“Mary was wonderful and caring! She was very communicative and flexible with schedules. She was accommodating of my dog’s quirks and preferences. My dog returned home very relaxed compared to other boarding experiences. We’ll definitely keep Mary in mind for the future.”

“This was our second time leaving our puppy with Theresa. She sent several pictures and he had a wonderful time. He was excited to be back there and he is very well cared for with her. She gives him lots of attention!”

“Sumer was so good with my pup! She also sent me pictures about every other day, which really helped set me at ease. She is super sweet, and I will definitely use her again! 💜”

“Tanya was the best scenario we could have hoped for. We had a last minute booking that she was available for for our three month old puppy and as this was our very first booking on Rover, I was immediately put at ease at our first meet and greet. She was professional and personable, answered all of our questions, and of course loved on our dog! We got pictures and videos every day we were gone and to top it off, the sweetest thank you gift in her dog bag when we picked her up ❤️ Tanya is a masterclass in dog sitting!”

“Our 15 month old Maltipoo had never spent a night apart from us and had limited interaction with other dogs. We had a need for an overnight stay and decided to try Rover which led us to Emily and Thomas as they lived close by. We are so very thankful that we found them! They spent three days in a week leading up to the stay having Charlie come over for walks and spent time inside their place trying to get him used to a new environment. They were so patient with him and so kind to him. They sent pictures and videos to help reassure us that he was doing well. They really went above and beyond in every way and we can recommend them highly enough! We can’t wait to have them sit with Charlie again later this summer and have him play with Monster! Thank you, Emily and Thomas!”

“First time staying with Christine, - our dog Toph felt right at home and we felt very safe leaving her while on vacation. Our dog had an incident right before we left so I definitely had some anxiety being away from her so shortly after. Christine updated us frequently and shared advice from her experience as a dog trainer/handler. Her dogs were wonderful playmates and allowed our dog to make new friends. Overall took excellent care and truly cared about our dog as if it were her own.”

“Brandi is so great with my active 1yo cockapoo. Hank even jumped in the shower with her LoL. Updates and photos while he was in her care and a personalized bag of treats for home when he left! Thank you Brandi for awesome care of my boy😘”

“There are no words to express how thankful we are. Traci and her family made our family feel completely at ease while we were away for the very first time. This was our first experience leaving our baby with someone else, and trusting another family to care for him was a big step for us. Traci and her family treated our boy as if he were their own. She kept us updated, which we deeply appreciated, and you can see in the photos just how comfortable and safe he felt. That alone gave us so much peace of mind. For anyone considering care, we highly recommend Traci and her family. They are truly the best. And their dog, Wilfred — the cutest, kindest boy ever — made the experience even sweeter.”

About: We have had a dog or dogs for over 20 years. My husband and I both grew up with dogs as well. Our two dogs have been with us since they were puppies and both of them attended three levels of dog training classes. I work part-time very early in the morning and we spend a lot of time at home because my kids are homeschooled. There is usually always someone at home. I will do as much as I can to accommodate the dog owner’s preference in care for their dog. We have two dogs that can play with your dog. If your dog needs to be in a crate I can accommodate that. Our dogs are not allowed on the couches and chairs but my children do let them sleep in their beds.

“Stacy welcomed my dog into her house and treated him as her own. Rudy loved playing and snuggling with her family! She communicated well and made sure she understood his needs. I will use Stacy again.”

“I feel like we have found a diamond in the rough. Jacqueline, Kris and Bella are so kind and truly are dog lovers. We received updates with pictures during Piper's stay. Their fenced in yard was perfect for Piper to run and sniff. Cannot say enough positive remarks regarding the excellent care Piper received. We highly recommend Jacqueline's family for daycare or boarding, and will be boarding again in the future!”

“Jilly was great! We appreciated her quick response to our request. Charlie seemed to really enjoy his stay at the farm. Jilly also shared updates and photos with us which was really nice.”

“Jennifer was great! It helped us relax on our trip knowing our dog was with someone who was treating her like their own dog. Our dog was able to play outside in the fenced yard, snuggle a bunch and treated like a part of their family. We will definitely use Jennifer for another future trip! Thanks so much!”

About: I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. I currently have one nine year old Chihuahua mix on seizure medicine twice a day. We have a fenced in yard with a chain link fence perfect for letting your dog run around. I am usually up by 5am to go for a run or cycle. I work from home regularly so I can be flexible with letting the dogs out. I have a fenced in yard with one friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company. I have cameras in the home to keep an eye on the pups if I do need to run out.
“Brittany was very sweet and easy going. She took excellent care of our dog and sent picture updates while we were gone. We will definitely contact her in the future when we need pet sitting again!”

About: Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to roam in my home plus a fenced in backyard. I've had dogs in the home since I was child and have been caring full-time for my dog for 7 years. I have previous experience with in-home boarding for some of my co-workers and have cared for dogs with nervous bladders. I currently work full time, but am always home in the evenings for plenty of playtime and walks. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times with at least a day's notice to work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam inside my home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture or in bed if they need some extra cuddle time. I can crate your dogs if needed during the day and my own pup is crate trained for while I'm away.
About: I had a golden-lab for 6 years until we lost him to cancer earlier this year. My kiddos and I miss him a ton and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby until we are ready to get another dog of our own. I work fully from home so I have a lot of flexibility all week and any weekends we are home/available as well. I am confident your pet would have LOTS of love and attention! I have a nice fenced in yard and great neighborhood available for daily walks. We have a great safe space to care for your pet!
About: My husband and I are frequently taking care of our grand pups! Both 4 years old. We treat them like our own. One’s a chocolate lab, the other is a dachshund. I am an early riser. I get my morning exercise done then am pretty free the rest of the day. With the exception of an occasional appointment here and there. We do not have a fenced yard but would do daily walks. We have a path near our home. We also have lots of dog toys.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
