“Karen did a wonderful job walking our dogs. We have one very high energy dog that can be difficult to walk until he releases energy and she handled him with such ease! Both of my dogs came back from each walk completely exhausted, it was perfect and exactly what we wanted! Karen was so lovely and we look forward to having her walk our dogs again!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them since I was five gave me the chance to learn firsthand how to care for different breeds with all kinds of personalities and needs. Somewhere along the way, taking care of dogs just became second nature to me. I’m currently a college student at the University of North Florida, and even with a busy schedule, I always make time for the dogs in my life. I am also in Delta Gamma sorority and I love doing volunteer work I go to the human society a lot with my sorority. My first pup was a super energetic Jack Russell who kept me on my toes and showed me the importance of regular exercise and mental stimulation. Later on, I got experience with bigger breeds like a Great Dane and an English Bull Mastiff—both gentle giants that taught me patience and how to handle mobility and health concerns with care. I’ve also looked after a smart and active Brittany Spaniel mix, a trio of fun-loving Labradors, and now my two mini Goldendoodles who are all about snuggles, grooming, and consistency. Each dog has taught me something different, and I’ve really come to appreciate how important it is to adjust care based on their unique needs and personalities. Whether it’s a puppy full of energy or a senior dog who moves a little slower, I’m confident in my ability to provide the kind of attention and care they deserve. I love being active, I’m super dependable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs—which is why I think I’d be a great fit for Rover dog walking. I’m all about keeping dogs happy, safe, and feeling loved, and giving pet parents peace of mind while I do it. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I prioritize providing consistent, quality care. I schedule walks, playtime, and check-ins around my other responsibilities while still being a college student at UNF, ensuring each pet receives the attention they deserve. I’m flexible and adaptable, making it easy to accommodate different schedules and pet needs. I prioritize safety by following each pet’s routine, using secure leashes, and being attentive during walks. I ensure a clean, comfortable environment, respecting clients’ homes while providing care. I communicate regularly with pet owners, offering updates for peace of mind and building trust through reliable, compassionate service.

“Shera was an absolute gem who took great care of my pup. I had to come up from Gainesville for an appointment in Jacksonville and she happily agreed to meet me and took Harry for a long walk while I was busy. Shera is a lovely confident young lady who will instill confidence in you the second you meet her. I would confidentially recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Thanks Shera!”

“Ashley did a great job with my dog. She has great communication. She sent several pictures to me, and my dog looked very happy. Ashley is also very prompt. I will definitely have her walk my dog again.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, and more. I’m not allowed to have any pets where I live now, so I have endless patience for everyone else’s pets. I miss having animals in my life so I’m grateful for the chance to keep your pets happy while you’re away! My schedule is very flexible. I work from home so I can go to clients’ homes and stay with pets for a couple hours or stop by a few times a day. I’m also available most weekends. I’m unable to care for pets in my home but at clients’ homes I plan to follow all their rules and spend as much time playing outside with dogs and playing inside with other animals as possible.

“Cassie is awesome! My dog loves her, and she clearly enjoys being around animals. She is great at communicating and updating us. We will definitely be using her for a long time!”

“Paige did great! We had to book someone last minute and she really came through. She was open to all the details regarding walking our puppy and provided pictures and descriptions! Highly recommend!”

“Jenna does such an incredible job with my pup butts. I am so grateful for Jenna’s patience when I made a mistake to the schedule. 15/10 would recommend as my pups love her and she always does a phenomenal job communicating with me.”

“Brittany has been a gem for us and our dog, Jameson. She is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Jameson looks forward to her visits and comes back happy and well-exercised. We couldn't ask for a better dog walker. Highly recommend!”

