I am enrolled in online courses for Veterinary Nursing through Purdue University. I am also a registered nurse with a Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, and I hope to continue working part time in this role. I have loved and owned animals all my life. I routinely picked up strays starting as young as 10. I have four dogs of my own at the moment, but I have had as many as 10 in my home at a time! I have a long history of fostering dogs as well as dog sitting, both in the Houston area as a Rover sitter and privately in the smaller community of Jasper, TX. I have volunteered with multiple shelters and rescues since high school, and I have experience with a wide range of behaviors, personalities, and breeds. I have functional/basic bathing and grooming skills, such as nail trimming; I’m willing to add these services on for any new booking - whether it’s just check ins/walks or doggy daycare/boarding. I will always show them affection and care to their needs. I’ll treat them like my own! I will bring them treats and toys. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
