About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my love for animals and my hands-on experience with dogs of all ages. Growing up, my family had two dogs, so I have cared for pets through every stage of life, from puppies to senior dogs. After caring for both, I gained valuable experience in dog walking and watching. Overall, I am confident that I can adapt to each dog’s individual needs. I am also very reliable and great at communicating. I will make it a priority to updates the parents with messages and even photos. I am currently a college-athlete, so during the school year, I do have to dedicate time each day for class and practice. However, I want to make time for this because I really enjoy spending time with animals. Since I can not be with my own, pet walking/sitting is the perfect opportunity! When I care for a pet in a client’s home, I would follow their routine as closely as possible so that their pet feels comfortable. For dog walks, I would make sure to match the dog’s energy level and needs. As for their safety, I am always alert and off my phone so that they have my full attention.

About: Ever since a young age, I’ve always wanted to take care of others/animals. I left human medicine in 2020, and went into veterinary medicine. I never looked back! The past 5 years, I’ve worked as a vet tech for a local humane society and a local animal Emergency Room. I learned so much!! From animal education, to reading body language as a second instinct, to caring for birds and even wildlife. I have experience in caring for almost every companion you could think of. I’m educated in medical cases and disabled pets as well. I also have experience in dealing with reactive dogs. My own dog is reactive. He has taught me so much over the past 3 years together. They are still a dog and deserve to be a dog, we just have to help them rewire their brain. I have learned the patience and I’ve seen the rewards🥹 My family sees a major difference in my dog since adopting him. Due to some health issues over the past 1.5 years, I’m was unable to perform my job I loved so much. I couldn’t sit at home, and was recommended Rover. I can still do what I love, but it’s a little easier on me. My schedule is pretty flexible! As I mentioned, I do have a reactive dog. He is not “agressive”! A lot of the time people get “fear” mixed up with “anger”. I keep him crated when I’m not home. I have a large back yard, but is not fenced in yet. I take my dog out via leash all day, every day. I never leave my own pet, let alone someone else’s, outside unattended! I also have cat but I have many rooms that I have set up, so if needed she will be put in her cat room. If your pets don’t do okay with cats or you aren’t sure how they would be, I will make sure she is put up safely. I used to have a pitbull that was no cat friendly and we existed for years together🥰

About: Hello there, fellow animal lovers! I’m Maddie, your friendly neighborhood animal enthusiast. I have a dog of my own, Dutchie is a German shepherd mix. I am capable of administering medication if applicable and friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, provide comfort, and overnight stays with their animals. My work schedule is pretty flexible right now. I am available for overnight stays preferably Friday-Sunday but I am willing to accommodate your needs. Just let me know! About: I’ve had many pets throughout my life! I’ve had dogs, cats, a bunny and a hedgehog! I’ve worked for an independent pet sitter before! I’ve taken a couple training classes with my own fur babies so I know a little bit about training. I’ve helped nurse kittens as well! I work M-F 8am-5/6pm & have weekends off. I do sometimes change my work schedule around for pet visits so I charge a cancellation fee for cancellations that are 2 days before. My own pets are kenneled throughout the day when no one is home. They go outside regularly about every 2 hours when someone is home. I feed them early morning & when I get home from work. We work through our training exercises daily! I take care of my clients pets however they have asked me to and treat them as if they are my own fur babies! Your pets will know nothing but love & fun when I’m with them!

Many years of experience raising and caring for animals. I’m currently not working so I have lots of time available to care for your furry family. We will play in my large fenced in yard, go on walks if you desire, and generally have loads of fun. I have a large fenced in yard that my 2 Japanese Chins love to run around and play in. My couch and bed are open spaces that your pets are allowed to sleep on if they wish. Treats can be given or withheld based on your requests.

I just do Doordashing in my free time. So I can work the two apps around each other! I started Rover last year but stopped to try other things instead and take care of my health more. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life! Small, big, energetic, and calm, I love them all. Right now I live with 2 extremely spoiled Labs, but I grew up with a Maltese and a Chihuahua. I worked in the grooming salon at Petsmart for a while as a dogbather and know how to bathe, brush, and cut nails. I loved working there and being around animals, but ended up leaving due to moving out of state. I've also volunteered at Partners for Pets out in Troy, IL and made many furry friends there as well. I have a very flexible schedule and open availability through March. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m home often, and I already care for two dogs of my own. I’m used to regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I do photography so I'm guaranteed to get some amazing photos of your pet to cherish! I love throwing the ball/toy, if thats not really your dogs speed, tug of war and cuddles is also fun! I do enjoy going on walks, but with the colder weather coming thats not always an option, in that case, toys that make your dog use their brain and sniff around are great alternatives!
