“Ruben immediately warmed up to Lucy! I completely trust her with our pets and our house. She is also a super cool person with a sweet personality. We will definitely book Lucy again when she is available!”

“Was super nice and I knew my pet was in great hands. Consistently provide feedback when ever we asked and always gave extra updates too which was super helpful and made us feel a lot better. The best thing overall was the puppy report card”

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I hope to make new memories with your pet if you choose me! I am flexible and willing to work around your dogs schedule and my own. We can work something out to meet both our needs of course. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can be available overnights if needed if you are going away on a trip.

About: I grew up taking care of a big, sweet lab and spending time with my extended family’s large dogs. Since then I’ve had the privilege of bonding with the dogs of friends and past partners. I’ve been professionally dog sitting full-time for 2+ years, and off and on for 5. I follow the lead of the dog owner with commands and whether to have the dog(s) on leash or not. I’ve had many experiences of simple neighborhood walks, longer hikes in the wild, dog parks, car rides, giving medication, taking the dog to the vet when needed, and lots of playtime and cuddling. :) I love getting to know the unique personality of each dog I care for, and I do my best to make sure they have quality time and care while their person is away. I am a homebody + I am building an online business, so I am available to give steady presence to the pets, plants, and home I’m caring for. I value clear, direct communication, and I appreciate having detailed directions on how you would like me to care for your pet(s) and home. I’m very self sufficient and capable of dealing with unforeseen circumstances if they arise. I keep my space tidy and clean and will leave your home in as good or better shape than I found it. Please provide a clean and welcoming space for my arrival. I am careful to lock all doors/secure your home, bring in your mail and packages, and water your plants.

About: *On 8/28/25, I will be moving to Irvine, CA until March 2026. I will update my location once I've arrived. Thank you for your understanding.* Hello! I hope that this finds you well and excited for your time away. I grew up with three dogs in the house. One was a full sized doberman and the other two toy poodles. As a teenager, I fell in love with horses and went to horse camp every summer to augment the riding lessons that I took during the school year. I brushed them, rode, them mucked out their stalls and turned them out. As an adult, I became the loving, warm furniture for three cats and a dog and I also had more opportunities to be with horses. I have been a pet and house sitter in the past for friends and friends and family friends for their cats and dogs. In my travels and since becoming a professional house/pet sitter, I've learned to care for and milk goats, avoid protective roosters but still care for their flock of laying hens, and just how much personality a bunny rabbit can have. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, fish, horses, goats, and donkeys- oh, my! I am a lover of pets and their more wild family members. I'm the sort who gives them all nicknames about two minutes after I've met them. I meet them by letting them come to me and letting them set the pace. I don't push to make a relationship and always use the commands set by their owners making sure that they are followed. I intend to respect all beings as beings and not just as animals. Pet and house sitting allows me the opportunity to travel and more opportunities to focus on my writing. I'm rather quite/peaceful in my lifestyle and manor. I get along with most people because I believe that we should all be treated with respect and dignity while having good personal boundaries as well. Thank you for your time. If I've not spoken to your questions about me, please feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to supply you with the information you seek as well as from the long and short term sits that I've completed. I have more reviews and references for you to contact should you desire them. I hope that you find the best sitter for your needs. Take good care. *Please allow me 24 hours to respond to any message. If your need is urgent, please begin your message with this and I'll do what I can to respond in kind. Once I'm your paid sitter, I do respond promptly. *Unfortunately, my drop-in and walking area of service in only in Las Vegas, NM. My greater service area outside of Las Vegas is only for overnight house/pet sitting. Thank you for your understanding. * I currently work mostly from home but sometimes pick up two to three shifts outside the home. Work outside the home can be limited to the hours that you require that I remain in the home. As you can see from the pictures, working from home usually is done on the couch or bed (if you allow this) with your/my snuggle buddy(s). Too, my work schedule gives me plenty of time to play with them as well as go on walks and any other care and feedings. I offer email, phone, text, video/video call (provided your internet will allow for me to send video/video call/pictures) contact options and will gladly send updates as often as twice daily. I always stick to the prescribed feedings and care schedules for your pet(s) and home. I never feed pets human food nor treats unless that's part of your outlined care and only when allowed. I do best when it comes to watering plants if you give me detailed instructions. I'm comfortable shoveling or blowing snow and mowing (very basic- no patterns) as needed provided you give me a walk through of your tools. I do prefer to arrive with enough time for you to give me a tour of your home though a walk through on video call works just as well for me. I'm not the type to snoop- you'll find nothing disturbed in your home but the areas in which I'm allowed. I'm generally tidy and always do a light cleaning before I leave. If I do sit for an extended, 2 month+, stay, I do a deeper clean while I'm in your home as well - dusting, vacuuming and mopping, moving easy for me to move furniture to clean under and behind. Please leave your home the way you wish to find it when you return.

