Gabby looked happy when i picked her up - easily going back to Marill to say good bye to her. Very reassuring experience. “I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: Dogs I’ve owned include Samoyed, golden retriever, American pitbull terrier, and a large mutt. I have dog sat a variety of large and small breeds. I am self employed as a freelance graphic designer and work remotely. This is the first time in my life I don’t own a dog. I have a large home and the dogs I care for can curl up on the couch or follow sunny spots around the house with the large windows.

About: I have had animals my entire life, including having and caring for my own animals as an adult. In addition to supporting families through Rover, I also pet sit for friends and family. I am comfortable with navigating puppy care and introducing animals of different ages, temperaments, etc. I have experience with animals and medication delivery as I had a 21-year-old cat who utilized twice daily medications throughout a few years' time and have delivered meds to dogs as well over the years. I am comfortable supporting training as well as behavior modification is a strong interest and passion of mine with supporting an animal’s (and your) day-to-day life and finding what can be positively rewarding for them. I currently groom my dog and am open to additional services if interested such as: cat nail trimming, bathing, dog bathing and grooming, transporting your dog for nail trims or grooming. If your fur baby is staying with me in our home, they will be treated with all the love and attention ours receive! I know being away from your little one(s) can be hard so I will take your lead with updates as far as frequency and content. Generally, I will provide 1-2 updates per day with pictures of them so you can see how they’re doing ❤️🐾. I work in behavioral health and am looking for a way to give in a way that has supported me in the past and Rover feels like a great fit as someone who has leaned on support for others many times with my fur babies. I am currently home full time and my partner works from home as well for a majority of the week so someone will almost always be home with your little one ❤️ Our home is home to a 9-year-old dog as well as two rambunctious kittens. We are very mindful of the different things that animals may be able to get into because of this. Our yard currently has a lead to allow your dog to go outside. We have crate trained and use this with our dog and are comfortable doing this with yours if wished and also use baby door stoppers to keep some doors where things like cat food or litter boxes may be open for the kitties while still keeping the space off limits as needed for dog safety :)

About: I am a retired elementary P.E. teacher who has owned a beagle mix, poodles, golden retrievers, labrador retrievers and a husky. I currently have a 13 year old yellow lab at home, pet sit my two mini golden doodle grand dogs periodically and occasionally watch a friend’s terrier. I have experience with puppies, as well as with elderly dogs and attended obedience training with my husky. I will be at home with your dog/s at nearly all times. I substitute teach part time and have the flexibility to schedule on days when I am not pet sitting. Your pet won’t be crated in my home unless requested by you. I do have various sized crates with dog beds that I sometimes set up and leave open for dogs to go in and out of at will. A twin bed for dogs is in the living room and a queen back chair for dogs in a bedroom. I have a large fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around and play. I take a walk every day on the nearby sidewalk and paved trail or through the woods nearby and am open to you specifying the number of daily walks and the time of day or night to walk your dogs. Being that I am a retired teacher, I am able to provide 24/7 care for your pet. Drop off and pick up can be scheduled at any time. Walking is my favorite pastime and I love to take dogs on walks with me. Your dog/s will get plenty of attention because I will be here other than for short errands if they are necessary. I have a large fenced in backyard and let the dogs out before their morning and late afternoon feedings and otherwise let them go out and in at will. I will feed your dog in a safe space and watch them eat their meals. We have one 13 year old yellow lab who is socialized to people and other dogs. Dogs tend to hang out in the kitchen with me, in the living room on the next level that overlooks the kitchen or at the top of the stairs between those two rooms. I will take your dog/s on a daily walk on the nearby sidewalk and paved trails and am open to walking them shorter distances and/or more frequently based on your preference. They are allowed in our bedrooms and may sleep on our beds if permitted by you.

About: I've been taking care of my own animals since I was 8 years old. I grew up with multiple pets in my house hold. I raised a chinchilla to be 18 and my oldest dog was almost 16. Our family recently moved to the area and I’m just getting back into Rover. I'm currently a teacher so I have plenty of time to check in on your animal(s). I have a flexible schedule in the summer so I will try to work with your schedule. I am able to check in on your animal(s), give them attention, take them for a walk, and feed them/give them potty breaks. If there is bad weather or the animal needs extra attention (for longer periods of time) they can hang out in my home with me. I have three friendly golden dogs!

About: Ive been around animals since I was a child & I can’t think of time I haven’t had a pet to love and care for. My partner and I know firsthand how deeply pets become part of the family, we recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of our beloved fur baby. That loss reminded us just how precious every moment with them truly is. Since then, we’ve welcomed a sweet new puppy into our home, who has filled our days with joy, play, and lots of snuggles. Because of this journey, I bring not only love and patience, but also a deep understanding of how important your pet is to you. My partner works and is often away a lot, so it’s usually just me at home with our pup and I’d be so happy to give your pet the same love, care, and companionship. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and right at home :-) I live in a townhome but have access to plenty of parks (walking distance) from me where we can run around & walk around the trails.
