Caring for animals is part of my everyday life! I have 5 cats at home and plenty of hands-on experience from my time working at Pounce Cat Café. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily fit drop-in visits or walks into my daily routine. I prioritize making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

At home, I make sure my cats stay healthy by keeping plenty of fresh water available at all times, along with dry food in the morning and wet food at night. Hydration is especially important for cats, so I always prioritize it. My cats also get lots of playtime and affection, they follow me around like shadows and love to cuddle. I understand how important both stimulation and comfort are for their well-being. In a client’s home, I’ll always follow your pet’s specific routines while making sure they have fresh water and whatever type of care keeps them feeling safe and happy. I’m skilled at reading animal behavior and can usually tell if they’re in the mood for play, snuggles, or just quiet company. My goal is to reduce stress and make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for.

Whether it’s cats or dogs, I make sure they get affection, attention, and care tailored to their personalities. I also love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you’ll never have to wonder how they’re doing while you’re away!

Cat care experience
Cats are my world! 💕 I worked at Pounce Cat Café in Charleston for almost a year and I now share my home with four cats of my own, each with their own unique personality. At Pounce, I cared for up to 17 cats daily; feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and administering medications. I also got plenty of practice building trust with shy or nervous cats, handling them gently when they were stressed (meds, nail trims, clean-ups), and sometimes getting scratched in the process 😅. That experience taught me patience, proper handling, and paying extra attention to body language Especially because of my cats at home, I understand how unique every cat’s personality can be, and how important it is to give them individualized care. Whether that’s medication based (one of my cats has asthma), or gauging whether they want playtime, cuddling, or just want some space. Cats truly are my passion, and I take pride in being attentive, patient, and a quick learner. I’ll treat your cat with the same love and care I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. 😸💕
