“Brigid did a great job taking care of our senior dog for the first time. She was very communicative and sent us photos of various happenings during the days that Jessie was at her house. We appreciated knowing that all was well while we were away. Brigid was very conscientious in following through with all instructions for our dog’s care. We have already booked her for another time.”

Every pup gets one-on-one attention, enrichment, and plenty of daily playtime. I’m home the majority of the week, which means your dog gets lots of company, cuddles, and care! I’m happy to board your sweet pup anytime you need me. I’ve got a fully fenced yard and a goofy young playmate who loves making new dog friends! Your pup will enjoy tons of zoomies, sniffing, and social fun. At night, everyone snoozes safely in their crates—but don’t worry, I’m always on “midnight potty duty” for puppies and seniors who need a quick outing!
“Samantha and her family are amazing. Honestly. My first time boarding my 3 month old puppy and they made it so easy. Communication and kindness!! Such genuine people. Thank you for everything!!”

“Chelsea and Christopher were fantastic! They have an amazing setup at their home. They sent pictures and updates every day and were very accommodating to work around my schedule! I will definitely be bringing Willow back!”

“Lori was great with all aspects of scheduling our meet and greet and trial overnight with Cornelius! She was quick to respond and so accommodating to make this easy for us. I trust her judgment with her other dogs she is boarding with Cornelius, as well! Thank you Lori! Bonus, fenced in backyard!😀”

“This is the second time we entrust Penny to Christopher and his lovely wife, and they continue to provide wonderful care for my elderly pup, all while sending me pics and videos of her, which is always wonderful. Penny requires attentive care with meds and some ear cleaning, and Christopher did both. They are great dog sitters!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Cashe's dog bordering services! Professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to my pet's needs. Cashe was highly responsive to my texts, making the whole experience seamless. My Opal seemed happy and I couldn't have been more at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Highly recommended!”

“Jayla was so great! She was incredibly responsive and provided helpful updates. I felt so comfortable leaving our pet with her. You could tell she really treated our dog like he was a part of her family. We will definitely be rebooking with Jayla in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with our first experience leaving our dog with Kyle. Her love of dogs is obvious. She took such good care of him and kept in regular contact with us with pictures and videos. He came home happy and unstressed. Actually, I’m not sure he wanted to come home 😆. We definitely recommend her!”

“This was Rosie’s second time stay and she once again had a great time! She looked like she was having a ton of fun in running around in the backyard from all of the regular photo updates provided during her stay!”

“Alex was WONDERFUL! He went above and beyond to take care of my 70lb foster puppy, Sony. Took him on long walks and to the dog park ?. He was also super helpful when I couldn’t get the crate into my car. He went above and beyond by picking up the crate and the pup at my apartment. Sony was so happy and relaxed when he got back home. I will definitely book with Alex again.”

“I cannot say enough about Kim. She made our first experience on Rover such a great one. She gave photo pupdates and I couldn’t be happier. You can truly tell she loves and adores dogs so much. Anytime I visit my family in New York, I now know who to trust. Whenever we board our dog, we always love for him to play all day, and I know he got that from Kim. He came home so happy!”

“Amy was wonderful with our puppy! She took great care of him and kept us updated during the stay. It’s such a comfort knowing he was in good hands. We’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Lydia was absolutely wonderful with my dog Paddy, I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure my pup was happy and comfortable the entire time. She sent multiple pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, it was clear they were truly spending quality time together. They even did activities like yoga and went on multiple car rides, which I loved seeing. When I came to pick Paddy up after a few days, she didn’t even want to leave Lydia, which says everything about how well she was cared for and how much attention and affection she received. I would highly recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. I will absolutely book with her again!”

“Emer and Jason took great care of Lucy. They took the time to get to know her, and she got along well with their pups. I could tell Lucy felt very comfortable with them, which put me at ease. Lucy had a very good visit and came home happy and healthy! A win-win.”

“Maggie was extremely accommodating when I needed a last minute sitter for the weekend! She was able to give Lily play time alone from other dogs and gave her a lick mat when she was nervous after arriving. I knew Lily was in good hands for the weekend and would be happy to have Maggie as her sitter again!”

“I’ve booked Kevinh twice now, this time was a last minute, long-term arrangement. He was just as wonderful with Zula as he was the first time. He’s incredibly attentive to her needs, and I can see she adores him. He’s excellent! Absolutely no complaints at all.”

“Katie is so awesome! She went above and beyond to befriend our grumpy old man of a cat, was very thorough at every drop-in, and just a lovely person all around. Highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I have been dog sitting dogs since I was a teenager. I have experience with many different breeds both big and small. Since I don’t have any pets of my own right now I love being able to go meet new furry friends and play with them I have a pretty flexible work schedule. I can make my own schedule based off of the needs clients may have. Depending on when your pets need care I can adjust my schedule accordingly It is my pleasure to keep your pets company while you are away. I am happy to help out with whatever is needed. I am reliable and will keep your pets company while you are away.

