“Stacy is great! She's 100% reliable, prompt, conscientious & loving with our kitties. We will definitely ask her to take care of them the next time the need arises. She has our highest recommendation. Thanks, Stacy!”

“This was my first time using Rover and a dog sitter, so I was a little nervous at first — but Kathy immediately put me at ease! She was warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. My pups were relaxed and enjoyed their time with her. I appreciated the updates and photos she sent, which really helped me relax while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience — thank you, Kathy!”

“Marianne was great with our girls! One usually high tails it when someone new comes, but she warmed up after a few days and came out to investigate. Glad to have Marianne there to help us referee during feeding time otherwise it would have been every cat for themselves.”

“Erika was wonderful! She took a chance on our dogs who had never had a sitter before and it went great. Our dogs loved her and she did a fantastic job taking care of them and our home while we were away. We will absolutely rebook with her in the future.”

“Charlie did a fantastic job with my cat, Lincoln. She was very attentive, punctual, and perfectly followed directions. Lincoln was very content when I got home, so I know he was well taken care of. I definitely recommend Charlie; I will be requesting her services in the future!”

About: I am a huge animal lover! I have a dog (a labradoodle) and have been pet/house sitting for friends and neighbors since elementary school. I have cared for a wide variety of dogs, including both large and small breeds, high-energy dogs, and puppies. I have experience with basic obedience training and giving medications. I have also taken care of cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and chickens, and am always excited to meet new animal friends! As a recent college graduate, my schedule is very flexible, so I have a lot of time to devote to caring for your furry friends. I am happy to fill in for reoccurring services if necessary, but can't commit to anything long term right now. I'm here to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while you are away. I prioritize maintaining your pet's typical daily routines, and check-in with them frequently. If I'm house-sitting, I follow all rules and any special instructions, and am also happy to water plants, or collect mail, in addition to caring for your pet.

“I had to leave for a few days for a work trip, and I was extremely anxious about leaving my little-old-man of a cat home alone. I wanted somebody who I felt was reliable to check in on him and to be available in case of an emergency. Anna was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to my pet's needs. She did a great job and gave me some much needed peace of mind for my trip.”

Also have full availability on weekends to assist with your pooches! I’ve got you covered whenever your pup needs that walk. About: I’ve had dogs (German Shepherds) my whole life. We had to say goodbye to our 13 year old Shepherd, Lucy, not too long ago. Since then we have really enjoyed dog sitting our friends’ dogs and thought we might as well sign up on Rover to help more people with their furry family members. I currently work from home all but two days per week and my husband works from home those days so we are available for multiple walks per day and lots of pet snuggles! We live in a safe, family friendly neighborhood on a cul de sac with minimal traffic, have a fenced yard, access to Mt. Park trails out our backyard and Tryon Creek State Park is a few minutes away. Our daughter is 10 and LOVES animals. All three of us are big time DOG LOVERS!

“Gabriela did amazing work with our dog Leo , she is very attentive , we always got alerts about him her description of him while we are where away sounded just like our dog so I knew she was doing an amazing job , I would definitely book with again in the near future.”

I lost my dog last year (16 1/2 years) and currently have a cat who’s 18. I love my animals and will surely take good care of yours!!! I am retired after 37 years with the same company and feel that I have lots of extra time on my side and walking dogs (who I love) seems like a fantastic way to earn extra money and get some exercise! Currently when I am walking dogs, I make sure I am early, read all the notes and make sure your dog is safe and happy while in my care!!

“It was great to work with Leandra. She came through on short notice. It was clear from the photos she sent that the dogs loved her. We have just rebooked a handful of additional drop in and house sitting dates.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I absolutely adore them! The first dog I adopted as an adult came with a plethora of reactivity issues. After some trial and error, he and I were able to get his fear and reactivity issues to a manageable level. He is now a happy-go-lucky couch potato! I would love to provide the same services and care to other pet parents struggling with reactivity. I’m currently training to become a certified dog trainer, and I’m happy to work with you and your pup on their reactivity journey! Please contact me if you wish to set up a consultation for private lessons, or if you just want dog walking/drop in services! I am a college student who is home for the summer, and I have a basically free and clear schedule! I am happy to work around your schedule to walk, drop in, or help train your pup! I will follow any house rules you have (ex: shoes off in the house) to whatever extent you wish! I’m very flexible and rule oriented, so the more information you give the better I can help!

About: I’ve grown up around animals and treat every pet like my own. From snuggles to playtime, I’ll make sure your pet feels loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, feeding time, or high energy play, I’m here to keep your pet happy and you can count on me for dependable, loving care. I’m currently a college student taking online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! With a flexible schedule and open availability throughout the week, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet/house sitting - morning, midday, or evening. I understand how important safety, trust, and comfort are when it comes to your pets and your home. I always keep walls secure and controlled, stick to your pet’s routine, and respect your space as if it were my own. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment so your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for - whether I’m visiting for a walk or staying overnight.

Marion L.
“We had the pleasure of having Marion dog sit for us over a long weekend, and we couldn't be more grateful for her care and attention. She looked after our small, geriatric dog who requires extra encouragement to eat, as well as our energetic large breed who needs daily exercise and lots of attention. Marion handled both with ease and compassion—when we came home, our house looked exactly as we left it, and our dogs were happy and content. In addition to her wonderful care, Marion is always quick to respond and has even helped us in a pinch by swinging by to let the dogs out when our schedules changed unexpectedly. We highly recommend Marion to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and reliable pet sitter!”
