About: I love all animals even the initially intimidating ones. I know how to read animals signals and access their comfort level. I give each pet the time it needs to get comfortable so that I can establish a relationship of trust. I'm nether a cat person or a dog person or a tortoise person for that matter, I love all pets equally. I've taken care of virtually every kind of house, pet (including my aunt's chinchilla) thank you got something I haven't seen before? Bring it on. I'm ready for it all. I don't consider taking care of pets to be at shore or work. I take care of them because they take care of me. They keep me calm and grounded, even when things are at their most chaotic. First things first, I treat each animal as if it were my own. I make sure to give each pet the attention it deserves. Upon first introduction and the patients to let it get comfortable when needed. From there I'm happy to take care of any special requests you might require for your pet.
“Miranda really came in the clutch for us at the last minute and was very accommodating when it came to scheduling. We look forward to continuing to work with Miranda in the future!”

About: I’ve had private clients over the past two years consistent of house sitting and dog walking. Moving to a new area and switching to Rover to meet new pets to care for. I currently have open weekends and work a 9/80 schedule allowing me to be off every other Friday and available to help your pets! I provide attentive, loving care by following each pet’s routine, ensuring safety, clean environments, regular exercise, fresh water, meals, medication support, and consistent communication with owners.
About: Ive been pet-sitting for a longtime now. Only recently I have actually started getting paid for it it but before that I would just help out friends and neighbors with their pet-sitting needs. I have a really open schedule so I am really available. I also am not working as of right now so that contributes heavily to my availability. I can easily crate pets if needed as well as just keeping a good eye on everyones pets. I understand especially with puppies, that routine is very important so I try my absolute best to uphold that routine
“Great communication with lots of pictures of bacon on walks. She really took care of him like he was her own dog. I will definitely be requesting more walks from Alyssa.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid! As an adult, I have been dubbed a certified “dog lady” by my friends. Love to babysit and watch friends and families pets when needed! I also have experience volunteering at various dog rescues around Los Angeles! I have a flexible work-from-home job and am able to watch pets when need be. Currently have an adorable rescue dog who lives with me in my apartment! Trust is very important to me! Your pet is my #1 priority and want to make sure you feel comfortable leaving them in my care!
About: I grew up with pets and currently have my own pets, teaching my daughter proper responsibility and behavior with animals. We fully incorporate them into our family, and love and care for all living things! We love pets! I work a very flexible schedule, working a max of 3 days a week. I find at least 45 minutes a day to walk my pets so understand the need for animals to get out of the house, sniff, potty, and see new environments during the day. Our pets are fully incorporated into our home and our family. They are allowed inside, get at least one walk a day, but strive for 2, their health is maintained and prioritized, and Safety for my pets, other peoples pets, and the owners is always a priority.

About: I have grown up with and have taken care of dogs since I was a child. My wife and I both love dogs and hope to meet yours! My wife and I both work full time from home. We are home during the day at minimum 90%. We have a house with no kids and no other pets. We can provide as much attention to your dog as needed! I have a small fenced private patio, 2 dog parks, and 2 large parks within walking distance.
“Kayla provided great care for my pup for several weeks with walks and a weekend stay. She was attentive to my needs and my pups needs and even took her to get exercise at the park! She was prompt and followed all of my detailed instructions (and I can be a very picky dog mom). And, she provided lots of updates with adorable pics of my pup showing how happy and content she was while with Kayla. Kayla even went above and beyond after a day-long stay and brought me my car keys when I accidentally locked them in the trunk! Kayla is very responsible and trustworthy and I will be happy to have her back again when I need someone to care of my baby girl! Thanks so much Kayla! I really appreciate you!”

“Sarah is wonderful with my dog Nala. I think Nala looks forward to her walks with her. It helps to have someone reliable to come by and spend time with Nala while I am at work.”

“Leo is amazing! My DioG (Pitbull) gets so excited when he comes to pick him up. He’s a great Walker, Dog Trainer, and a Friend to my DioG. He checks in on Dio when we are away and makes sure he’s taken care of. I highly recommend him for any dog service.”

About: I have always had animals since I was a kid and I have always loved them! I love their unconditional connection with us. I have senior dog care and medication administering experience. I am trying something new in my career path, which will hopefully include your pet. I want to work with animals more and turn it into a career. I can't wait to get my steps in with your pet! I have an open schedule at this time. I'm looking to fill my week with regular walks, visits, and boarding. I have three daughters. My oldest actually works as a pet bather with Petsmart and my two younger daughters love animals as much as I do......I've been told by my oldest that I'm not allowed at the animals shelter anymore. 🤣🤣🤣 I live in a mobile home with a fenced yard. I have four of my own fur babies that are welcoming to new visitors. Depending on weather we may go for walks at the park and visit the dog park or play in the backyard or even the house with toys. But as long as it's not too hot or raining we hit the park and dog park.
About: Hi my name is Alexis I'm a full time college student and I nanny as well as pet sit. With that being said, I've always loved all fur babies and started dog sitting locally overnight about 4 years ago. I now help with dog sitting during my stay with clients while being a nanny. Occasionally I will also volunteer and dog walk at Rock and Rescue adoption center in Woodland Hills when I have free time after school. Additionally, I will help a friend of mine who has her own dog walking business walk the dogs and spend time with them if needed. I am hoping to meet you and your fur baby soon and I can't wait to hear back from you! Thank you.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lang
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Exceptional Care for Luna & Lola! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. She took care of my Great Dane, Lola, and my Belgian Shepherd, Luna, and was truly incredible from start to finish. Her communication was beyond amazing she kept me updated every step of the way, sent so many thoughtful photos, and made sure I always knew how my girls were doing. As a dog mom, that level of communication meant everything. Most importantly, my dogs were not only safe they were genuinely happy, loved, and cared for. You can tell immediately when someone truly loves animals, and that was so evident in the way she cared for both of them. Luna is a high energy Belgian Shepherd, and Lola is a giant sweetheart Great Dane, so caring for both takes someone special and she handled them beautifully. I came home to happy, well loved dogs and complete peace of mind, which is priceless. I would book her again in a heartbeat and absolutely hope she’s available the next time we need care. Highly, highly recommend! 🐾🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