About: That title quote was from a former employer, owner of a pet care company. She turned to me when all else failed. Best compliment, ever! (Traveling for clients now. Please get in touch for pricing.) I meet with first time clients to get the lay of the land. We go over everything from vet contact info, to the everyday things- food, exercise, the chasing of squirrels. :) Schedule is tailored to your munchkins needs. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to come and go when doing overnights. We can discuss. I do not do boarding. I only sit in my clients homes, where their pets are usually the happiest. Just like us! (Their own bed, blankie and bowl!)

About: Hello I'm Madeline, and I'm here to care for your pet just as I do for my own! I love cats and dogs alike, and have taken care of many different breeds and personality types over the years. I've yet to find any pet that I can't handle! Your pets will be loved and cared for so you don't have to worry while you are away :) For Boarding: I live on 5 acres of a wonderful pinon paradise, where your dog(s) can play and hike to their heart's content! I take my own pup for 3 walks a day, so yours will get plenty of exercise. And if they don't mind the car, I'm happy to take them to parks and longer hikes if you like! They can sleep in their own bedroom or in a fully furnished cosy workshop if they prefer. I work from home so will give them my full attention 24/7. I pay very close attention to any specific needs for diet, behavior, or whatever special instructions you give. I love to send photos and updates as often as you like, so you can see they are happy and healthy! If it's drop-in visits only, I give my full attention to playing, hugging, entertaining your pets the entire time I'm there. I hate leaving my pets behind while I travel, so I know how to ensure other owners that their pets are cared for as if they were my own :) I currently work my own schedule so can be flexible with whatever your pets needs may be. If they are boarding in my home, they will have 24/7 attention. I own 5 acres with a good portion fenced in if staying at my home. I love energetic hikes and walks and will cater to your dog's fitness level. I take my own cat outdoors on a harness and would be happy to train yours too! Whatever level of care your pet is accustomed to, I will deliver the same while they are in my care.

About: Hello! I am 21 years old and have owned no less than 3 dogs at a time for my entire life. I currently own dogs, a cat, and a few different reptiles. I’ve been working a full-time job for the past 3 years at a doggy daycare where I was the manager as well. I recently decided to leave the doggy daycare industry and create my own animal care business. I have open availability and am ready to meet and care for your family members now! Because I recently left a full-time management job in the doggy daycare industry, I have open availability, although I expect to fill up quickly. I can stay overnight, offer daily feedings and walks, walks or dog park visits only, or whatever your family might need. I am also available for other housesitting tasks like plant watering and home care as part of my offerings. I am available to stay at your house for extended periods of time and also take your pup/s on walks, I am a licensed trainer here in New Mexico so if you would like training, I am happy to do that as well! Working at a daycare has given me lots of experience with routine: feeding, playtime, medical care, etc. Any critters are a friend to me! :)

“Mel is such a loving, caring, intuitive, and energetically excellent guy for your active canine pupper! He is attentive to the owner’s and dog’s needs, and he communicates efficiently and promptly with the owner. If you have an active doggo, he’s definitely your guy. Mel takes them on hikes, drives, walks, parks, and will snuggle up to your dog at night to ensure love and safety for them. Awesome caregiver hands down!!”

Meghan Q.
“Meghan is a AAA+ pet sitter and a joy to meet! She exudes confidence, reliability, and trust. My dog, Katie, took to Meghan instantly….which isn’t her ‘normal’. I think this says a lot about Meghan’s natural affinity for animals and their trust and interest in her. Meghan followed all the guidance to a ‘T’ and left me with a couple of house observations that I really appreciated. She left my home without evidence she was here, a testament to her clean and tidy profile. Will certainly ensure Meghan is aware of my future travels with hope she can return!”

Danielle C.

“Thanks Danielle. He was a happy boy!”

“Lea is a wonderful, trustworthy, and valued pet-sitter and homesitter. She has a special talent for connecting with animals—even those with high anxiety. I cannot recommend her enough. She is responsible, respectful and peaceful. And my animals LOVE her.”

Caroline K.

“Caroline has a great way with animals because she genuinely cares about them . She took care of my dog like it was her own even suggesting a change in diet for my 14 yr old Dog. It resulted in more energy and a happier ,healthier pet! She also takes time to truly engage with them not just walk or feed them and leave . I only have great things to say about her and recommend her highly.”

Hannah S.

“Hannah is the best!! Second time I have used her and she is phenomenal and gives great updates. My dog loves her! Will definitely use her again! :)”

Madeline S.
“Madeline is an exceptional sitter, whether in her spacious & safe home or at someone’s house. She is incredibly respectful, loving & considerate towards animals. Highly recommended.”

Rowan M.
“I was happy to learn that Rowan is dog-sitting again! She was working full-time at a doggy daycare and wasn't able to watch over our dogs while we travel. Part of me didn't want to write a review because we don't want her schedule to fill up to the point of her not being able to dog sit for us! She loves dogs and has medical and training experience. She has done a great job with our dogs and I trust her completely. Your home, your dogs, your animals will be in the best of hands!”
