About: I have taken care of dogs regularly for 3 years now. Mostly staying at peoples houses for a week or more. I love being able to hang out with dogs and get to know their personality while also helping to relieve the families stress of finding a dog caretaker. I am flexible, if based in the capital region I am available any day of the week for extended time or even just for a drop in. I am a care giver at heart and love pets to dog sitting and walking is the perfect combination. In your home, I will follow whatever rules you set forth and will make sure the dog is comfortable and taken care of in the same way as if you were home.

5. Ewan E.
“Ewan did an excellent job of walking my energetic Siberian Husky while I dealt with some health and mobility issues. T got very excited around the time Ewan was expected, and always seemed thrilled to see him. T was sufficiently exercised during the walks that he stayed mellow all afternoon. I would definitely use Ewan next time I need dog walking assistance.”

12. Elena R.
“Elena is wonderful and I’ve already rebooked with her! She came over to let my rambunctious pup out daily while I was out of town, even bringing along her own dog to get some extra energy out, and made sure to send updates and photos. Ahead of time, she asked really great questions about our dog care preferences, which highlighted her experience and made me feel very comfortable with our first time Rover experience. Highly recommend!”

16. Megan M.
“I am writing this testimonial with gratitude to Megan Matthews, who has been an absolute blessing to our family and, most importantly, to our dog. From the moment Megan stepped into our lives, it was evident that she wasn’t just any pet sitter or dog walker. She brought a level of care, professionalism, and warmth that far exceeded our expectations. Her passion for animals shines through in everything she does, making her a perfect companion for any pet during an owner’s absence. Megan is incredibly reliable, always arriving on time and never missing a scheduled walk or sitting. But what truly sets her apart is the attention to detail and the personal touch she adds to her service. She quickly learned our pets likes and dislikes. She has also kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the day, ensuring we are always connected and informed about our dog. Moreover, Megan’s flexibility and willingness to accommodate last-minute requests have been a lifesaver for us on several occasions. Knowing that we can rely on someone as caring and dependable as her gives us peace of mind whenever we are away from home. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Megan highly enough. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet with the same love and care that you do, look no further than Megan Matthews.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs throughout all of my college years going to homes while they were away . Last year I lost my own dog due to old age, I had 13 amazing years with her. I haven’t been ready to take the next step in getting another of my own but looking to enjoy others until ready! I am a nurse and work 4 days a week and have three days off as well as evenings. I am looking to spend free time caring for animals! I have a large backyard and love walking and getting exercise. I currently don’t have any animals as my dog passed last year so plenty of space and time to care for dogs.
