Sharon and Francesca are very good about replacing the potty pads and cleaning up any messes. They take the dogs out for walks, show up on time. And are very good at corresponding with me about them and sending pictures. It makes me feel good to know that my dogs are well taken care of while I’m gone. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.”

About: I not only grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens and other farm animals but I have cared for numerous other small and large animals. I have studied extensively on service dog training and canine diets- you could say I am passionate about canine care. No dog is too difficult to train and I not only care for animals but love to engage with them whether that is testing their memory skills or keeping them entertained with playtime. I usually go on long morning hikes, a mid day walk, and an evening hour long walk. My flexible and remote work allows for me to care for additional pets. I enjoy caring for animals in addition to my own dog as my dog loves having company over. Providing attention and care for your pet is of utmost important. I know the importance of getting updates and photos of our loved dogs so we would make sure to do that.

“Vanja is the absolute best pet sitter around! She came to our rescue when our boy, Conway Kitty, needed it the most! Conway had just been diagnosed with diabetes and had spent 3 days in the vet hospital (we almost lost him), and we were about to leave to go on a trip for 3 weeks... With him in early recovery, we were so nervous to leave him. As soon as we met Vanja, we knew she had the compassion and care needed to take pet sit for him! She was able to deliver his multiple medications daily, take care of his special dietary needs, and gave him extra love and care while he moved through his recovery. Her attention to his well-being and continuous updates provided us so much comfort while we were away. And, to top it off, I know by his demeanor upon our return home he was well loved and cared for the whole time! Not only was Conway well taken care of, so was our home! I would recommend Vanja to any pet parent who wants to ensure their fur baby is in the best of hands and I'll continue to use her for as long as we can to watch our boy!”

About: You and your pet will always receive my attention and respect. I enjoy going above and beyond for any furry friend. I have cared for dogs big and small, puppy to mature. I have experience with special diets, physical limitations and medications. I’m a fan of sloppy doggy kisses. I enjoy exercising with the dogs and making sure that they get the most out of their day. I am happy to see that your pup follows all house rules while you are away. I am very flexible during the week and can schedule over 99% of weekends with a minimum of a couple days notice (but don’t hesitate if it’s last minute). I enjoy teaching tricks and discipline as long as the pup parent approves.

About: I am athletic, nurturing and patient. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for over 15 beloved years and I look forward to taking care of your fuzzy friends. I work from home so having pets gives me the opportunity to go out for a walk and get exercise myself. I can board dogs for the night. I have a spare crate available if your dog prefers it, whereas I usually have dog beds in every room that my dog likes to use.

About: I have had family dogs growing up and as well as into adulthood and around my daughter. My dog passed a couple years ago and I thought I could give back to the pet community. I have my own business so I can set my own schedule which allows me to work around the schedule that you need. My business is local on the mountain so I am up and around the area. I care for the pets the way that you need. I will ask questions and find out from you how best to care for them and their needs. I then write those details down and remember them on the follow up visits.

“Dawn was fantastic! We could see when she came and went (on our front door security camera) and we know Parker was well taken care of. She spent time with him during her evening visits and sent us lots of pictures. We're hoping to use Dawn anytime we leave town and he can't come with us.”
