“Baylee is magic with our very special 19 year old kidney failure cat. She is not an easy cat to care for, as she needs a special med that isn’t easy to apply. In fact, no one other than a family member has ever been able to do it. But Baylee has become our cranky old girls friend and is able to apply the medicine. Additionally, the house was super clean when we returned. Maybe cleaner than when we left.”

Usually my parents watch our senior dog but she had just gone through radiation treatment and needed a bit more time dedicated to her for the holiday weekend. After asking a few friends and realizing quickly it wouldn’t be possible to find what we were looking for over a holiday weekend I decided to open a Rover account and see if any profiles stood out. Michelle’s profile jumped out immediately as she has previous experience with senior dogs and sick dogs who needed medication. We met with her and I knew right away this would be a great fit for our dog Daizy. Michelle stayed at our house and cared for Daizy like she was her own. She spent time with her outside laying in the sunshine, administered her twice daily eye meds and her evening pill medication. She even took Daizy potty in the middle of the night (Daizy’s medication is a diuretic and she pees often). It made us feel immensely better going out of town and that peace of mind is something you cannot put a price on. Thank you a million times over, Michelle!”

About: Hi there! I am a current PA student that is puppy/pet deprived after losing my sweet girl Annie to splenic cancer 2 years ago. I have had 2 cats and a dog (Annie) and I have helped my grandma with her litters of Doberman during my entire childhood. I have experience with home health care for elderly, I am medically trained (for humans) and have years of babysitting (also for humans). All this being said, I would love to help out you and your family while also having the ability to gain some pet therapy myself :) My schedule will change monthly so I will continue to update my profile with each clinical rotation change in schedule. During April, I will be available on the weekends but may also be available in the evenings during the week. I will care for your pet just the same as if it were mine! All I request is your instruction on your guidelines in and out of the house :)

About: Hi! My name is Payton, I am 24 years old and have always had dogs in my home since I was a child! I sit for my parents who have 3 small dogs and two cats and a possum! I Love animals! My home consists of me, my boyfriend, and our 2 year old friendly Shihpoo. My boyfriend also comes from a family with Great Danes so we love dogs of all sizes:) I am huge into fitness so my favorite thing is going for a walk to get my steps in, never better when my pup can join!! I work full time Tuesday-Friday, so I am available on Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays! Week days I am available to walk in the evenings! I have a 2 year old 18lb pup that loves to play! My home has a big yard, slightly back in the woods - not fenced in but surrounded by trees. I do crate my pup when I leave for work or errands.

About: I’ve been around all types of animals my entire life. I grew up with snakes, lizards, mice, dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, etc. I have had the privilege of taking care of other people’s animals since I was 10 years old. I have worked with senior animals, medical needs animals, puppies/kittens, and animals of all sizes and shapes. I am a full time teacher during the school year, but am available until the end of August most days and then will be available after 3 PM weekdays and most weekends. When watching another persons animal, I like to provide a sense of normalcy for the animal as they often can be confused by a new person. I work to ensure the animal knows that it’s still cared for and loved.
