About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was very little. I am a equine major and own 3 dogs and a cat. I am very responsible and trustworthy and care for your pets just as if they were my own. I would never want to put you in a place to have to worry.

“Rosemary took great care of our 3 cats for a week. I felt comfortable and confident that they were fed, happy, and also got the attention and love that they needed while we were away. We looked forward to the daily updates and photos. Everything seemed to go well. I would definitely book with her again for a future trip and would also recommend her to anyone local who needed pet care.”

“It was such a great decision to have Gladys and Liani take care of our cats! They proved to be extremely responsive, reliable, and punctual. When there was a car accident along the way, Gladys even checked in to let us know they would be a few minutes late. What really made Gladys and Liani stand apart from other sitters was their enthusiasm. It didn't seem like taking care of pets is just a job -- it seems that they genuinely love animals. Separately, while others made the initial scheduling process overly complicated, it was really easy to arrange everything with Gladys. Gladys and Liani earned our highest recommendation!”

“I am happy with Stephanie and so are my cats! Stephanie was very reachable and clearly communicated. Professional, personable, and respectful. I will contact her whenever a cat sitter is needed. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi my name is Cory! I love dogs and they seem to know it right away. I have been around dogs since I was 4 years old. I have owned 2 akitas and an English bulldog . My latest Akita Diablo passed away 5 years ago and I haven't gotten another dog since his passing so currently I have no dogs. I only have chinchillas and a hamster as of now. I have a lot of experience working with dogs and they seem to feel relaxed and comfortable when in my care, making this the perfect job for me. I can help to maintain the routine they are used to, so they will not get anxious or feel so alone while their owners are away. I have extensive knowledge concerning the different breeds of dogs and I know how to take care of them properly. I understand that some breeds have special needs and that the age of the dog will play a major role in how to take care of them. You can depend on me to provide excellent service and to take great care of your dog/dogs. I know what questions to ask to make sure I understand their specific needs. I will be full time dedicated to your furry child, providing walks and play time as much as needed! About: Growing up in a home with two beloved rescue corgis and cats, I learned early on the importance of compassion and care for animals. My family dedicated countless years to fostering dogs in need, primarily from southern areas, which helped me understand the unique personalities and needs of every pet. Currently, I have three energetic rescue pups that I raised from puppies, and this has only deepened my love and understanding of dogs. With years of experience pet-sitting, walking, and fostering, I’ve gained a strong ability to connect with dogs of all backgrounds and temperaments. Whether it’s giving special attention to shy rescues or providing energy-filled playtime, I’m here to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for in every way. I'm currently a student-athlete at URI and do not have a job, so I have flexibility throughout the day during the week. This allows me to give your pups the outdoor time they deserve, whether it's for a quick walk or a longer adventure. I have plenty of experience walking dogs, and I always stay alert to my surroundings, including other animals and people. Observing your dog's reactions helps me determine the best course of action to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the walk

About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both! I look forward to your consideration, and if you have any questions about my experience or anything please let me know. I am currently between full-time jobs but keeping my calendar updated very frequently with my summer availability as I am hoping to pick up work either ongoing or on a one-time basis! Depending on the comfort of each pet, I always spend some time introducing myself and getting to know them at first. Spend some time petting them and getting them comfortable with my presence in their space, and next playing with them if they’re up for it. Once they know they can trust me, we’ll take the day ahead together and they’ll alternate resting, playing with toys, and walking outside. I also love to share photos with owners, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what we’re up to.

“This was my first time using Rover and Clint made me feel comfortable about it. Asked good questions about my dog beforehand and sent good updates and pictures while with Lucy. She looked like a happy girl!”

“Melissa is super caring!! She watched my very active dog Susie while also taking care of my cats. They had a great vacation! She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable! Great animal lover too.”

About: I’ve lived so little of my life without a dog around. What separates me from other sitters is that I live to care. I rescued and raised my dog myself and she is exceptionally sweet and friendly. I’ve seen a lot. With all types of dogs. I once saved a senior beagle from the lockjaw of an untrained pitbull for example. And of course my friends and family have paid me throughout the years and known me to be a reliable and loving dog sitter. ‼️Drop in visits only ATM‼️ I am in a rebuilding stage of my life. Every day is up for negotiation. Days that I consider good, I like to make sure my own dog’s quality of life is at its best. Please don’t hesitate to contact me in your preferred way. Their safety and trust are paramount. Including mental safety! I’ve been in hundreds of homes in the service industry. I know your pets might not enjoy the surprise company but, I’ll make sure they’re all taken care of while you’re out. :) My hopes are the busy people in the area that think about their pets alone in the house at work, reach out to me.

Lauren J.
“Max came home from his week with Lauren exhausted- but super happy and lots of tail wags. It was really nice to know that he was still getting lots of love and activity while we were gone, it put my mind at ease. It was like sending him to summer camp while I’m vacationing!”

Joe V.
“Joe has arguably my best friend for close to 20 years. All throughout my life he has had dogs and cats. He treats every animal that he comes in contact with the utmost respect and care. His dog Luna right now is a very well behaved pup and will not leave his side because she adores him so much. Joe's love for animals far surpasses most that deal with them on a daily basis and I believe he would be a perfect candidate to walk dogs for this company.”
