About: I have always had a dog or multiple dogs in my life. I treat them like family. My friends come to me when they need their dogs watched! I am currently unemployed. I had experience working with animals at Petco and I had a previous job working with puppies from age 8weeks up and LOVED it! I would like to do it again. I have two chihuahuas that are allowed to have free roam of the house and yard. They know their boundaries and do not get leashed in the yard. They are allowed on anything but the counters and table! Sleep with me every night and go on walks. I have one with allergies to grass and he gets bathed regularly.
“Chanse was top tier and made my puppy’s stay the best it could be! She worked with him on his house breaking, playing with her children, helping him fall asleep when anxious, and helping when he had an upset tummy by feeding him chicken and rice. This was my first time boarding my puppy and I have to say, working with Chanse was well worth the 45 minute drive out to Janesville. Thank you so much Chanse, I will definitely be booking again with you on my next trip!”

“Sarah and her pack did awesome!!! Can't thank her enough for taking in Winnie on such short notice. When I picked up Winnie I was taken back at how much Winnie had bonded with Sarah in such a short period of time. Sarah was aware of Winnie's IBD issues and updated me on how she did. I really appreciated her for that!!!! This family definitely loves dogs!!!”

“Brandi was WONDERFUL. She was so welcoming and accommodating despite us intruding on a holiday weekend, and so welcoming of our Pup. Throughout our days of doggy daycare, we received updates and pictures and video of our Piper enjoying her stay and new friends, and at the end of each day, we received a very happy (and very ready-to-go-home-and-nap) dog. We used her back-to-back for two days, and Piper recognized she was going got another visit on Day 2 when we turned down Brandi's road, and immediately started crying excitedly in anticipation, all but pulling me out of the car when we opened the door! It's a shame we're not closer to Janesville for regular use of booking, but if we're ever needing to go through the area en route to our destinations, Brandi will be our first choice for daycare or boarding.”

About: I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted . They love our fenced in backyard and my daughter and I walk them every day as a team. When Taylor was a toddler we would go out and visit grandma and aunt / sister and give chino her dog lots of love and walks. Also in the last 5 years my late moms dog rosie who was also adopted. Dogs are great.

“Whiskey had a great time with Heather and her daughter! I loved that she kept me updated with pictures of how he was doing. Will definitely be bringing him back to have more fun!!:)”

“Absolutely amazing experience with our dog sitters! 🐾 They took such incredible care of my mini dachshunds, Nugget and Muffin, and treated them like their own. I got updates, photos, and total peace of mind while I was away. It’s obvious how much they truly love animals, and my pups came home happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. Nugget and Muffin can be a little spoiled and needy at times, but they were so patient, attentive, and loving with them. I honestly couldn’t ask for better people to trust with my dogs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitters! 💕”

“Nicole is absolutely wonderful. I came to her with a dog who was super anxious at his last sitter (to no fault of the sitter), stubborn, and a senior, and she is so understanding and kind. Ollie is vocal and set in his ways, and she was able to make his experience super positive and he really seemed to like her. I will absolutely be booking her anytime she is available, and as long as she wants Ollie back.”

I offer expert level care for medically complex cases and a fear free approach for anxious pets. I have experience working with anxious and aggressive dogs as well as competition trained dogs. Being crate trained is a must for overnight stays. I do have 1 large crate here but encourage you to bring your pet's crate from home if able. Self- employed with a flexible schedule, I have all day availability and can also do early morning and late evening drop ins. I only take 1 client at a time so that I can give your pet the care and attention they deserve. Because I only take one client at a time, I can offer a stress free stay for animal aggressive pets. “This was our first experience leaving our dogs at day care. We were nervous, but everything went great. Evelyn took wonderful care of them, took every nuance into consideration (one of our dogs is still a puppy), was always in touch and sent us cute pictures. The dogs came home stress free. Definitely recommended and we will be back again.”

Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. “Theresa was very nice and very accommodating. She sent pictures of our Goshi and I am sure Goshi had a great time as he was all pooped out when we got home. Thank you Theresa for taking care of Goshi!”

“Kate is amazing! Not only does she send you updates but she also is consistent with the training you and your dog are working on. She treated my dog like it was her own and I feel like my dog is so safe with her. Definitely going to Kate again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 334 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Orfordville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Orfordville commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 334 sitters in Orfordville, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
