About: I'm a cat and dog mom (cats are 10, pup is 7) with over 7 years of dog walking experience and a lifetime of cat care. I follow leash and cleanup laws and whatever your pet rules are for your fur babies! I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule! I'm most available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with plenty of weekend availability. Between the hours of 8am - 4pm are best for me. I have a fenced, dedicated dog park far removed from main roads with plenty of grass. I always have doggy doo bags available for cleanup.

About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 4 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: I have been caring for pets for friends and family for many years. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to cleaning up pet messes. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for. I am mostly available weeknights and weekends. I am currently working full-time, but I have the ability to check in on pets during the day if needed. Weekday mornings are usually a little busy for me. While I cannot currently offer housing for pets in my home, partly due to a cat diva, I can promise to be respectful of any home I enter.

About: Hello everyone, I am Victoria! I’ve been caring for animals since childhood as I grew up on a decent amount of acreage with a constant rotation of three German shepherds, cats, parrots, small animals, and chickens; all of my dogs have passed and I’ve gotten high marks in their training sessions, so if you're working on something important with your dog; let me know! I am also versed in caring for other critters as well, no matter the species, and can administer medicine or a special diet for your pet. I look forward to working with you! Time management is my best friend and my energy level has made for very easy scheduling of my pets needs. Playtime is just as important as potty time and I will ensure that your pet gets both! My eyes will always be on your loved ones. As a multiple animal owner, I have had cats with strict diets, high energy dogs, and also puppies that tried relentlessly to get into things; all of which were avoided by giving love and praise, paying close attention to their environment, and setting them up for success. I have a keen eye for detail and I would never let anything happen to your animals (I would treat them as my own & protect them of course)!

My dog is very shy and cautious towards strangers, but, as shown by the daily adorable photos, they bonded, and my dog even did tricks for Shannon--something she would normally never do for someone who's not me or my wife. She frequently took my dog on longer walks than expected, and even left us a bunch of baked doggy treats on her last day. We've already rebooked her for later in the fall. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I’m a good dog walker and can play with them and feed them too. I’ll make sure they are treated right and feel safe around me. I’m around and free whenever possible to take care for pets for friends and family if they need it. I treat them as family and make sure they have fun too I will make sure they are on a leash when we go for walks outside of the house. Won’t leave doors open and make sure to car them if needed too.

About: I’ve taken care of a sick dog and a rabbit for 3 years now on separate occasions when the families go on trips. I always make sure to play with the animals. I’m available pretty much all the time. I have a class from 11:00-11:50 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that I have to attend and I babysit from 1:00-4:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but otherwise I am all yours (and your animals) I will make sure that everything is in place when I leave and I will keep the house clean! I will of course also take care of your pets and play with them!

About: I've been involved in dog rescue for over 20 years and often board former foster pups. I give a lot of attention and soft play to minimize the stress of their owners being away. I recently completed a 220 hour veterinary assistant certification. I am semi-retired and have a lot of flexibility to handle midday let outs/walks/medication administration etc. Every morning I walk the Capital Hills Golf Course. In the winter I walk it in the morning and afternoon. I am available most weekends, holidays and school vacations. Pets in my home enjoy lots of exercise and soft play--fetch, tug of war, etc. Dogs that prefer to stay home will have a minimum of 3 visits per day for feeding, exercise and play. For golf course walks, I offer free pickup within two miles of the route from my house to the course.

About: Hey, Rover friends! My name is Alex (he/they) and I absolutely love dogs. Growing up with an 85-pound yellow lab, I fell in love with these gentle giants as a kid, and volunteered at the local animal shelter during high school. I have experience with various types of training, including crate training, teaching loose-leash walking, and doing socialization work in public places. Over the past four years, I have sat for dozens of clients, both through Rover and for family and friends. I also serve as a regular dog walker for several others. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. From rescue mutts to the stigmatized Bully breeds, family dogs, and herding dogs, I believe that each dog has a unique personality and can thrive given the right circumstances! In the next couple of years, I hope to adopt a rescue dog myself, but right now, Rover gives me the chance to be around lots of different animals despite my busy lifestyle. I am a PhD candidate, and I work from home a good portion of the week. When I teach, I am typically gone for 4 hours at the most, so I am able to check in on dogs frequently. I am also a very active person and enjoy strolls through the park, long hikes, or easy tempo runs on local cross-country trails. For doggy daycare and boarding, I have a comfy crate that is adjustable to your pup's size, and for their safety, I typically crate them if I leave the house until we have built a relationship. I have a small fenced-in backyard which is perfect for potty breaks, fetch, and short training sessions. I live close to Washington Park, and frequently take pups on the loop around the lake. I also enjoy taking day trips to the Adirondacks and Catskills for hiking :)

About: I love animals and always want to be around them. I live alone at home and have 1 dog who gets along with other dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs and am very familiar with taking care of them. I also grew up with cats and love cats. I have been taking care of my friends’ dogs - one was a 17 year old dog with medications. So i am familiar with giving animals medicines. I just lost my beloved beagle 2 months ago age 16 and miss her! I can have pets stay over my place or I can stay over their places. Basically, I love all animals and will make sure they have fun and stay comfortable! I work part-time and am home most of time during the weekday. I work Mondays and some Wednesdays from 3:30-6pm and Tuesdays from 11:30am-4pm and am free on Fridays. One side of my home has fence. I live near beach and bike trail and Ethan Allen park. Plenty of places to take dogs out for walk.

About: I feel very proud that whenever I meet an animal we’re almost Instantly best friends. They say that dogs can sniff out honest and kind people. I feel very skilled at building trusting connections with pets and making sure they are happy when you come home! I am able to keep them safe and entertained, handle medicine, food, etc. I have a long list of repeated clients and growing that list helps me support myself and my artistic career! I work many different gigs that make my schedule super flexible! About: I’ve been caring for pets since I got my first dog at 13 years old. Ever since then animals have been in every aspect of my life. I did obedience and agility training with my dog Buster so I have first hand experience with dog training. I then worked at a grooming salon where I trimmed nails and bathed dogs. I am very comfortable around pets who are anxious, as I’ve had a couple of clients whose pets deal with separation anxiety. I started out dog sitting mainly for people who I also baby sat for in the past. I got my first cat after I graduated and I am now both a cat and dog person :) I truly love being around animals and giving them the best care. I had a weekly dog walking client who ended up moving so I have a space open for recurring walks! I currently work remote so I love getting out of the house to be active. I have a lot of free time outside of work so I’m flexible with any schedule! Any pet will be treated just like I treat my own, with lots of love! I prefer housesitting, as a dog is usually more comfortable in their own space.

About: I have had all types of animals growing up, and I also grew up with 3 younger brothers and they are an animal in itself!! I work 7-3 and I have all the time in the world after work to hangout with animals! I enjoys afternoon walks and will be down for any weather. I also enjoy weekend walks. I am neat and tidy, I will care for your animal in my best capacity to do so. I do not have any animals in my apartment currently but I can care for them in your home!

About: I have loved animals all my life and your pet will have a great and safe time with me. I will make sure they are well cared for and that they get out a lot during the day. I am usually home all the time but if for some reason I have to leave they will be safe in one room. I have a 15 year old son who also loves animals and really wants a dog and this will also be an excellent opportunity for him to really learn what it is like taking care of a dog. your pet will be in great hands. About: I have owned and taken care of my own cats and dogs my whole life. I have also worked on a dairy farm. So I’m able to work with larger pets too. I’m available during the day 8am-10pm,I can make an exception to nights if you looking for a vacation sitter. I’m open to all type is special diets an needs to the animal such as helping them use the bathroom or eat. I prefer to stay at the clients home due to having 3 cats of my own and not knowing how they are with other cats.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve owned multiple dogs & cats that are sadly no longer with me. I love the joy going for a run or walk can bring them. Bathing your furry friend is never an issue. I do have a cat named Zelda who loves animals but she’s the only one I have now. Offering boarding services for holiday times coming up! I work part time and go to school full time as well as being a mother to my daughter. We can always talk about what works best for us both & your furry friend(s). I do have an open backyard but I do have extra long tie outs so they will be able to run. I have no problem taking them to a local dog park or a walk around the neighborhood. If you’re going on vacation & your furry friend can’t come, we can easily discuss what works best for scheduling.
