About: We moved to Cherry Valley 2 years ago. I am a dog mom of two sweet and passive poodle mix girls (no children). I work full-time online as a college professor so I am home with my dogs during the day. I have a doctorate in Teaching and Learning, MA in Educational Leadership, and a BA in English. I used to be a k-12 classroom teacher before teaching college online full-time. I am am passionate about animals. I have a large fenced yard. My neighborhood is quiet and pedestrian friendly. I love all dogs! I’m used to caring for dogs from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience with insulin dependent pups and deaf dogs. I love chihuahuas to mastiffs. About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life. I’ve cared for animals ranging from mice to horses. I have worked in vet clinics and have done a lot of research on my own time. They are my passion. I currently have the most experience in dogs. I’m actively an apprentice with a local dog trainer to be a positive reinforcement force free trainer. I am also studying canine behavior. I have experience in doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming. I have administered medications ranging from oral medicine to injections (subq and intermuscular). During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. My weekends can be a bit more busy, but I can be flexible in working with your needs. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs to stretch their legs, enjoy the outdoors, and of course relieve themselves. Indoors, I do have crates available if your dogs needs some alone, quiet time. About: I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted .
