the future!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I work from home so I’m always available for your fur baby. I live in Flemington with a big fenced in yard which is great for running around and play time. I also will go on leashed walks around the neighborhood. There are lots of toys here and will treat your baby like my own. I’m currently a fur mom to two year old Penny. She is a 12 pound Havanese who loves other dogs. She will play and love your fur baby while they are in my home. I do prefer to watch smaller dogs that are under 40 pounds if possible. Thank you. I work from home so I have lots of time to take the dogs out in the backyard, play with them and go on leashed walks. My dog is my baby and I will treat yours the same. I have a fenced in large backyard so your dog will be safe. I also have a 12 lb Havanese that will love playing with your fur baby.

About: Attentive, responsible & fun pet caretaker who will treat your dog or cat like it was my own. With first hand experience taking care of my pets over the years, I understand how important it is for animals to feel safe, loved. & well-cared for. Whether it’s walking, playtime, administering medication, or just providing companionship, I’m here to meet your pets needs and help them to thrive. I look forward to providing your pets the full attention they deserve. Whether it’s a dog who enjoys long walks and plenty of treats, or a cat who needs calm and attentive care, I will provide this and more. With experience caring for my own dogs and cats, I understand how to meet your pets unique needs so they feel safe happy, well-loved while you are away. I have two levels and can separate your pets or have them join my friendly rescue dog Gary! Cats can join my cats or be separated. I can take your dog on plenty of walks and if you would like to the local dog park to play. Cats get special TLC!

About: I would love to care for your fur baby! I was a veterinary assistant for 3 years and have also had more long term “dog nanny” jobs as well. I have dealt with any kind of dog you could think of. I recently had a blind, elderly chihuahua and adopted my pup at 10 weeks old so I’m used to old and young babies. I can administer medications and can cater to most special needs any pet has. I also have my own pet sitters insurance. Feel free to reach out to ask about any accommodations your pet might need or if you feel unsure about anything, I’m always happy to answer questions and go the extra mile to make sure your pets feel safe and loved. :) I recently decided to pet sit full time! Most of my jobs have revolved around animals so it made the most sense. I am home 24/7 unless I have a quick errand to run. If it’s a nice day or we all have jackets we usually walk to the park near my house and play fetch (I have 30 foot leashes) or just sniff around for a while. I always bring a treat pouch to keep their focus and reward good behavior! At night we usually eat our dinner, have our last potty and all cuddle up on the couch until bed time. Prices are negotiable depending on the specific hours I’m needed for overnights/house sitting (if I’m just popping in and out during the day and staying the night, or I’m needed 24/7). My #1 priority is making sure your pup is as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions for meal time or walks if it makes your dog feel safer and happier with me. I’m respectful of clients homes and leave things exactly the way I found them unless you need some light cleaning help. And of course I don’t mind if you have cameras in your home. Boarding includes up to 3 walks a day (with or without my pup), as much outdoor time as weather allows in a 16x16 play pen (completely supervised), all feedings, oral/topical medication administration, daily updates with pictures and unlimited cuddles and play time with my pup and I. There is a crate in my home if your dog is crate trained and prefers it, but it is never used unless an owner requests it. For walks I am happy to go the route your dog normally goes or do a short drive to a nearby park. As an extra precaution, for larger dogs, I bring an extra slip leash to use over your dogs collar to prevent them from getting loose if the collar unbuckles or slips off. I treat every dog that I take care of like my own.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I have experienced with puppies and older dogs. Please provide any additional details about your furry friend and I will make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’m currently working from home, available for daily walks and plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available for boarding during the week and weekends. I have a big fenced yard and two furry friends at home to keep your baby company (dog and a cat). I have plenty of space for your pups to run around, explore and enjoy. I can easily crate your dog if needed and only take one dog at a time to make sure they have a full attention and love. Located in Readington. Will provide daily pictures and videos.

“Margherita was so helpful. Me and my boyfriend wanted to go to the beach last minute but couldn’t bring our puppy because of the heat but thankfully we were able to drop him off for a couple of hours. This was the first time he’s ever stayed with anyone without me but he came out really happy. Thank you so much!!”

“Jennifer was wonderful! She really empathized that I miss my baby JJ when she’s not with me. But, she really eased my mind with cute pictures of JJ getting lots of care and attention. We will definitely be back!”

“Kevin and Jill were wonderful! They welcomed Luna with kindness, and treated her as a member of their own family. Luna and their two dogs, Boxcar and Bella, became fast friends. During her stay, I received photos and texts to put me at ease that Luna was doing fine, and had made herself at home at their house. I felt confident that my furbaby was safe, happy, and being loved while I was away.”

“It was my first time using Tiffany and I was very happy with her service. Both her and her husband and adorable dog, were very friendly, conscientious, and loving towards my dog JJ. I highly recommend them and definitely will be back!”

“?????????????????? Jennifer took great care with our dog. She is very sweet and loves dogs. Our dog got along great with her dogs and cat! He came home pooped from all of the playtime he had! Jennifer’s home is as neat as a pin and so immaculate! We really appreciated that, since the previous daycare place he went to would leave him needing a bath. :( Thanks Jennifer! Will definitely book again! ????”

“We cannot say enough good things about Michelle, and Michael. They took amazing care of our one year old pup who has no shortage of energy. They were very reliable and listened to the items we asked them for to look out for. They have two, very well tempered dogs who were great companions for our dog’s stay. He came home happy, safe and exhausted! We would recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a sitter, and will be back! Thank you.”

“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

Andrea A.
“Andrea has been a long time personal pet sitter for me and I'm exhilarated to hear that she's expanding her time and energy for more pet parents in need of a sitter. She has always been passionate for as long as I've known her. She also previously worked in a vet clinic, meaning not only is she experienced in pet sitting but she is also knowledgeable with any extra/ special care that would be needed for our fur babies. She's even given me advice in the past with my own cat and dog that has helped me understand my pets better! Andrea has always cared and valued animals in a way that leaves a great impression and safety for my animals.”