About: Most people teach dogs tricks. I help dogs find peace. I specialize in grounding high-energy, anxious, or shelter-raised dogs into calm, balanced companions. With a quiet home, a spacious yard, and structured daily walks, I create the conditions dogs need to reset their nervous systems. Whether your dog is easygoing or a handful, I meet them where they are — and lead them where they need to go. I’m not just a dog-sitter — I’m a calm, structured presence. I got my start fostering dogs from the shelter. Following the teachings of Caesar Milan, I was astounded how quickly wound up, hyper dogs can learn to let go and feel safe. Dogs don’t just stay with me; they reset with me. I understand how to lead, not just entertain. Whether it’s leash manners, excessive barking, or anxious pacing, I address the root of the behavior by giving dogs the one thing they crave most: leadership. When they leave my home, they’re calmer, more confident, and more connected. My home is safe, secure, and peaceful. Dogs are kept in a calm state here, with clear boundaries and zero chaos. The backyard is large and fully enclosed with a high 6-foot fence — plenty of room to roam, sniff, and reset. Inside the home, the energy is stable and quiet. No kids, no clutter, no overstimulation. Just a grounded environment where your dog can relax, decompress, and feel safe at all times.

About: If you're looking for trustworthy, energetic, and compassionate pet sitting, I'm your gal! I grew up with dogs and cats and I am now the proud owner of three rescues. Your pet's health and happiness will always be my top priority. Based in the heart of Jacksonville, FL, I have a flexible schedule with availability during the week, on weekends, during the day, and at night. If you're choosing a boarding option at my house, I have a fenced-in backyard with artificial turf that dogs love to play on. The backyard also has a mini pet pool and an easy bathing station for post-play cleanup. Though my dogs are crate-trained and have a routine with time in and time out, your pet can stick to their normal schedule as if they were at home.

About: Hi there! I have over 3 years of hands-on experience working at Pet Paradise and Dogtopia, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. On top of that, I’ve been a lifelong pet owner—dogs, cats, hamsters, and even snakes! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, your pets will always feel safe and loved with me. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I start and end my days with my own two cats, Anais and Cleo, so I’m already in the rhythm of feedings, walks, and playtime. I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for drop-ins, walks, or sitting, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in your home, I respect both your space and your pet’s routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes. I take extra care with things like locking up, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they’re comfortable in their own environment. You can trust that your home and pets will be safe and well cared for.

“Johnston took great care of our sweet Peach. Peach had plenty of water and was calm from the long walk and time Johnston spent with her. Her blanket and toys were set out like I had requested.”

About: I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of caring for beloved pets since I was young, and I truly understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease while they’re away. My goal is always to provide the same love and attention your pet gets at home - so you can relax, knowing they’re in good hands. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including those as young as 3–4 weeks old, and I’ve helped train basic commands like sit, down, and speak. I’m also comfortable caring for senior dogs and have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to making sure they take their medications without fuss. If needed, I’m happy to trim your dog’s nails as part of their care - just let me know! I work from home Monday through Friday until 4 PM, which gives me the flexibility to provide evening and late-night visits during the week. I’m also fully available on weekends, so I can accommodate visits throughout the day, whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night. Because I work remotely, my schedule is consistent and reliable - perfect for building a routine that keeps your pet happy and cared for while you're away. I do my best to keep up with my calendar and communicate as effectively as possible to ensure everyone is on the same page. (If I have a day or a few days marked “unavailable “ it is because I have a few clients that do not have a rover account set up. Please reach out still and we can figure it out!) Thank you! I truly treat every fur baby as if they were my own - making sure they feel loved, safe, and secure at all times. If they have a favorite toy, we’re playing with it. If they love walks, we’re out enjoying fresh air together. “Treat others the same way you wish to be treated yourself” is the same way I like to think of taking care of your fur babies!

“Having observed Jordan interact with my dog on numerous occasions, I feel comfortable giving an enthusiastic and wholehearted recommendation for her performance as a responsible and loving dog caregiver. When spending time with my dog, Jordan is constantly patient and gentle with him, while still maintaining a good sense of order and discipline with him. Each time Jordan walks in the door, my dog immediately perks up and runs to greet her. When Jordan is in the house, my dog is never more than a step away from her. Knowing what I have seen in Jordan's interactions with my dog, and knowing that dog's are the best judge of character, I am happy to recommend Jordan as an excellent source of dog care.”