“Natasha took great care of my cats. She sent me thorough updates and pictures of the cats after every visit. I felt comfortable being away from my pets because I knew Natasha was taking such great care of them. Thank you, Natasha!”

“Eleanor was wonderful with our skittish, shy cat that dislikes most strangers. Our cat was so calm and relaxed when we returned from our trip, which is rare for her! Eleanor was so nice and pleasant to meet with, was always right on time with check-ins, and had no problem using not one but two different types of automatic feeders. I highly recommend Eleanor as a pet sitter, and I plan to reach out to her anytime I need a cat sitter!”

“Deb is the absolute best pet sitter. I'm loosing count of how many times I've booked with her, but each time she exceeds my expectations and goes above and beyond. She sends the cutest pictures of my cat (my cat absolutely loves Deb), plays with her (Deb even gifted Zoey a toy!!! I'm telling you, Deb's the best), sends detailed updates while I'm gone. She even tidies up the place (my cat likes to make a little mess), so when I get back it looks spotless! She is reliable, has the biggest heart, and truly cares for pets she watches as if they're her own. I have the utmost trust in Deb, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! She is simply the best.”

“Merissa and Nick are the best pet sitters I have ever had, because they care and go above and beyond!! Besides the very helpful daily updates on my cat’s food, drink, litter box usage and general behavior, they sent me some of the greatest photos and videos of Hodge, many showing them playing with my very social fur baby. When I returned home after a 10-day trip, the house was immaculate and my mail and newspapers were neatly piled up on the kitchen counter. I knew that with Merissa and Nick my cat was getting the best care possible and was very happy, which gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy my vacation.”

About: I have had cats for my entire life so you can count on me to clean litter boxes and wipe up that pesky vomit. I also know how important it is to play and sit with them, not just feed them. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for.

“Always does such an amazing job watching my girl. I usually only book for 1-2 days but went away for 5 this weekend, leaving more detailed instructions and she followed every step thoroughly and took great care of my Jupiter! Will continue to rebook with Ashley (:”

“Ashley’s drop-in service was great! We set up a meet-and-greet ahead of time to introduce her to our dog, and for a nervous guy with a lot of quirks, he warmed to her instantly which put us at immediate ease. She provided updates on her arrival and departure times, a full report on his bathroom break, sent pics during her visit, and she is so accommodating to our ever-changing schedule. Will definitely be utilizing her for recurring visits!”

“Juliana was a fantastic dog sitter ! She was really prompt with communication, sent pictures of my pets, and overall was incredibly professional. She also let me know when small accidents happened, like when my dog knocked over a houseplant while he was playing or when he chewed on his leash. She was patient and did GREAT with my large, high energy 2 year old poodle. I’m very grateful to have a resource like her nearby and I look forward to hiring her again”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

“Nina was absolutely amazing!! She provided amazing updates everyday, along with pictures, that assured me everyday that our kitty was safe, sound, and happy! Nina went above and beyond and we will 100% book Nina again in the future!! She is the best!”

I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.
“Kenia is kind, flexible and communicative. The second day I brought my anxious rescue poodle to her, she sprinted up the steps and could NOT wait to get inside! Her warmth is unmatched and she brought me great comfort knowing my pup was in a safe, loving environment while I tended to family needs. Will definitely use Kenia again if I’m in the area, and highly recommend anyone in need use her too!!”

“Keegan is the best 😍 he shows my dog so much love and affection. He communicates well, is trustworthy and keeps me updated with photos. He is such an amazing person and we are so grateful to have him in our lives. I trust him with all animals.”

They went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and were very quick to respond anytime I had a question. I will definitely use them again!”

“Mark & Sylva were great hosts for my dog when we needed a few hours of care while my son toured a nearby college. They were welcoming and kind and did a great job with her. I'd happily book again if we're in Troy in the future. Thank you!”

“Oakley enjoyed his time with Cache. He’s a very anxious pup and she was calm and relaxing. He loved her right from the start. And he was a happy boy when I picked him up!”

“We appreciate the photos Anna sent while Cookie was there. Thank you for thinking about us. Cookie was happy when we picked her up. We will definitely leave Cookie there again when we visit this area. Thank you so much.”

“I am so grateful to Kim for watching my dog for daycare. Tuna had a great time hanging out with resident pup, Bella; they ran around in the enclosed back patio and she got to hang outside on the deck which is her favorite pastime while waiting for me to pick her up after work. Kim's son took her on multiple walks each day, including first thing in the morning which gave me peace of mind and made our morning that much easier. I could tell Tuna liked spending the day there which is super important to me; we'd love to be a repeat client due to our positive experience!”

