“Mav came home and immediately laid down for a nap! Must have played hard and had lots of fun! He even ate his food which he doesn’t like to do at other people’s houses. Thank you for taking such a good care of him Monique!”

2. Carrie K.

“Carrie and Mark are amazing with our little guy Ollie! He plays with the kitty Bennie, and gets lots of walks and play time in! He loves it so much there he runs right to the door without a second glance at me!”

3. Steven & Diane L.

6. Mary L.

“Tubby had an awesome time at Mary’s! He’s a super friendly, high-energy dog so having a few other dogs around to play with worked really well for him - and for us, since he was super tired when we got home! It was our first time to use Rover and we found Mary to be really professional and pleasant to talk to. She is quick to respond to inquiries and is very detailed and honest in her responses. I also appreciate how Mary and Tom did the meet-and-greet, where they made sure the dogs are not around when Tubby first came into their home. They let him do a little exploring, then let him out into the yard, where they started introducing him to the other dogs one by one. They were also very patient in answering my questions. Overall we had a great experience leaving Tubby for daycare at Mary’s and looking forward to booking them again. :)”

7. Aish K.

“Thank you for a great first daycare experience for our pup. Aish treated him like her own and provided photos throughout the day. Til next time 😊”

8. Amanda F.

“This is the second time our dog has gone to Amanda, and it has been a positive experience both times. She does some nice long walks and our boy loves that! He comes home good and tired! She’s a very nice person who seems to care for our pup the way she would care for her own. Definitely recommend and will be back again!”

9. Sheryl G.

“I can't speak highly enough about how well Sheryl cared for my dog during a weeklong stay. She kept me updated on how Kira was settling into a full schedule of walks and treats. Sheryl's love of animals is obvious and taking good care of Kira felt more like a priority than a pasttime for her. I will definitely seek out her services in the future.”

10. Marill W.

“Marill was just wonderful! She's clearly a dog-lover, and Ollie had a fabulous time at her house! He played all day with her other dogs (as is evidenced by the many great photos and videos she sent me throughout the day), and came home last night happy and exhausted. He slept 15 hours straight! The idea was for him to get some energy out, and let me get some work done - so mission accomplished! I'll definitely rebook with Marill.”

11. Rachel D.

“Rachel was so kind and patient with Ava! She did great with Mauer and made sure Ava didn't overheat in the hot ? weather! Rachel sent updates and photos throughout the day, which we appreciated!”

12. Donald M.
“Don will be a fantastic sitter for your dog! He is friendly, caring, responsible, and professional. He has taken care of dogs his whole life, big and small, and will take care of your dog just as his own. I think you’ll find Don easy to work with and provide great peace of mind while you are away from your furry friend.”

About: I am a retired teacher who has owned a beagle mix, poodles, golden retrievers, and a husky. I currently have two 12 year old mellow labs at home, pet sit my mini golden doodle grand dogs periodically and occasionally watch a friend’s terrier. I have experience with puppies, as well as with elderly dogs and attended obedience training with my husky. I'm a homebody, so I will be at home with your dog/s at nearly all times. Your pet won’t have to be crated in my home unless preferred. There is a twin bed for the dogs in what should be the living room. There is a queen back chair for the dogs in a bedroom. I have a large fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around and play. I take our dogs for a 30-40 minute walk on the nearby sidewalk and paved trail every day. I’ve taken my granddogs on 3 walks a day and I’ve taken a younger dog for another walk after bringing the labs home from a group walk and am open to walking options for your dog/s. Ideally I will pet sit some dogs on a regular basis. Preferably I will watch one families dog/s at a time. Being that I am a retired teacher, I am able to provide 24/7 care for your pet - any day or night of the week. Drop off and pick up can be scheduled at any time. We have two friendly 12 year old labs who are socialized to people and other dogs. I have a large fenced in backyard and let the dogs out before their morning and late afternoon feedings and otherwise let them go out and in at will. I will watch the dogs eat their meals and will feed your dog in a safe space if it seems anxious. Your dog/s will get plenty of attention because I will be here other than for short errands if they are necessary. I will take your dog/s on a daily 30-40 minute walk along with our own dogs on the nearby sidewalk/paved trail. I am open to taking your dog/s on more than one walk and/or on another walk after dropping our labs off at home. I will crate your pets if requested.

18. Samantha C.
About: I have had animals my entire life, including having and caring for my own animals as an adult. In addition to supporting families through Rover, I also pet sit for friends and family. I am comfortable with navigating puppy care and introducing animals of different ages, temperaments, etc. I have experience with animals and medication delivery as I had a 21-year-old cat who utilized twice daily medications throughout a few years' time and have delivered meds to dogs as well over the years. I am comfortable supporting training as well as behavior modification is a strong interest and passion of mine with supporting an animal’s (and your) day-to-day life and finding what can be positively rewarding for them. I currently groom my dog and am open to additional services if interested such as: cat nail trimming, bathing, dog bathing and grooming, transporting your dog for nail trims or grooming. If your fur baby is staying with me in our home, they will be treated with all the love and attention ours receive! I know being away from your little one(s) can be hard so I will take your lead with updates as far as frequency and content. Generally, I will provide 1-2 updates per day with pictures of them so you can see how they’re doing ❤️🐾. I work in behavioral health and am looking for a way to give in a way that has supported me in the past and Rover feels like a great fit as someone who has leaned on support for others many times with my fur babies. I am currently home full time and my partner works from home as well for a majority of the week. Our home is home to a 9-year-old dog as well as two rambunctious kittens. We are very mindful of the different things that animals may be able to get into because of this. Our yard currently has a lead to allow your dog to go outside. We have crate trained and use this with our dog and are comfortable doing this with yours if wished and also use baby door stoppers to keep some doors where things like cat food or litter boxes may be open for the kitties while still keeping the space off limits as needed for dog safety :)

19. Liz V.
“It's always nerve-racking leaving your pet while your away especially with someone you found on facebook, but Liz has always been awesome with my pup (George) and I can see he genuine love for dogs. I have left George with Liz for on multiple occasions and it has always been fantastic. She sends us pictures everyday and you can see he had a great time! It helps that there is always plenty of play time and many walks. I think the biggest sign that he enjoys the time is that he is excited when I drop him off with Liz.”

20. Heidi & Torey L.
“We think of our fur baby as part of the family and would not think to leave her with just anyone. Then we found Heidi and she was amazing. She cared for our Luna as if she was part of her family. I am so thank for that we found a trusting human friend for our fur baby.”
