We both grew up in dog‑loving homes, and for the past 8 years we’ve been raising our own family dog from puppyhood into adulthood. My schedule is 7:00am–3:00pm, so I'm usually home earlier in the afternoon, and my husband works 8:00am–5:00pm. We provide a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment for every pup we host. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor play, and our friendly 8‑year‑old golden retriever loves having company and helps new dogs feel comfortable right away. Inside, dogs have plenty of space to relax and be part of our daily routine. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with five at a time—mostly black labs and black lab/German shepherd mixes—so I’m very used to bigger, stronger dogs. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

“I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”
About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and you will receive tons of pictures throughout the day! We have flexible jobs where we can work from home so your dog will always have someone to hang out with. Our house has a very large fenced in backyard where the critters can run around and chase all the rabbits and squirrels out. Your pup will have full access to the entire house including all of the furniture and beds. Please let me know if you would like to set up a meet and greet to ensure that all our furry critters get along. Also, we do NOT have a cat. Not sure why Rover shows that we do. My husband and I both work hybrid and someone will always be home with the dogs to hang out with them, let them out, etc. We have a fenced in yard that allows for the dogs to have fun outside. Dogs will have access to all furniture while inside. We can also crate them if needed.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid. Even though my parents wouldnt let us get one, I have had them in my adult years. Most recently a cavapoo. I'm the type to get down on their level and be their best friend through playing or snuggling. I work from home full time and currently live by myself. I have no pets at the moment so let me watch yours! If I have to drive my kids (dont live with me) anywhere, I could either crate your dog or bring them with on a car ride. My kids love dogs just as much as I do. I dont have any pets with me, but I've had one dog that was crate trained and another that had the run of the house when the family was gone.