About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.
“Jessica has been walking our dog since April and she has been terrific! We feel very lucky to have found her! She’s reliable, kind, and intuitive with our dog. She sends midday reports on her walks which are super helpful. I always come home to a calmer pup since Jessica started with us. We’re hoping to hire her for a longer sit at some point, too. Jessica is great!”

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Katharine was extremely easy to work with! She assisted in fulfilling a last minute request, and got along great with my dog! She was able to get my pup to take a walk and eat her food, which are often difficult tasks due to my dogs anxiety. Would 100% recommend Katharine to others!!”

About: I'm a cat and dog mom (cats are 10, pup is 7) with over 7 years of dog walking experience. I follow leash and cleanup laws and whatever your pet rules are for your fur babies! I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule! I'm most available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with plenty of weekend availability. Between the hours of 8am - 4pm are best for me. I have a fenced, dedicated dog park far removed from main roads with plenty of grass. I always have doggy doo bags available for cleanup.
“My dogs LOVE Bradley. He’s been so helpful to my family and I - always showing up on time and even helping us out last minute - I cannot say enough good things about him and would highly recommend him to anyone !”

About: I have been caring for pets for friends and family for many years. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to cleaning up pet messes. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for. I am mostly available weeknights and weekends. I am currently working full-time, but I have the ability to check in on pets during the day if needed. Weekday mornings are usually a little busy for me. While I cannot currently offer housing for pets in my home, partly due to a cat diva, I can promise to be respectful of any home I enter.
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. I do, however, miss having dogs in my life—their personalities, their companionship, and all the joy they bring. That’s what led me to Rover! I’d love the opportunity to give your pup some extra love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else, and I’d be honored to be that person for you. 🐾❤️ I’m a bartender with a schedule that gives me plenty of flexibility during the weekdays. My days off are often spent getting outside for walks, runs, and enjoying some fresh air, so having a pup to join me would be the perfect addition to my routine! Because I work at a seasonal location, my availability will become even more flexible as the season winds down. I’m looking forward to using that extra time to spend with dogs, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, or simply giving your pup some company and attention while you’re away. I’m active, dependable, and genuinely love being around dogs, so I’d be happy to make your pup part of my everyday routine! 🐾 I have a large two story home with plenty of space for roaming and playing, as well as a fenced in back yard. We do not have any pets at the moment so it’s very easy to accommodate yours.
“Glenn and Diana’s care of my big dog has been such a weight off my shoulders. He has some special needs and they didn’t hesitate to help. Also so appreciative of the questions they ask and how much they care!”

About: I’ve done overnight and day visits with dogs and cats for years and do multiple days during the week now for a family member. I work well with large and small dogs. I am available all days of the week and have a very flexible class schedule so can easily fit in a visit with your pup! I am available for overnights every night as well! I have babysat for people who have both fenced and non fenced yards so I can easily work with leash using dogs. I myself have much experience with stubborn and large dogs on leashes so can handle tough pups!
About: Come check out my virtual portfolio🐶💞‼️ Hello my name is Kimberly, I am a postdoc (bi-lingual). I worked in 3 different emergency vet hospitals during high school and then throughout college. My love for this field started at a young age, while I may be getting a career in this field, my family overall is embedded and involved. Having a sister who is a licensed technician and two immediate cousins (home I am close too🙂!) are veterinarians (1 being a surgeon). That being said.. I have worked in an animal hospital through a paid position for six years straight, From there I have not stopped dog walking & pet sitting involving all types of animals, cats & dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, mice and even monkeys! After woking in veterinarian clinics, I worked with larger breeds such as monkeys where I was able to be trained and later assisted on surgeries. I also pet sit with my sister Rahuchel. She has been a Vet-tech for 14 years and a registered nurse for 5.

“Amy was wonderful with our puppy! She took great care of him and kept us updated during the stay. It’s such a comfort knowing he was in good hands. We’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“We have used Sheronda two times within the last couple of months. We have nothing but praise for her and her family as well as the care she has given to our Elly. She was also understanding when we had a medical emergency on our most recent trip. We love how many updates and pictures we get. You won't get a better dog sitter anywhere. We look forward to using her service again.”

“Jennifer was amazing. I can’t say enough good things. She treated my pup like one of her own and I am truly grateful. Leaving and being away from your pup is an anxiety inducing experience, but Jennifer took such good care of Cadbury and was so incredible at keeping me updated that I didn’t have to worry and was able to focus on my conference instead of worrying about him. And she also kept Cadbury entertained and engaged so his mind was on whatever thing was going on at the moment which I was glad for Her dogs welcomed Cadbury to their pack which I was also incredibly appreciative of. I am so glad he has new friends that I look forward to him spending more time with them. Jennifer, her mom and their pack were amazing and so glad it worked out the way it did. I’m sure I’m missing things but they were amazing and look forward to Cadbury’s next experience there and so glad to know I have a place I can trust. Thanks Jennifer!”
