About: Hi, I’m Lex — a teacher, mom, and lifelong animal lover here in Lake Charles! I provide in-home pet care, drop-ins, dog walking, and overnight stays for dogs, cats, and small pets of all kinds. My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away — just like family. I care for pets right in their own homes, giving them plenty of exercise, play, and attention. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and multi-pet households, and I understand how to make even the shy ones feel at ease. You might see my little one with me — he’s gentle, calm, and has grown up around animals. Together, we bring extra love and warmth to every visit 🐶🐱 Since I teach during the day, I’m available after 4PM on weekdays, all day on weekends, and full-time during school breaks. My name is Kloe, and I am a 27 year old RN who is deciding to pursue her dream of working with and helping animals full time! I am enrolled in online courses for Veterinary Nursing through Purdue University. I am also a registered nurse with a Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, and I hope to continue working part time in this role. I have loved and owned animals all my life. I routinely picked up strays starting as young as 10. I have four dogs of my own at the moment, but I have had as many as 10 in my home at a time! I have a long history of fostering dogs as well as dog sitting, both in the Houston area as a Rover sitter and privately in the smaller community of Jasper, TX. I have volunteered with multiple shelters and rescues since high school, and I have experience with a wide range of behaviors, personalities, and breeds. I have functional/basic bathing and grooming skills, such as nail trimming; I’m willing to add these services on for any new booking - whether it’s just check ins/walks or doggy daycare/boarding. I am quite flexible, and I am looking forward to getting to know new families and pups in the area! At this time, I’m focusing on school and devoting myself to dog walking, grooming, training, and general care. I am attentive to my pets’ needs so that I can identify potential problems early on and intervene. I enforce good leash manners at all times and overall encourage polite, calm behavior from my animals. I love to play a good round of fetch or tug-of-war and have no problem work with just about any behavior or play style.

I’m currently at home with my 6 month old so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. That makes it easier to stick to your pet’s normal schedule. About: I am active and love to be active with a canine. I moved back to Louisiana from Hawaii in 2021. I have been an active Rover sitter in Honolulu since 2018. I love dogs and enjoy when they visit my home. My sweet Bear passed away last year so opening my home to care for other fur babies is extra special. I would really like to share the love I have to give with your dog/s. Also, I know dogs miss their owners and get lonely when their loved ones are away. About: I have a rescue pup named Maui ❤️ We got her from a family because they couldn’t take care of her when she was 3 months old. I loveeeee animals and they will be in the best care when they are with me!! We will go for walks and play together the whole time! There is also a dog park down the street we can go to and let out some energy. Toys can be provided if necessary. If you would like for your pup to stay the night with me they will have Maui to play with and get tons of lovins so if they like to cuddle that’s a plus!!!!! Prefer text because I can’t always answer my phone. But call/text option available. I have no problem picking up and dropping off your babies! We have plenty of time to play and love on your fur babies. Someone will always be with them when they are staying at the Duhon residence. We have 5 dogs who will play and keep your pup entertained. I have 5 friendly fur babies to keep your pet company. We take LOTS of naps 💤 and play hard 🦴 If your pet is more comfortable being in a crate, I am able to accommodate that as well.

About: With my experience as a Vet Tech, I provide expert care for pets, including medication administration, special needs management, and daily routines. I focus on keeping pets healthy, safe, and comfortable while providing peace of mind to their humans. I work Monday through Thursday and some weekends, about 35 hours a week, and I get a lunch break. I use mornings, evenings, and my lunch break to take care of my pets—feeding them, playing, and making sure they get exercise and attention consistently throughout the week. I provide attentive and consistent care for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. This includes feeding according to their schedule, providing fresh water, giving medications if needed, offering exercise and playtime, and monitoring their behavior and health. I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

About: I am a very outgoing, open minded person. I’ve had a variety of pets from childhood until now. I love animals, and am very excited to meet and care for new friends. We have a gated backyard outside my home for quick potty breaks and playtime! I am currently a part time student at LLCC but I am also working from home, so I'll be spending plenty of time with any guests. I usually wake up around 7am to get an early start for the day! Pets daily home routines don't change when they are staying here. I will always ask what their schedules look like if I am not specifically told.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, taking care of them and meeting their needs. i grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, and cats administering medicine as needed. Throughout middle school I helped out with a blind dog and I shortly helped with an elderly dog who was hip and joint problems. I've also worked at a vet clinic where i was surrounded by animals with all kinds of issues. I recently graduated McNeese with a degree in animal science and have a part time job where I can work whenever so working around my work schedule isn’t a big issue I’m available Monday through Thursday 6am-5pm and Friday from 6am-12-pm. Weekend availability varies. I love playtime with the pets i have a dog of my own and have been a sitter for many others and meet their needs as required ranging from meds to outside playtime.

About: I have helped take care of animals for as long as I can remember. We've always had a family dog that I would help feed and walk. Once moving out on my own I got a rescue dog who is also my service dog. Since getting married to my husband we've added two Bassett hounds to our family. When visiting my parents ranch I help feed the horses, chickens, dogs and even cows. I'm an animal lover. 😁 I am a full time stay at home mom. I typically get up and start my day around 8:30/9am. Making it to walk your fur babies on time will not be an issue unless I have other commitments, but I will inform you of them if and when necessary! Watching your 4 legged friend at your house they will be be able to go about their regular day! They will get frequent potty breaks, tug of war and all the snuggles and pets! At this time I cannot take any dogs at my house over night due to renting restrictions, but they are welcome for play dates! I have three other dogs who LOVE to play. I do not have a fenced yard BUT they will be walked frequently, typically about ever 1 1/2 to 2 hours
