“Shauna was amazing- she’s all the things you’d like in a pet sitter- reliable, communicative, thoughtful, and kind. We’ll definitely be using her again. Thank you Shauna!”

About: I have been caring for pets since childhood, growing up surrounded by animals. In my teenage years, I volunteered at animal shelters and continued through college, even working with penguins at an aquarium. My family always had both dogs and cats, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, ages, and personalities. First time on Rover? Here is 20$ OFF your first Rover booking! Code: POLAO76648 (https://www.rover.com/sit/polao76648) I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to take pets out for walks, play, and provide attention throughout the day. My partner is in the Air Force and often has some flexibility in the evenings, so he’s also able to help with pet care—whether that’s walks, playtime, or giving your dog some extra exercise. We have a small fenced yard and two sweet dogs (plus cats) for companionship. Your pet will have a safe, friendly environment and can enjoy plenty of playtime.

About: With hands-on experience caring for everything from sloths and anteaters to dogs, cats, and bunnies, I bring a unique level of expertise to every pet I meet. I’ve worked with exotic and domestic animals alike—including birds, reptiles, and small mammals—and I’m trained in wound care and medication administration. More than anything, I’m deeply loving, attentive, and committed to giving each animal the same care I’d give my own. Pet care is a natural part of my weekly routine, and I’ve made sure to set aside dedicated time for it. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Sundays, perfect for longer visits or multiple check-ins. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m available in the afternoons and evenings, and on Thursdays, I’m free after 4 PM. This schedule allows me to give your pets the attention, care, and consistency they deserve throughout the week. When I do drop-in visits, your pet becomes my top priority. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, administering medications, or just providing comfort and company, I make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. You can relax knowing I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated every step of the way.

“We are so grateful for this couple! They were so understanding and took care of our kitty. They sent daily photos and videos while we were away. They have a quick response time and are very accommodating!”

“It was my first time with Rover, and we are thrilled to say that Lauren was fantastic all around! Our dog Meko's meeting day went smoothly and quickly thanks to Lauren, who was fantastic. She was considerate and accommodating to our dog's preferences and requirements. We had drop in visits and She did a good job of vocalizing the need to arrive a bit early or later if there were any delays. She was easy to get along with and was quick to reply to text messages! I'm happy to share that Lauren watched our dog while I was away, so there were no problems or worries on my mind! I would unquestionably suggest Lauren to anyone who has never used Rover!”

About: I have many years of experience with all types, sizes and breeds of animals but dogs are my real passion. I am certified in positive reinforcement dog trainer and am passionate about animal care and enrichment. I strive to ensure that all animals I am charged with have the best experience with me. I can handle separation anxiety and behavior problems and can work towards a solution for them. I have two dogs of my own currently: 1 large breed and a giant breed. I run my own dog training business so my schedule is pretty flexible. When I am staying at someone's else's home, I am at that home except for training sessions during the day elsewhere. I also go home each evening to have dinner with my family. I care for pets in their own home in whatever way you find best for them. I can be there as much or as little as you want depending on my schedule that day. I do not leave the dogs without having a potty break for more than 4-5 hours and always ensure that they get at least 2 extended periods of time to run around and play with me present if I'm not staying the night. If an overnight stay is requested, I am happy to have animals sleep with me if that's what they're used to or if they need a little extra reassurance. I want them to be as comfortable as possible while their family is away!

About: I have had dogs my whole life, and currently have 2 dogs. I would love to help keep your pets happy and healthy while you’re away! I walk my own dogs early in the morning, and make sure they get plenty of exercise during the day. We go on excursions once a week to keep things interesting. I have a fenced in yard, but am completely comfortable going for walks or drives as well. I always make sure pets are supervised when outdoors, as accidents can happen easily. I also make sure plenty of water is always available.
