About: I’ve cared for animals in a wide range of environments, from farms on the Big Island of Hawaii to horses in Appalachia and North Florida. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals, (including caring for more than 30 pets in the Asheville area in one summer alone!) I’m dependable, grounded, and comfortable working independently. As a mother currently studying social work, I value calm communication, consistency, and creating a safe, relaxed environment for both pets and homes. I understand that every animal has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, and I aim to provide attentive, trustworthy care that helps pets feel secure while their owners are away. I’m also happy to include plant watering and basic plant care during visits when needed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m local to the Lake Junaluska and Waynesville area and have a flexible schedule, especially during the summer while school is out. I’m able to dedicate consistent time and attention to walks, drop-ins, feeding routines, and companionship throughout the day. Because I live nearby, commuting is easy for me, which helps me stay reliable and responsive for clients. I enjoy creating calm, steady environments for animals and genuinely value the trust involved in caring for someone’s pets and home. I currently provide care in clients’ homes so pets can remain comfortable in the environment they already know and trust. I understand how important consistency, routine, and familiarity are for animals while their owners are away. I aim to maintain a calm, clean, and dependable environment by carefully following feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and household preferences. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, communicative throughout each stay, and attentive to both pet safety and home security. My goal is always to help pets feel relaxed, cared for, and emotionally at ease while giving owners peace of mind that their home and animals are in responsible hands!

About: I have a passion for animals. I worked in a pet store for over year, enjoying being able to help pet owners find what their pets need. It’s rewarding to be able to help pet parents and pets get relief. Animals are giving and loving and I enjoy them so much. I have nine guinea pigs myself (which won’t effect my availability:)) and they are the absolute light of my life. Your pets will get so much love and care with me as your sitter. I love all animals, and I am comfortable with most dog sizes. I grew up with small dogs, rodents, and lizards. I understand that dogs need time outside for relieving themselves as well as exercise and fresh air. Every other kind of pet is also just as amazing, and I’d love to love and care for them too! I will be spending all the time I have with your pet. I wake up early to take care of them and I come home immediately after work to spend the evening with your pet. My job starts early, so I will have most of the afternoon and all evening to spend with them. I spend as much time as possible with your pet. I work full time, but make it a priority to be consistent so your pet knows what to expect from me and feels safe.

About: My name is Kate. Able to help in the Waynesville area! I would love to watch or come play with your animals! I have grown up having family dogs. So I know how to care for them properly. My family has owned three Labrador retrievers and a beagle mix! I am open to caring for any breed or size dog! I also have two pet cats so I am familiar with cats! I am caring and loving & would give attention to your dog when you are unavailable to. I am a trustworthy person and would respect you as well as your home when visiting your dog. Please contact me with any further questions or concerns ! I hope to hear from you soon! I work at the hospital. Unfortunately, this makes it so that I personally can’t own a pet. That is why I’d love to come visit yours! I Monday-Fridays, with Fridays being when I work mornings only. I am around on the weekends when I’m not on call or traveling! I am able to follow whatever instructions are needed for your pet! I am very respectful of your home. I will come to handle them and then leave in a timely manner! Whatever way is best for your pets to be left is what I will do. ( i.e crated or not)

“Bradly did a great job watching our two dogs while we were out of town for a few days. We had him drop in 3 times a day. He arrived promptly at the designated times, fed, walked and played with our pups. He is very kind and responsive giving us comfort that they were getting the attention they need. Our English Springer Spaniel is full of energy and Brad was able to give him the play time fetching sticks to burn off some of his energy. We live on a few acres so having someone that is also active was important to us. We trusted Bradly with our home and pets and would definitely use him again.”
