“Daniela took many notes on our meet and greet. She took great care to understand our medication routine and to perform it exactly as instructed. She petted our 29-year old finicky cat and prepared his food using a method that ensured he was eager to eat it She made sure to lock up securely. She sent many pictures and a video. 100% satisfied.”

“Nicole was great. She stopped by twice a day to take care of my two large breed dogs. She was great with my dogs especially my one who tends to be a bit of a jumper. She handled them well and took great care of them and spent time playing ball with them to waste energy. I would recommend Nicole and would use again.”

“Sarah was so helpful! I was delayed in travel and unable to welcome my new kitty who was arriving from the shelter. Sarah graciously offered to come to my home and spend some time with him. She gave me great updates so I knew he was in good hands. I had never used Rover so the idea of having a stranger come into my house and meet my kitty was a bit odd, but Sarah made me very comfortable and I came home to a very happy kitten! Will absolutely be calling Sarah if I need help in the future.”

“Samantha is the best! She’s been very reliable and helpful, going above and beyond to communicate with me about Peppermint ears. (My dog has an ear infection that I had not noticed.)”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I had a golden retriever who sadly passed away 10 years ago and then helped raise and train a collie mix with my parents. After moving out I adopted a dog of my own who needed a lot of behavioral training and patience. I understand what it’s like to have a more difficult pet and am here to help. would love to help care for your dogs like my own. I am unable board your pets in my own home but can pet/house sit at your house or take them on walks regularly I work full time in healthcare Monday-Friday from 8-4 but am available for evening walks. I get major holidays off and am available most weekends to care for your pup as well. I cannot board your dog in my home due to behavioral issues with my own pup however I am able to stay over and care for your pup in the comfortable of their own home. I follow all instructions and guidelines provided to care for your pets appropriately and never allow dogs off leash or to interact with other dogs for safety unless otherwise specified

“We just had a first visit with Ashley, and I couldn’t be happier! She was right on time, brought such calm and positive energy, and was incredibly patient with my two Boston Terriers (one of whom has major trust issues!). She took her time, gave them space, and by the end they were relaxed and happy! Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely good with animals.”

About: Hello, Rover community! 😎 From the age of 8, dogs have been constant companions in my life, and caring for them has become a hobby of mine. 🐶 Whether it's tending to my own Maltese Shih Tzu mix or gaining hands-on work experience at an animal hospital and a doggie daycare during summer and winter breaks🏥. I even handle grooming for my own pup! I am an active volunteer and foster parent at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and they've given me valuable training experience. Besides dogs, I've also cared for a variety of animals like guinea pigs, chickens, turtles, and fish. 🫂 I'm a full-time college student, but I'm home most of the time and drive to campus only when I have class. I will not accept any stay if I can't be with your pup for the whole length of it. During breaks, I'll be at home and accepting reservations for any day.📲Communication is key, so I'm more than happy to provide videos or photos of your pet upon request. Whether you prefer regular updates like me or would rather relax and receive updates near the end of your dog's stay, I'll adjust updates accordingly. Just let me know your preferences to ensure a peace of mind while you're away from your furry friend. 📷 Working in an animal hospital with patients' strict medication and diet has trained me to follow instructions quickly and accurately. I take pet care seriously, especially cleanliness and safety. I uphold these practices in my own space, using disinfectants that are pet friendly to ensure every dog's well being. While your pup is with me, the pup will stay in my room or the living room so I can keep track of things I should clean at the end of the day. 🐾 I love my dog very much and she spends a lot of time with me, so I want to make sure she doesn't get sick as well. Doing this will also ensure future dog's health and my own. 🧼

I am currently open to working part-time as I teach during the school year. During the summer I can work flexibly, and during the school year I can help on evenings and weekends. I can additionally help with pet sitting or walking. I can also do house visits in general. I have a fence for my own pups and rescue animals. I am a very attentive pet parent, I always make sure everyone is safe and happy. I am good at keeping pets entertained, making sure they eat (and don't steal from their siblings lol), and keeping the mischief at bay.
