Doggy Day Care in Cedar Lake

About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

He played all day with her other dogs (as is evidenced by the many great photos and videos she sent me throughout the day), and came home last night happy and exhausted. He slept 15 hours straight! The idea was for him to get some energy out, and let me get some work done - so mission accomplished! I'll definitely rebook with Marill.”

I am home during the day to take long nature walks , play fetch and potty breaks . We have a golden retriever & she will be glad to play with your dog and make sure they don’t get bored! I take my own dog for daily walks so I’m also happy to walk your pup during the day. I have a large yard to take walks . I have one sweet golden retriever who loves dogs and cats. At night we can kennel or stay out .

I have a super friendly dog, Spencer who will be here for some play time, too. I am at home with my dog Spencer, so I will have plenty of time to play, cuddle, go on walks, and care for your dog. Your dog will feel loved and right at home here. I have a partially fenced yard, and a sturdy tie out for potty breaks, or just lounging on the patio. “I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and you will receive tons of pictures throughout the day! We have flexible jobs where we can work from home so your dog will always have someone to hang out with. Our house has a very large fenced in backyard where the critters can run around and chase all the rabbits and squirrels out. Your pup will have full access to the entire house including all of the furniture and beds. Please let me know if you would like to set up a meet and greet to ensure that all our furry critters get along. Also, we do NOT have a cat. Not sure why Rover shows that we do. My husband and I both work hybrid and someone will always be home with the dogs to hang out with them, let them out, etc. We have a fenced in yard that allows for the dogs to have fun outside. Dogs will have access to all furniture while inside. We can also crate them if needed.

I got updates on how he was doing that included photos and showed me he was feeling at ease and having a good time. About: I've been taking care of my own animals since I was 8 years old. I grew up with multiple pets in my house hold. I raised a chinchilla to be 18 and my oldest dog was almost 16. Our family recently moved to the area and I’m just getting back into Rover. I'm currently a teacher so I have plenty of time to check in on your animal(s). I have a flexible schedule in the summer so I will try to work with your schedule. I am able to check in on your animal(s), give them attention, take them for a walk, and feed them/give them potty breaks. If there is bad weather or the animal needs extra attention (for longer periods of time) they can hang out in my home with me. I have three friendly golden dogs!

About: I work from home full time and have the capability and desire to have a cuddly fur baby around, snuggles, walks and lots of love a must. I like watching 1 dog at a time but if they are from the same family, please feel free to reach out if there are 2. I am able to be flexible. Since I work from home full time I am available to watch your fur baby during the day, night, boarding and on weekends if needed I would take them on walks when I could during the day, snuggles, some play time and rest when needed. Plenty of food and water, no fenced in back yard.

About: Family of 4 animal lovers! We’ve had pets our entire lives and for the past year have been helping with dog fostering. Our two daughters love to help so your pet will receive plenty of attention, love, and playtime in our fully fenced backyard! I work from home so your pet will rarely be alone and will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. Pets are family here and are welcome to any furniture during their stay. We’d love to care for yours like one of our own! Our backyard is quite spacious and fully fenced in. If you’d like, we can definitely take your dog for a walk as our neighborhood is in a quiet suburb of Prior Lake without through traffic (our kids bike around with no fear). We also have two friendly cats who mostly keep to themselves (or cuddle with each other!) and will happily give your dog space.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid. Even though my parents wouldnt let us get one, I have had them in my adult years. Most recently a cavapoo. I'm the type to get down on their level and be their best friend through playing or snuggling. I work from home full time and currently live by myself. I have no pets at the moment so let me watch yours! If I have to drive my kids (dont live with me) anywhere, I could either crate your dog or bring them with on a car ride. My kids love dogs just as much as I do. I dont have any pets with me, but I've had one dog that was crate trained and another that had the run of the house when the family was gone. I'll make whatever works for your dog work for me.

About: I am a loving and dependable person; a wife and stay-at-home mom of 3 children. I live in a smoke-free environment with three responsible, independent children that adore animals. I have had past experience with pets but have none in our home at this time. This leaves room for lots of attention and love for the dogs I care for. With attention to detail accompanied by a fun-loving family, I would provide a safe and caring place for your fur-baby! I homeschool, as a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to be available most days, having time to care for your pet as needed. Need to travel for the holidays? I am a home-body during most special seasons and may be available to watch your pet. I have a fenced in back yard with ample space to move around. I live in a smaller, quieter development with lots of dog-loving neighbors! I am willing to administer needed medications (oral and topical) per pet's daily protocol.
